The Old Ballard Liquor Co. is a tiny Scandinavian distillery and cafe in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. Paying homage to the area's history as a Scandinavian fishing and blue collar neighborhood, the focus is on quality, contemporary Nordic liquor and food, both made in-house.

The rustic twelve-seat cafe is located immediately on the distillery floor and is a completely unique dining experience. The plates are designed for aquavit pairing and meant to be shared. Both the liquor products and menus rotate and change with the seasons, and there's always something new to try in the tasting room.

              80 proof. Our restaurant line. This is a high quality vodka in a simple bottle. A top end, 6x distilled corn base is brought in and blended with crisp, natural Cascade artesian spring water from Mt. Rainier, allowing us to provide Seattle bars and restaurants a top shelf vodka at a well price.               Incredibly unique place, unlike anywhere I've ever been before. The tasting room is tiny and intimate, and visitors can see straight into the back room of the distillery, which was fascinating for me. All of the drinks I had tasted AMAZING, and we left with a few bottles of aquavit and cherry bounce for later. The staff members were all quite helpful and attentive. All in all, a truly wonderful experience.
