   A hidden gem! Outstanding restaurant. Delicious fusion of Japanese and Italian cuisines. Visited twice and will return.

   Kevin was absolutely fantastic! Just the right amount of attentiveness and friendliness. Knowledgeable on the menu and fantastic with recommendations. It was a bit chilly at points in the restaurant but it's always a hard read on this time of the year in Vancouver so maybe bring a just-in-case scarf or comfortable light outerwear. We appreciated the ingredients used, the timing on our dishes was perfect and the presentation was great. The salmon skin handroll was the only thing that could use a bit more balance on the flavours where the sweetness was fighting for the spotlight with the savory. The drinks we had (Tainted Love and the first listed on the zero proof) were amazingly balanced too :) Thank you for a pleasant time Okini team!

   I called ahead to have some flowers placed on the table to celebrate my girlfriend & us becoming official - the whole team was so accommodating, the food was incredible, service was amazing, ambience was romantic and dimly lit - at the end of our meal they took our photo and left a nice message in there too. Whole experience was amazing, will definitely be going back!

   One of the best meals I’ve had in a while! Chefs signature Salmon Soba definitely worth a try and the best deal in the city for A5 wagyu. Service was friendly and efficient, great vibes all around.

   Found this restaurant by doing a quick search on line as we were laying over near YVR after some skiing in Whistler. The whole experience was wonderful for our group of 6. We were asked by our waitress if we minded eating family style by sharing various mains to which we said was fine. We left it to our waitress to bring us a variety of dishes that she would recommend. She did not disappoint. The food was wonderful with a variety of flavors and proteins and some vegetarian as well. The service was pleasant and attentive but not at all intrusive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was perfect for our group and we could easily chat amongst ourselves as the music level was appropriate for an enjoyable experience. We were so happy to have found this place and would highly recommend this restaurant for its high quality food, charming atmosphere and helpful staff.

   Food is excellent and the restaurant is a gem! We ordered the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, Yarrows Meadows Duck, Pork Tomahawk, and Black Sesame Chocolate Brownie.

   11/10 rating. Every dish was amazing. Wagyu beef carpaccio, salmon soba, sablefish and Vongole. Thank you so much for such the amazing service and unbelievable food. Can’t wait to go again.
