Thick crust pizza was very good. Service was not that great. Our server said multiple servers were out sick. The managers should have been more actively involved in helping. I would go back to have the pizza again! Hopefully the service would be better
No one at door for five minutes to seat us. Server passed us numerous time and ignored our table. Came and told me my pizza was "dropped" so my order would be longer. Pizza came finally. Was not hot in center. Used cheese.
Very loud as well.
Ordered a desert and ten minutes later still not at table. Had to hold my arm out to block the waitress to get her to bring me a check. Register was beside our table. She took my card and walked to four tables and checked on them before running my card.
Poorly managed and staff needs training in kitchen, door and servers. Good luck if you go there.
They no longer accept reservations through Open Table.
Hostess was incredibly rude and informed us they don’t take reservations. When I showed her the reservation on my phone she tried to grab my phone and said “you may as well delete that off your phone, we don’t take reservations.” She was incredibly rude to several members of our party.
The waitress was very nice but seemed to be the only person actually working.
The food took forever. Out of several items.
Made an Open Table reservation for a party of 5 for 7:30. Arrived at 7:22 and was told they didn’t know how to use that on their end. So we would have to wait 10 - 15 minutes even though there was a six-person booth empty just to the right of the hostess station. They proceeded to seat a couple at that table even though there were two four-tops in the same area. 20 - 25 minutes later we were seated at a table that was soaking wet and had a fork and a bunch of mac&cheese on the floor near the chairs.
The food was fantastic!
Service was very slow.
The issue was when we arrived they explained to us that they did not accept reservations thru OpenTable and we had to wait. They also told us they had requested several times they been removed from this site and still have not been. They DO NOT HONOR reservations from your site!!!!
The restaurant was great but they said they don’t take open table reservations but they worked to get us in anyways. They said they’ve tried to communicate with open table and tell them to take them off but have had no luck. Thank you to old Chicago for still getting us in.
Made a reservation, got there and they tell me they don’t use Open Table. 🤬
Server Frank was great my pizza was good my girlfriend and her daughters food was ice cold
Old Chicago claims to no longer be associated to Open Table and as a result did not have a reservation for us. Luckily they could accommadate us. They claim they've repeatedly asked you to remove them from your service to no avail. It makes it unlikely I would use your service again for fear I'd show up without said reservation.
Great service. Kitchen did a great job of meeting our families dietary resteictions.
This restaurant no longer honors open table reservations. I asked why they didn’t close their account and they said it was a corporate issue. I had reserved a table for a party of 8 on Mother’s Day. The restaurant had several empty tables however, we were told it would be a 20 minute wait that turned into 30 minutes. The hostess and waitress lacked problem solving skills regarding were to seat us and I finally suggested the large booth in the corner that had been empty the entire time we were waiting. The waitress was agitated and grumpy, she only warmed up when the checks came out at the end of the meal. We waited an hour for our food. We were given visibly dirty appetizer plates. I will never go to this place again. It was a heap of disappointment.
I would recommend the restaurant but not happy to get there and find out they don't use Open Table and our reservation was never received.
This restaurant no longer participated in open table.
They do not accept OpenTable reservations
I would recommend Old Chicago, yet since they no longer use Open Table for reservations, our reservations were not made with them. It could have been a problem if they had been busier.
Love Old Chicago, disappointed in OPEN TABLE
We cane here for dinner the night before my wedding so all the in laws could meet and it was the perfect venue and the food was delicious!
We had a reservation for 13, had to cancel half the people coming just to go there bc I was called 3 hours before our reservation and told they were overbooked. 7 of us ended up dining and still had to wait almost an hour when we had a reservation. They weren't really crowded, just severely understaffed. Bartender had to be all but chased, and we saw two tables leave bc they never got their food after waiting 1.5 hours. We waited almost the full 1.5 for our food. Our waitress was nice but had too many tables to focus on any of them. Definitely gone down hill.
Took over an hour to get food was very slow and service was awful had to ask for things and for refills and they were not very busy
Always great food and service!
The service was very poor. We had a party of 8 and once it was time to pay the bill the server was not interested in helping us figure it out. We wanted to split two pizzas on 3 tabs and after about 20 minutes we were told that was impossible. The server told us she had to sneak us to go boxes because the manager said not to give them out. Splitting the bill was a disaster so we ended up just settling for whatever the server could do. We will not return to old Chicago in the future.
They do not recognize open table reservations. Open Table is not recognized by Old Chicago. They do not take reservations. Open table is intrusive and deceptive.
