    We have 3 x booths that sit groups of 5-7 people. We will generally give these to the first groups that book of this size, this option is only for customers that would like to GUARANTEE a booth. If you would like to gaurantee a booth any night of the week you can do so by paying $50 per person in advance to your visit. This amount will be added as a credit to your bill so the final cost is zero. If you prefer not to guarantee a booth and roll the dice, use the booking option below and we will do our best to accommodate you. Thanks + happy dining

    We invite all groups of 9+ to dine on our omakase menu - this option is for the standard omakase. This menu allows larger groups to dine smoothly "izakaya style" (small shared plates) also showcasing some of our favourite items. It is designed to be light and great value, allowing large groups to gather in our venue at reasonable cost and add sushi, sashimi or other faves. The standard omakase consists of the following dishes to share - miso soup, plain edamame, pork gyoza, karaage chicken , yakitori (1 skewer of each pp) – pumpkin + salmon.                                                                                         Oi Izakaya is always a great place to take family and friends to share in some lovely Japanese fare and a couple of beers. The staff are friendly and helpful and we just love the food

                                                                                        I paid a $300 deposit for our daughters birthday (we wanted the booth). First impressions were great, love the artwork everywhere, very kitsch. Service was slow (not just the kitchen which you kinda get at an Izakaya) drinks were slow. Waiter didn't interact much at all. No mention of the birthday I'd booked for. Food was tasty, but have had better value at other Japanese resturants in Burleigh. Overall, it left us with a bit of a 'meh' feeling. It was nice, but .... Won't be in a hurry to go back. All the staff looked like they had better places to be; no descriptions of the food being served, dirty dishes & glasses were left on the table far too long. It was a Sunday, not exactly pumping; plenty of empty tables.
