My wife and I had a great time going out to dinner at your restaurant. It was our first time dining at your establishment and it was exceptional. It had the food quality of a 5-star restaurant on the las vegas strip and very friendly staff. We very much liked how the manager (we think maybe the owner of the restaurant) came over and asked us about the food and our experience thus far. Gave it a more personal feeling that you miss out on when you go to larger restaurants/chains.
Very cozy very FRENCH except their prices! Very budget friendly! Unusual for a French eatery.
Service was excellent. Hend was very attentive and very aware of the menu. She makes the place even more enjoyable.
This is much like a small FRENCH neighborhood place you would expect to find in a small village in southern France.
Highly recommend you give this place a try.
Mediocre food. Don’t recommend. Escargot was dry and tough. Nothing exciting here.
Fabulous evening. Owner extremely helpful and fun to talk with. Will go back again - frequently!
We went to celebrate my birthday. Frog legs were one of the specials. It was an appetizer and we asked if they could make it an entree. The waitress said no. As it turned out the appetizer size was plenty. They were delicious. We also had the baked Brie. If the waitress had been more helpful we would have probably ordered some sides. For dessert we had tiramisu. It was just average. Although I had said on the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday there was no recognition of it by the restaurant.
Amazing food! Amazing staff!!! And I’m told you might see a Golden Knight...just sayin
We came here before to celebrate an anniversary last year and raved about this restaurant to family and friends. We came back with friends from VA who spent a lot of time in Paris and she too raved about how authentic and delicious the food was. This time we came back to celebrate a birthday. There were 3 orders of the sole which was good but on the dry side and not as moist as the first time. The potatoes that came with the meal were on the puny and dry side. My brother in-law ordered the french onion soup and it barely had enough soup in his bowl. I ordered the filet of beef and it was good and tender. The service was excellent
Nice, quiet and attractive dining room. Good wine selection and nice appetizers.
Great local find. I find their prices very reasonable. They take good care of you. I will be back!
My wife and I enjoyed another fine meal at Ohlala French Bistro earlier this week. The dishes included French onion soup (excellent, as usual), escargot (good, but could use a bit more salt), beef tartare -- as an additional appetizer (also good, though perhaps a little too "mustardy" for some), sole meuniere (also excellent), duck confit (a special that night -- very good, but could have used additional accompanying sauce as the meat was a bit dry), and, for dessert, chocolat liegeios (delicious and unique). For wine, we had a bottle of Taittinger (brut) champagne (dry, yet fruity, and and an exception buy at only $67).
Frankly, Ohlala is the finest value of any French restaurant in the entire Las Vegas valley, and it never disappoints!
The pasta was way under cooked and had very little salmon. However, the sole my wife and guests had was not bad.
Very pleasant evening. Will definitely go again.
Excellent service, food and ambiance. Made reservations, and seated right upon arrival. It was a Saturday night, and the restaurant was quite busy. Excellent server explained the menu and that nights specials. Never a rushed service, great selection of wine. Manager (Owner) visited table several times to check on us. Food and value for money was great. This is a hidden Gem in Summerlin, and I will defiantly be for both Dinner, and to try out Sunday Brunch.
Went for Valentine’s Day with the prix fixe menu. It was surprisingly delicious! Scallops were buttery with a great sear. The duck was moist and flavorful. And the filet mug on was surprisingly very tasty. Great service also. Will definitely return to try the regular menu. Would highly recommend.
Great food, great ambiance, great hosts
Lovely restaurant! Great find!
The first time we came to Ohlala, we loved it. This was our second visit and it did not match up. Our appetizer of warm goat cheese was wonderful, but unfortunately, the entrees took a long time, over 40 minutes (thankfully we had the appetizer). 3 of the 4 dishes were not hot, we sent 2 back for reheating. The chef did come out to our table and asked how things were. Possibly they were understaffed, not sure, but we arrived about 5:05 p.m. were late for our 7 pm after dinner plans. Would I recommend it, possibly, but with the knowledge of what to possibly expect.
restaurant looks like it used to be a donut shop. however the food is very very good traditional French style food & wine . service very friendly almost family style. we look forward to going there again.
Outstanding as always! I especially love the duck...Jane way they cook it!!! Just sayin...
Formidable: "OhLaLa has a charming atmosphere, superb cuisine at affordable prices and a lack of pretense.
The friendly staff always makes me feel special.
Top of my list of places to dine in Las Vegas.
I have been to Ohlala many times and even hosted a birthday party there. I have never been disappointed although I don't order the onion soup as too thin and I prefer it with caramelized onions. The other evening I had a Ohlala sole attack and grabbed my visiting daughter and we had a wonderful meal. Leftovers were a marvelous breakfast.
