About Old Glory Barbeque
Of all of our "native" food, barbecue is uniquely, authentically and gloriously All-American. Old Glory, located on historic M Street in Georgetown, captures the food, flavor and feel of the great barbecue restaurants of the United States, and offers representations of each styles of barbecue served in different parts of the country. "It looks like a rib joint, sounds like a rib joint and smells like one...most important, of course, the kitchen smokes fine barbecue," says the Washington Post.
The huge barbecue pit, the open kitchen, and the 1901 Silver Dollar Four Winds hand-crafted bar, create lively, exciting atmosphere that is downright down-home.

Old Glory Barbeque Ratings and Reviews
Took the family there for my father-in-law’s birthday. Our waiter was new so he forgot to put in orders and drinks and bought my brother-in-law’s food out 15 mins late because he put in the wrong order. Also my mother-in-law didn’t like the salmon. Other than that, everything was great! Pops really enjoyed himself. The waiter was polite and very nervous so I still tipped him well. Lol
Don't go. The service was terrible. The waiter/bartender was clueless. The food is not good enough to endure the lack of everything else. On top of that, it's not cheap. So you are paying a pretty penny for lackluster food and awful service. Doesn't seem right. There was a large group of us...between us all, we tried the ribs, brisket, chicken thighs, salad, wings, nachos, collard greens, man and cheese, baked beans. The ribs were just ok, nothing to write home about. The brisket was a bit dry. The chicken thighs were not cooked all the way through so the meat didn't come away from the bone very easily. The salad was mostly iceberg but cost $17. The mac and cheese was mostly noodles and some cheddar cheese sprinkled on top, not melted, not creamy, no flavor...blah. The baked beans were ok. The collard greens were too vinegary. The wings were very tasty, but needed a couple of more minutes of cooking time.
Great staff. BBQ ribs were burnt, not badly but definitely noticeable and therefore the meat was dry. Ordered two New York strip steaks and they were cooked fine but didn't have any taste?? Potato salad was great. Drinks and beer were great.
Too expensive for average to below average food.
Didn't want to spend a fortune and we were eager to try some Q since we are big fans. Thought the pulled pork was good but a little skimpy. But the mac and cheese with BBQ chili was delicious! Little corn muffins were also very good. Nice service. Good beer. Glad we were upstairs because the bar area is very loud.
