Our server was a little slow in taking our order and she forgot to bring out food for my friend and didn't have it until the end of the meal. That being said the food was amazing and a great value.

Oishii is always a solid choice. Had a food allergy at the table, and they were on it- didn't have to worry about it all night, no matter what was ordered. Sushi was perfect and timely.

I went to Oishii-SMU by myself. I was given a table that wasn't in good shape. Server wasn't kind at all and brought me the bill when I was still working on my plate. Food was really good. And the place was very noisy. I would come back, but only because of the food!!

Made a reservation a week out for our special party - only to arrive and find the wait for ordering sushi would be an hour! Decided to stay an order Shaking Beef (dry and not flavorful) Kung Pao Chicken (so-so) and Pho (decent). All arrived super quick and dumped on the table. Waitress ended up behind bar and deserted us. Looked for the manager several times to discuss and he was fielding questions all over and serving food. Likely won't be back. Food meh. Service meh and once they sat the woman with the long ponytail up against our table where she shook it out multiple times...well..enough.

The hosted sat us right next to the door. Why make a reservation if you get treated like a walk in. Hosted was rude when we asked to change tables.

Phenomenal service and food! Have a bad shellfish allergy and between the manager and sushi chefs I was totally cared for and safe! Really appreciated being able to have great sushi 🍣 and they didn’t disappoint. Loved the atmosphere and the Queen Bee too!

This is usually our favorite sushi spo that we go to for dinner wi TV excellent service.. We came for lunch and ate at the sushi bar. There wasn’t a waiter assigned to us so we would have to ask for everything (more water, place our order, get our check, more ginger/ wasabi, ect.)Definitely won’t sit at the bar next lunch time.

Food brings me back. The wait staff excellent. The greeting staff continue to disappoint. The wait even with reservation is 30 mins or more. The wait and lack of coordination is consistently poor. This is 3rd time and some friends will not meet us here because of recent experiences. Hope management can resolve as the original Oishii on Wycliff does NOT have the same problem.

This restaurant and the staff are absolutely stellar. Josh in particular is a phenomenal waiter and provides a definite 10/10 experience every single time my girlfriend and I have went over the past year. Rolls: Caesar, 44, Flower, Royce, Donut, Himalayan, 45. Easily the best sushi in Dallas. Thank me later and stop wasting your money elsewhere!

Have been loyal customer since opening. The service at entry and getting seated has become extremely disappointing if not down right rude. I have been told ridiculously bad excuses. The food is still awesome. The management is non existent. Really sad to see good place mismanaged. OpenTable is a joke to get seated.

I wouldn’t qualify the noise level as “energetic.” The noise level really took away from the overall experience as we had to shout at each other to hear. Turn the music down so the guests are not competing with each other and the music which will only drive the noise up. Our waitress joked awkwardly about it as she found it hard to hear our order.