This was my second visit to Ohlala, the first time was for lunch which was delightful also. I choose Ohlala for my husband's Birthday because we spent great moments in Paris years ago. The music piped in music worked well, we went early on Superbowl Sunday and had the place to ourselves for 45 minutes. We had a wonderful, attentive waitress. The food was wonderful from onion soup, to escargot, to the Sole entre that we each chose. The desert I ordered had a candle and two spoons. It was a triple sorbet and it was huge. I couldn't finish it and he doesn't do desert...we will return.
The small drawback was that about 45 minutes into our quiet repast, a very loud foursome came in...in the hollow of the room, the loudness caught us off guard until they got something to eat.
We were delighted with our evening. My suggested glass of wine was wonderful.
We've been to Ohlala on 2 other occasions and each time the menu, food and experience is great. The staff is super nice and makes you feel at home.
Ambiance was nice, service was good, but escargot was only warm, it is preferred hot. Overall food was bland including desert. Seats are not very comfortable, too low. My knees ached while sitting for dinner.
Mussels had way too much garlic. Server was nice but her explanation was lame: “Well, it needs SOME flavor!” Maybe she doesn’t like mussels, but I could smell the garlic across the table. It overwhelmed the wine, the shallots, the herbs, the butter, and certainly the mussels which, themselves, were properly cooked. My flank steak was cooked to the proper temperature internally (rare) but the outside was gray and the meat tougher than it should have been. My guess is that the grilling surface was way too cool for the application. Instead of having a seared and sealed steak with good caramelization I had something that looked like it had been steamed. The French fries were really great. The green salad was good.
Our food was very good and they made sure that Latex wasn't used as I have an allergy to it. The only thing is not much for appetizers we had the duck pate which was good but I feel a little overpriced at 18. That was the only bad thing. Also it was a little hard getting in and out of the booth as not much room. But overall it was good as we were celebrating our 29th anniversary. That is one thing that was dissappointing as alot of places give you like a desert on your anniversary for free.
Ohlala is a wonderful, quaint French restaurant (with some Italian fare as well).
The food is amazing and the service friendly and attentive. It is much less expensive than equivalent or worse food and service on the Strip.
We were so disappointed having heard good things about the restaurant. The French onion soup was cold although the handle on the bowl was HOT! The steak tartare was served without the egg yolk. And the sole meuniere was greasy and overcooked. We had tried the restaurant when it first opened and found it lacking but attributed it to having "just opened". We gave it another chance after hearing good things but we will not be going back.
We visit LV twice a year and look for restaurants away from the strip to dine. Oh La La is such a quaint and fabulous place. The food was authentic and flavorful. Escargot, Arugula Salad with Goat Cheese, Charcuterie and Croque Madam all incredible. The owner greeted us and took our order. Very pleasant and kind.
He waited on a table next to us that would have tested my patience, but he was composed and kind the entire time, offering samples of 3 different wines, only to sell 1 bottle. Pure class.
Thank you for an enjoyable lunch! We will be back!
Delicious little gem tucked away in a small shopping center. Great service, great food, one tiny dining room, perfect for an intimate date night.
We were in Vegas for a conference and wanted to get away from the Vegas Strip and took Uber to this quaint French Bistro. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and pampered. The food was fantastic and such a relief to be away frm the hustle and bustle. We will be back on our next visit with a group!
Excellent service and consistently delicious food!
The service was great and the food was fantastic. I had foie gras, steak tartar and mussels. I will definitely go back and next time invite some friends along.
Some hits and misses! The sole meunière was fabulous. The muscles had a Strange sweetness to them. they sat us by the door, and wouldn’t you know it was a stormy nite with rain, and they probably should have offered to move us.also, the endive salad was wonderful!. Reasonable prices too! The owners were very sincere.
Great night out with friends!!! Best French food in town!!!
We really enjoy Ohlala. Service is absolutely excellent. Frites to die for. Our favorites: mussels, cheese board, pate & tartare. Good wine selection, California & French $40-100.
What a find! Far away from the Strip, but worth the trip. Uber it. Taxi too $$. Excellent service and French food. Reasonable $. Great wine pours. No regrets.
This was the first time having dinner at OohLaLa. It is a small restaurant but they made good use of the space and you didn’t feel like you were sitting on top of each other. We both ordered the onion soup and it was delicious. My main dish was their version of shepherds pie and it was very good. The prices are very reasonable and we will definitely be back.
Everything as usual-table waiting as reserved, excellent server who knew the menu items. Her service was timely without any rush. Dinners were served hot and well presented. Server provided new utensils after appetizer and cleaned table of crumbs-nice touch. All dinners were enjoyed, but the Sole was special-perfectly cooked with a divine sauce. Free coupon for dessert which split for the four of us was just right to complete the meal. Sorry that the coupon has been deleted in the January Sun City Magazine. Really don't need desert after such a wonderful meal- but a nice touch.
Food was served hot to the table and Owner came by to ask about the service level
