One Michelin starred OIJI MI offers a creative contemporary Korean dining experience composed uniquely for NYC.

Helmed by Owner and Executive Chef Brian Kim, OIJI MI is the culmination of Chef Kim’s longtime passion to bring a new level of traditional flavors and inherently Korean dishes, and reinterpreting them into a modern culinary experience.

OIJI MI offers a 5 course Prix-Fixe menu priced at $150 per person in the Main Dining Room. A la carte menu is offered in the Lounge & Bar.

We accept reservations for the Main Dining Room and Lounge. Limited reservations are taken for the Bar, we save the majority of seats for walk-ins, first come/first serve basis.

Unfortunately, severe dietary restrictions or allergies (vegan, vegetarian, celiac, gluten, dairy, seafood or shellfish) will drastically limit the options offered. We are not able to accommodate allium allergies.

Van de OpenTable-redactie: Chef Brian Kim originally opened Oiji in 2015 before leveling up with Oiji Mi in 2022 and leaning into modern and upscale Korean fare. The stunning dining room serves up lantern-style lamps and lattice-inspired walls, an elegant setting for the luxurious five-course prix-fixe menu. Don’t miss the namesake Oiji bowl arrayed with briny urchin and sweet prawn, lobster ramyun twirled with cool noodles, or soju cocktails in creative flavors, which all helped the restaurant earn a MICHELIN Star and a James Beard semifinalist nod for the chef.

The five-course tasting menu at Oiji Mi was superb, offering an excellent variety of choices that made for a highly recommended dining experience. Each dish was flavorful without being overpowering, with beautifully balanced textures and presentation. The service stood out, attentive, gracious, and accommodating, even with a few late arrivals in our party. Staff also intuitively read the table's pace and energy, enhancing the flow of the meal. The ambiance was charming, full but never crowded, though slightly dim evening lighting made menu reading a bit tricky for older eyes! Overall, an outstanding experience.

Phenomenal experience. Food was outstanding and the service unmatched. Will definitely be returning. One of the best meals I’ve ever had.

The food and service were superb. We did the prefix menu and it was absolutely delicious. Every bite was better than the prior one. It is a very nice atmosphere with excellent service.

Lived up to expectations! Service was on point. Food was beautiful and delicious. Loved the mushroom custard, uni bowl and duck. Hreat desert!
