Great food, very fresh sushi. We tried the Nigiri sampler, Doban mushi which was amazing umami . Overall great experience while celebrating birthday.

Amazing, fresh fish, carefully prepared dishes, lots and lots of flavor! I came here for my birthday and they all signed a little card for me, which was such a lovely, thoughtful touch. Great value, too. Highly recommended.

service was good sashimi was fresh. but the sushi lacked flavor. all the sushi rolls we tried lacked flavor. the most important ingredient in sushi besides the fish is the rice. this restaurant forgot this very important fact. 👎

This was my first visit to Okaeri. I went there with an open mind, but the food wasn’t worth the price. There are other Japanese restaurants in the city where the quality is better for $60+ per person. We ordered Ala carte, since the $95 Omakase didn’t appeal to us. We tried a variety of dishes - hamachi truffle, spicy tuna roll, chicken karaage, shrimp tempura, chawamushi, and black cod. None of the dishes were unique or memorable. The service was also average. They were out of the hamachi Kama but didn’t offer a suitable alternative. There is only one restroom in the restaurant which has a waiting line. Just another drawback to this small neighborhood restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to any of my friends.
