We do like this place but, my fried chicken was overcooked and dry, her pulled pork poutine was oversalted. love the lavende-rita, my new favorite drink.

Came for Thanksgiving almost st the end of the evening, 8:00 so there was room inside and that was nice - cozy, rustic and casual dress which is what our family wanted that night. Good food and good service by friendly people who were still "on" after working the holiday and they made us feel very welcome. Food was good. Didn't know the turkey dinner would be buffet style but they did a good job keeping things hot and well-stocked. And a good value too.

Just can't recommend this Rest. Very disappointed with their Thanksgiving turkey meal. It looked like the turkey was from a deli. Each slice was exactly the same and placed in a hot pan. Very salty. And they gave you a dinner plate that was the size of a salad plate. Huh? It was a buffet so you could go back. But boy was it bad. The dessert pumpkin pie had to have been frozen pies like you would get at a grocery store. Terrible. Even with the small plates we couldn't go back to fill up. So Friday we went to Marie Calendars and had a really good turkey meal. Wasted $109.00. I'm not complaining about the service or the employees. They were good.

We had a great thanksgiving family dinner here. The food and service were great. Thanks to the Deer Lodge staff for providing a wonderful holiday meal.

Nice place to visit, food was good, service was nice, but t hey forgot about us for a long time, probably would have ordered more drinks if they came around a second time. By the time they did come around we were ready to go.

Dinner was fantastic! Under new ownership and the menu was great. Almost everything is now farm to table. Excellent ambiance. Service was also good -- so much better than it used to be with the old ownership. Must try!
