We really enjoyed our experience at OLA. Our server, Guillerm, was friendly and great at helping us make our choices. I felt like she actually cared which is rare these days. The empanada starters are amazing and wealth worth the splurge. I had the Pionono which was very flavorful and my hubby had the yucca mash which he enjoyed immensely. We were celebrating a special occasion and were vern pleased that we chose Ola.
Cada día se come más rico! El servicio es extraordinario. Todos pendientes de cada detalle.
This may have been the best meal of my life, and considering I live in a top three food city that is saying something. The service was impeccable. The fire and ice ceviche was so memorable and interesting. The courtyard setting was majestic. It was a pricey meal but well worth it for a big birthday, which we were celebrating.
My wife and I have been to Ola many times. They have relocated a couple of times, but the food/cuisine is so delicious, every time. I grew up eating Peruvian food, so the ceviche was on point, bringing me back to the days my grandmother use to make that for us. We enjoyed the OLA meatballs made of Kobe beef, and the lobster empanada..amazingly delicious. Red Snapper special was juicy and flavorful. The chefs know what they are doing here.
Food was fantastic. But service was extremely poor. Our server didn’t check on us for an hour in between ceviche course, appetizer and entree, and it took 2 hours for our entree to come. I think the reason it took so long is because our server didn’t check on us or the food, so he didn’t realize the kitchen didn’t get the order. I think our situation was abnormal, as everyone else who arrived after us, got their entrees quicker and were checked on more frequently. And once again, the food was delicious.
Una Experiencia fantástica, la comida en general deliciosa, la atención súper buena , agradecidos de Francisco por su buena atención . El bar muy bueno y los bartender súper atentos . Recomendamos el restaurante
Waited more than 90 minutes for main courses to arrive and then were told it would be another 15 minutes.
Appetizers tasted good but by the time the main courses would have arrived, it would have been to late.
We cancelled the mains and left disappointed.
We used to love Ola in its old location, this is nothing like it.
Won’t be back
Had 2 ceviches and chef special fish of the day grilled (no head or bones). Absolutely delicious and flawless. Little sweet bread on the side was also amazing. Do recommend!!
Service cadence was way off. Received ceviche very quickly (5 min from ordering) then waited 20 min for first parts second course, and another 30 for rest the rest of the second courses. We had to cancel the main because food took so long.
Restaurant 30% overpriced - however the food is very creative and extremely tasty.
Except the desert which was downright awful
expected more unfortunately. The ceviche was excellent as was the tartare.
It was a great experience and our server Guillerm was great!!
Food is always great. Service was very slow. Very. Will make me reconsider going.
The food here was fantastic!
We enjoyed everything we ordered.
The fire and ice ceviche and the pionono were especially delicious.
Everything was amazing! Everything.
Everything was delicious! I'm gluten free and they had lots of options. Our server and the rest of the staff was very knowledgeable of the allergy friendly options including the bread. They were also super friendly and attentive. The snapper ceviche was excellent. I had the roast pork and it melted in your mouth. The flavors were delicious. My boyfriend had the filet and it was one of the most tender steaks I've ever had. We would definitely dine again.
Great mojitos and martinis! I got the tuna entree and my significant other got the chicken entree. Both were delicious. Would recommend sitting outside!
Hostess took a while to seat us but other than that the experience was great.
An inventive and creative menu coupled with great service resulted in one of the best restaurant experiences we have had in a long time.
We sat on the patio which was beautiful! I had the salmon ceviche and the filet churrasco, both of which were delicious. The rolls are amazing too. Great experience!
Always great. Food and ambiance wonderful
Love the classic 50’s vibe of the space. Food was solid. Lobster empanada was outstanding. Cuban pork was great. Our waiter spaced out on our bread service and didn’t have an appropriate response to a food question at the table and had to send the manager over. Wasn’t attentive to the table and Forgot to bring the check and had to be reminded
Everything was outstanding. Had the Fire and Ice ceviche, lobster ceviche, red snapper, Cuban pork, chocolate cigar and the flan.
Service was exceptional. Get the Fire and Ice ceviche and the slow roasted pork, OMG!
We joined the Ola team on Thanksgiving and had an outstanding Cuban dinner ... the food, service and atmosphere was perfect for the holiday celebration as we just landed in MIA from Los Angeles at 5pm and then off to a wonderful dinner at 8pm!!! Thanks to the team working on Thanksgiving to take care of us so well. Make sure to have the “Short Rib Empanadas” and the “Roasted Pork” ... oh so wonderful!!!
Jackson and the whole team were wonderful. Great recommendations from an original menu. We will be back!
We booked Ola during a recent break in Miami Beach, having had it recommended to us by friends. The food was fabulous, the Fire and Ice Ceviche and the Deconstructed Key Lime Pie have to be tried. Great service from people who were knowledgeable and passionate about the menu. They also managed to find out it was my birthday! Stand out meal of the holiday, would definitely return.
Very nice restaurant. It has a warm and friendly vibe but feels upscale at the same time.
The food was delicious from first course to dessert.
I had the Lobster Ceviche to start. It was a wonderful blend of flavors. I especially appreciated the Tabasco sorbet.
The Octopus Chispas was good but the least successful dish of the evening. The plating and lack of significant octopus was a bummer. It came in a small bowl of sauce that was hard to navigate and appreciate all the flavors. It was still tasty. I am just used to luxurious, tender octopus and this was not that.
The Roast Cuban Pork was delightful and a perfect balance of flavors. The house-made pork cracklin on top was the highlight of the night. I could have eaten a whole pile of those.
Finishing the meal was a delicious Quatro Leches Dessert. It was not too sweet but certainly took care of my sweet tooth.
From the very warm greeting to the end of the meal was fantastic. I hope I get to dine here again in the not too distant future.
We went for lunch but should have done dinner like we usually do - they don't have meatballs or bread on the lunch menu which was disappointing.
I always go to ola when in Miami and it’s alwAys amazing .
The food and service first class all the way. Really enjoyed the entire experience.
The food is great Excellent vegan options. The service is the best
Ola always has great food and service. It's always on the list to places to eat when visiting Miami Beach
Good food - but not excellent. Cocktails not good. Smells like alkohol with water.
Wonderful food, very friendly staff and beautiful to sit outside.
Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Tolle Speisen, insbesondere die Los Ceviches waren phänomenal. Insgesamt empfehlenswert und einen Besuch wert.
Nice place for special evening
And celebrate anniversary
Vacation with my wife.
Best meal in South Beach
