Stayed at OHEKA for two nights and ate at the restaurant on our second night. Shared tuna tartare app., which was prepared perfectly. My wife had the shrimp and lobster and loved it. I had the duck, and must say it was one of the best duck dishes I've ever had. Service was top notch, and Gary the owner stopped at our table to chat with us. Overall a very pleasant dining experience. We'll be back.
Nice lunch for a family of 4, 3 of which are vegetarians and the chef made some suggestions when emailed prior to our visit. The food was delicious and the owner of the castle greeted every table and welcomed you to his home.
We had a great time as usual. It was the first time we brought the kids and they loved it as well.
I brought my friend here to thank her for being such a great friend. Neither of us had ever been to OHEKA before but I had heard about it from someone whose daughter had had her wedding in the castle. She could not stop talking about how everything was perfect and amazing. She spoke the truth. We enjoyed the castle tour followed by lunch in the restaurant. I normally don't like to recommend things to people because everyone has different taste but I cannot imagine anyone not loving this place. It's fantastic! We even got to meet the famous hero, Gary the builder, without whom none of this would have been possible.
Totally in awe at the history and elegance of this place. A must go date for any couple.
Can’t say enough good things about this place. Best damn crab cakes i have ever had. My wife and I were married here and continue to come for date nights. The service is excellent and the staff very friendly. The menu is constantly changing so I try new things each time I come, and I can honestly say I have yet to get a dish I did not finish. Looking forward to my next visit.
Felt transported to another world once you enter the grounds. Tuna tartare was fresh and portion size was generous. My pisco signature drink was beautiful and refreshing. The swordfish tasted great but it could have been a tad bigger. Jasmine rice needs improvement. Baby bock Choi was perfectly steamed. Had the bananas foster for dessert which is big enough for two. I also liked the fact that we didn't feel rushed. Wait staff kept us well serviced without being annoying
We were sat quickly and the service was excellent the entire meal. Good had a lovely presentation and was fresh and tasty. Desert was delish! The owner Gary a Melius came through and greeted everyone which was a nice touch.
Beautiful setting and excellent service !
Had a wonderful anniversary dinner
Staff was very attentive
Food was delicious
My boyfriend and I enjoyed a very nice meal for (belated) Valentine’s Day. The food was delicious, the tables and ambiance was very pleasant. The price was more expensive than I would normally spend on a good meal but we had a gift card. The castle inside was a little underwhelming but the grounds are beautiful.
Amazing place and great service (MJ was our waitress and she gave us a history of the place besides incredible service) - would absolutely go back... soon!
Definitely worth the drive! Cozy & welcoming with great food & atmosphere!
We had a fabulous lunch here! Loved everything we ordered, and can't wait to come back to try other menu items that we were too full to try. Bummed that at only 130 they were out of the bananas foster dessert. Gabby, our server, was too notch - a real pleasure!
great up scale place, dress up style, great staff , even met the owner
Food and service were fine but ambiance lacking especially for Valentine’s Day . No flowers anywhere or lighting outside of castle . Expected more especially with the cost and potential of the castles natural beauty. Very disappointing
Everything was fantastic from the greeting all the way through dinner!
Michael was our server and he has obviously been trained in fine dining and
explained the menu and special in detail. They served a special break with dipping gorgonzola cheese sauce which was to die for. They realized we loved it so much and dropped another serving on our table. The food was excellent and my filet mignon
was cooked to perfection. All the dishes were spot on and it was obvious the chef paid particular attention to detail. To top it off we had the Giant Chocolate Cake for dessert! Michael truly wouldn't let us leave until we finished it (which we didn't). The cake was fantastic and we weren't rushed and enjoyed our entire dinner. Thanks to the entire staff for being so friendly and allowing us to enjoy a beautiful romantic Valentines Day dinner!

It was Valentine’s Day for me and my girlfriend and the waiters were so friendly and polite. The environment was the best and we even got to meet the owner of the castle. It was a fantastic night a night to remember. Me and my girlfriend will surely be coming back. And the dessert was even better. The best place for a romantic time.
This place is amazing and the service is top notch .
Food was great and service was perfect. Very enjoyable Valentine's Day.
Everything about the experience was absolutely phenomenal
Great sized portions and priced very adequately
This was our first time after many years of hearing about it and seeing it as a choice on Open Table We decided to try for our Valentine’s dinner. The drive in approach is an experience in itself - the feeling of going to a special hidden place down a tree lined road through an arched opening and entering a cobble stone courtyard. The dining room with the wood beams and tall windows is lovely. Will have to come back when the days are longer to be able to appreciate the views out the windows. The service was very attentive especially meeting the owner welcoming you to his home. We had the appetizer specials Portuguese style clams and the fried burrata and artichoke salad was large enough to be an entree. The salad dressing delicious however we found the breading coating on the artichoke and burrata a bit too heavy. The clams in the Portuguese style broth excellent.
We both had the Striped Bass Siciliano from the standard menu - covered with shell fish and a deliciously rich red sauce Oh forgot to mention the toasty bread with a creamy cheese sauce for dipping. Needless to say we thought we were too full for dessert but after looking at the menu decided to share the chocolate pecans torte - worth the calories This will be memorable Valentine’s Day dinner and plan to return.
The restaurant at Oheka is like a fairytale come true. I took my wife for an early Valentine's day dinner. We had a spectacular time. The food and the service was flawless. A well managed restaurant. Can't wait to go back.
We were celebrating Valentine's Day, but when the owner stopped by our table he seemed annoyed by us holding hands.
You need to stay at a castle and have a meal .
Get the steak and say hi to the owner Gary.
It was our first time here. We had a very nice time. It was low key but we enjoyed the serenity. We sat at the bar and had a glass of wine. We were seated for dinner right away. Attentive service. We both had an appetizer and an entree and then shared a dessert. Food was delicious and well played and displayed. I would recommend it. The only thing I would have enjoyed more would be some live music (piano player or a singer)
We stayed at the castle for the weekend and had dinner one night. The food and drinks were amazing. The restaurant is so pretty and great views of the grounds.
The food is amazing--beautiful, romantic place to go on a date
This was a special meal for a special evening. Not only was the food outstanding, but everyone at Oheka went out of their way to make this a very memorable visit.
