Overall not too impressed. Not good but not bad. Server ordered wrong entree but offered to make it right. She was attentive and friendly. Food was average.
Food was awesome! Loved the beer samples! Service was great!
Pizza was excellent and the original wings were very tender, not like other places where they are hard. Staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the products. A bit on the pricey side but would definately recommend
We loved the food, especially the Pizza my husband ordered, do not remember the name, and the Mediterranean Salad.
The mixed drinks were spot on as well.
It was the soft opening and very crowded but food was excellent. Service spotty but it was first day!!
Fun atmosphere. Will go back.
Pretty hectic, servers working hard, not relaxing. Prefer less crowed and quieter eating place.
We were guests for the soft opening and while they were still working out kinks, we enjoyed our visit.
We came for the open seating pre-open event. It was packed in a good way didn't take long to get our table. I love the openness of the restaurant and how you can have multiple views of the TV's. The food I must say was very good. We will be coming back often as a group to eat.
Every thing was great until it got to the placing of the food. Our waitress was definitely in training. she didn't tell us about the either or on the appetizer or dessert, and our food was very late. We had friends come in 15 min later than we did and they ate, got their to boxes and was talking to us before we received our food. Actually this girl name Ashleigh went to the back and got the cooks to working for us. GO ASH!!! But our waitress Kat need to look for another profession. Everyone needs a job but waiting tables may not be what she needs to do. Another friend received a Rewards Card plus she received a free appetizer on her next visit. My party got nothing but a long wait and bad wait staff. If I had to pay for this meal, I would have asked for the manager and I would still be proving the case. But Kat was a sweet girl, very nice and maybe this wasn't her day but she can't have many of the days she had Saturday. My reservation was at 5:15, we were there on time with minutes to spare and we didn't get out until around 8:45 or so. That's too long even if you are in training. with the exception of the wait staff, it was really nice. You may say that's not too long for a visit to a restaurant but it is when most of that time was waiting on food and refills.. Would I come again, yes only if I can have Ashleigh as my waitress!!! Go Ash!
Food "wait time" and "computer check out" seemed excessive, but was understandable due to the invitational event.....BUT, it was delicious and plate-filling. Thank you. And, by the way, Eric, one of your trainers, is great with people.
But we appreciate the free dinner and favor to Literacy Council.
It took about 45 minutes to get our pizza. So a little long - but we new training was going on, so not a problem. The wait staff was very friendly and we will definitely come back.
The food was great. Amy was our server and she did everything she could to make our visit to Old Chicago pleasant. My only concern is the noise level but that is to be expected for old people.
Our server, Brittany, was AMAZING!!!!!! She made the experience so much fun!!! The food was awesome!! Will definitely be returning!!!
The pizza dough was good, but overall, the pizza was disappointing. Dry and only one slice of pepperoni on the whole thing. Could use a little more sauce also.
Menu was pricey.
Salad was very good.
Enjoyed the beer. but 23 ounces was a bit too much at one time. Could you serve smaller , frosted glasses to help keep the beer colder?
Really enjoyed the lunch. Food was tasty. Thought the food was a little pricy for pizza. But I will be back, staff was outstanding!
this was opening day, so we made our reservation to come try the NEW location out in Tyler Texas. The food was good. We were a party of 4 and we all had the individual pizzas. I was surprised to find a single size pizza as large as that one was. We all had the beer batter crust and everyone enjoyed what each of us ordered. Matter of fact we all but one person took a to-go box upon leaving the restaurant. Some of my comments are probably because we were at the soft opening. Other than that we all enjoyed our dinning experience.
We went to the sneak preview which benefits a local charity.
Service was great at the bar top.
Beer burger is very good. Our pizza was a bit over-cooked. The sweet potato tots were interesting.
They have 30-40 beers on tap and sports on everywhere.
They have a rewards program.
You have a choice of bar top, tall tables that accommodate 6-8 people, booths and I think I saw some bench or couch-like seating.
They support local charities.
came for soft opening - food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful!
will definitely be back!
It was the soft opening so I know everyone working there was new. But the service was horrible !!!! They were not prepared at all. They knew nothing about their 40 beers and it took over two hours to get four drinks and three mini pizzas. And btw the two cocktails had absolutely no liquor in them and their brought us the wrong beer and we still had to pay for them ! Will not go back. Sorry
The beer was very good and food was good too. It was so noisy it was hard to carry on any kind of conversation.
I went as part of the soft opening for my CBS TV station. Everyone was so friendly and inviting and very excited. Tyler is such a growing community that we are also very excited when we have a new place to go to!! Everything we tasted was amazing!!
It was a nice experience and will be coming back in the future. Awesome service and food.
I really enjoyed my experience. Our waitress Amanda was AWESOME. I look forward to dinning at Old Chicago again soon.
Excellent food and friendly service. I can't wait to go back
I know this was a training invitation that I was given. I really enjoyed the food. I would have like to have been given the opportunity to try some of the items on the regular menu because those were the types of items I would be more interested in ordering. The Pre-opening menu was limited.
Ive eaten at Old Chicago twice and was not pleased w either food order.
Awesome food and lots if TV's. Great and fun atmosphere to hang out with friends.
