    It was great! I just wish we could have walked around the gardens. A little disappointed. Purposely, selected a weekday lunch thinking no weddings or events would be an issue, but there was a professional photo shoot going on so we were not allowed to tour the grounds. Maybe next time.

    The ambiance in the outdoor terrace is beautiful, especially when the weather is cooperating. We had an amazing primary server who went above an beyond but I do not this is not the norm as this wasn’t the case for other members of the team. The server who cleared the table forgot to pack up an order we placed for takeaway (despite charging us), and a separate service forgot to bring out a side dish we ordered despite charging us for it. So service is hit or miss. The food is grossly overpriced but edible. I think this place is great for a novelty experience but not something I would come back to regularly. For a party of 3 out bill was $315 for lunch (this includes 3 brunch cocktails).

    My family and I came here to celebrate my birthday. We were expecting to order from the lunch menu but it wasn't available. Our meals were delicious and a fair price. The view from the balcony was the best. Service was exceptional.

    Always a lovely experience. Made lunch reservations for 12:30. There was line when we got there, which is unusual but was told a tour just ended and people were staying for lunch. Couldn't sit outside because seats were still wet from morning rain. Husband had salmon, and although he cooks it at home and loves it, he RAVED about it here. Said the sauce was to die for, very subtle but delicious. I had shrimp tacos, huge and delicious. Passion drink, non-alcoholic and it was delicious. Gary, as usual, stopped by to thank us for coming. Had a nice little chat. Went with another couple, first time eating there and they enjoyed it very much.

    Oheka Castle - whew! I thank the owner for saving it! What a life-changing experience to walk around the interior and the grounds. The food was excellent! The chef knows what they are doing - especially with the desserts. All three of us in my party thought the wait staff, food and desserts were all excellent. I live in Northern Virginia but hope to come back to Oheka soon. Thank you again for a very memorable experience.

    Limited menu and not very good. Expected more. Could it go on grounds or castle because of other events going on. Felt like the restaurant was just stuck in a hallway and not in a castle. Expected more of an experience.

    environment setting is unique and awesome, main reason we went there was to see the inside of the entire castle but could only know at the scene that other than restaurant, rest place was rented out for a private wedding party, thus, closed to the public, unfortunately. hope that when have a similar situation, restaurant should make a note to the people like us, add one more option: "castle touring available or not today"

    Brunch items are hard to muck up to begin with but the quiche wasn’t cooked all the way thru in the middle and the hash browns tasted like they were 5 days old and just tossed onto the plate, didn’t even bother reheating. French toast was decent and the cinnamon roll cocktail. As for the ambiance, you’d expect a certain level service but it was also lacking due to them hiring a bunch of college kids for the summer. Highly doubt dinner is any better. If I were you, skip the meals all together and come for drinks

    Very warm in dining room. Asked to make it cooler to no avail. Lobster risotto was lukewarm as was the bronzino. Anthony, who wasn’t endnote our server, heard it was our 39th anniversary and came over and congratulated us.

    Unfortunately the acoustics in the room is loud for easy conversation, but décor and window views are lovely. For whatever reason, at lunch time, tables are only set with a knife and diner fork. We had to ask for a salad fork and a spoon to use with a spaghettis entre. For the price point, one would expect some type of appropriate bread with the meal, this was not offered or available. These are relatively minor compared to the otherwise very enjoyable lunch.

    My husband and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary here. Everything was AMAZING (the servers, ambiance, food etc) until we were about to end our night, my infant (screamed with glee for a short second ) and Tucker’s snide remark immediately ruined our entire evening. As much as I would love to return (the owner was very sweet by the way ) however, it’s rather rude to cover your ears and beckon to me that others are dining. Was I not dining as well or was my food free?! Not many people were left in the dining area at this point and all the patrons from earlier had zero issues with my babies as they all complimented how good they were, smiled , waved etc at them. If this restaurant isn’t kid friendly, please go ahead & make that clear. I could’ve understood if my kids were tearing the place apart & being a menace, however that was NOT the case here.

    Food took a long time, several tables of 2 (like us) which were seated after us were served before us. Finally got the entrees and they were barely warm. Pasta dish was not good. Waiter was great though Kitchen staff needs help. Much too expensive for this kind of experience. Would not go back except for drinks and to enjoy the location

    The drive up and the grounds are stunningly beautiful. The food and drink quality was good, no problem was there was nowhere near enough of it. At the prices they are charging(entries $40-70), there is no excuse for this. No bread with dinner unless you paid for the "bread and fondue appetizer." The duck entrée was a small duck breast and a portion of broccolini the size of 2 fingers. No potato, rice, or other starch was offered. I was about what happened to the celery root puree the menu stated, but I did not see the server again until it was time to sell me dessert. My wife's salmon was a similar size portion with only a small portion of broccoli. I recommend going for the atmosphere, but do not walk in hungry. If you do, you will walk out hungry.

    Our waitress Kim was top notch. She gave us the history of the castle. She even introduced us to the owner Gary. Super nice man. This wasn't just a dinner. It was an experience. We will definitely be back.

    The Oheka Castle is beautiful. But we ordered the seafood salad. It was really small. It was $29 and it was an appetizer portion. We were starving and had to order a portion of bread which they charged us for. Very very skimpy on their portions. Was not happy.

    The food and service were good. We enjoyed our meal. The prices were fair. It is definitely worth a trip. We stayed the night in the Castle! It was a beautiful location!! So amazing and beautiful- right here on Long Island. It was charming with so much to look at and see. The grounds and rooms are amazing and you are allowed to walk around. We will be back!

    It was our first time there and went for our anniversary, absolutely stunning castle. Food was excellent and the cocktails were spot on. After dinner went for a walk around and was even more impressed with how the grounds are maintained. Even got to meet Gary the owner, such a nice experience overall.

    We have been dying to go to Oheka Castle and the OHK restaurant didn’t disappoint. Everything was perfect from the minute we arrived. The service and food was amazing. The service was spectacular, every need was taken care of. We had the charred octopus and baked clams oreganata appetizers. The baked clams was the best I ever had. Followed by the butterflied baked Branzino and pan roasted duck which was also delicious. Lastly we had the apple tart, profiteroles, English breakfast tea and double espresso again was incredibly delicious. Come here if you want to experience a fabulous evening for both yourself and your palates. Absolutely an incredible experience.
