Quality sushi at a great value! Service was attentive without being overbearing. It was fairly quiet for the city, but not uncomfortably so. We got a ton of food and drinks and spent just over a hundred dollars for two people. A lot of the specialty rolls with the fish that we liked had soy paper and we usually prefer seaweed, so next time will ask for that swap, but that's just a personal preference.
My cousin and I met at Okinii at 7 on a Wednesday night ... it was quiet and not crowded which was nice as we wanted to talk. We had spicy tuna roll and an avocado eel roll - both delicious. The hibachi beef entree was very good with tender meat. The shrimp and vegetable tempura was a bit disappointing - the shrimp was tasty but the veggies seemed soggy and we weren’t quite sure what they were. But overall we had a nice night - the service was friendly and prompt, and the prices reasonable. That is hard to find in Manhattan!!
Exceptionally good dinner!
A solid sushi choice with multiple choices including cucumber rolls!
Very fresh fish. Delicious pink lady roll. Warm restaurant environment. The service is good. It is worth recommending.
