   My husband enjoyed his birthday brunch there. The restaurant was very pleasant and the service was great! We were running late due traffic but I contacted the restaurant advise what happened. The hostess saved our reservation and assured us it was okay. The food was very tasty and you got a lot for your buck. I would go back to try it again.

   Food and service was excellent. Very friendly waitress who was educated on the menu when asked questions. Salmon dip appetizer served with fresh crostini’s was over the top delicious.

    Delicious food! Small portions and a new more expensive menu. The noise in the back room was too much. Our party of 4 couldn’t hear one another. The hostess kindly aloud us to move closer to the front of the restaurant near the bar. It was more quiet but cold because they open the doors to the outdoor patio seating. It was 40 degrees outside and the hanging plastic drapes don’t keep the cold out. Good food, great waiter but I expect better ambiance for a $250 meal.

    One day f our favorite spots to hang out and have dinner, usually eat at a high top by the bar r just at the bar. Food is of high quality and service is always excellent. Would like to see some diversity in the appetizer section, and a couple choice of fish other than Salmon on the menu but really great place to go and the west village is always good for people watching.

    Chattanooga is overflowing with terrible restaurants….most are chains and most are filthy…the number of rat boxes outside is incredible….they wouldn’t last 1 week in the NE….best choices for decent food, service and ambiance are Hennen’s, Public House, St John’s and Old Gilman’s Grill…I am over 80 and I have never been in a restaurant that had a full picture window of the kitchen as in Old Gilman’s Grill….it works because the kitchen is clean, efficient and includes help that are proud of what they are preparing.

    Food was excellent - fantastic cocktails - service was attentive and knowledgeable - atmosphere was super loud (there was a group of teenagers going to a dance close by and a large table of adults too - no fault of the restaurant) Don’t miss the squash blossoms and the stuffed dates!

    Jake was our waiter and was very nice. Unfortunately, two of our steaks were over cooked. One was so tough that we couldn’t cut it with the knife. The other was medium well instead of medium rare. We sent back the tough one and kept the other. The staff was very apologetic, but nothing was taken off the bill. The overcooked steak and the replacement steak were on the bill. It had to be addressed again. We are regular customers and felt like something should have been taken off the bill. We love the restaurant and will be back for sure, but feel like it could have been handled better.

    I never eaten at this establishment before. Very good. We sat on the patio. Bailey was our server and she was great. Very attentive and not too rushed knowing we were on a business meeting. I drink a lot of water so she made sure the water was always filled up. Nice menu and not very big. Two of us had salad's with chicken which were very good. Someone had the salmon which he finished all of it and the salmon dip as an appetizer. Definitely will come back.
