    Soda was flat. Asked for a new one and it was fat as well. Kiddy cocktail has a small amount of grenadine. Food was room temperature warm. Server rarely checked in. Don’t plan to dine here again.

    Our server was very nice and we liked the burrata. The entrees however, were disappointing, especially for the price. I got the steak frites, the steak had no flavor and was tough, and the fries were supposedly garlic fries but didn’t taste like garlic at all. They looked very cheap. I also was not given a steak knife. was not worth $36.

    Loved the atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly and helpful! Food was incredibly flavorful, good value for the main dishes. Dessert was meh - $10 for a square of dry confetti cake that tasted like a box mix. Overall would come back, but skip the dessert.

    Wonderful experience - attentive staff, great food, and great ambiance. They were out of two different items on the menu but it was later in the evening, and we’ll be back so not a huge deal.

    Very nice family meal. We had the wings and Korean bbq ribs. Both great but wings very small. As mains we had schnitzel gnocchi salmon whitefish and a burger. All very good. We had some Prosecco and some drinks. The desserts were also good. Tried the Campari martini for dessert. The service was very good and the flow of meal was great. Thanks Oggie’s!

    I found it strange that I was served my main dish (brown butter gnocchi) on a glass salad plate… Gnocchi tasted good. However the same glass plate was used for our desserts. We would never order the blueberry cheesecake or confetti cake again. Service was just mediocre.

    I booked last minute for dinner while on a quick trip to Milwaukee with a few colleagues. We were seated immediately, a slower Monday evening, the waiter greeted us quickly and water and menus came shortly after. Cheese curds with fresh dill sauces were amazing, garlic bread was the best we had ever had, warm and cheesy with a lot of garlic and butter. I got The Fred Burger, extremely good, and one of the top 5 burgers I have had anywhere. One of my coworkers got the salmon, she loved the salmon, but the succotash was on the spicy side. Another coworker got the white fish, and she said it was good but nothing special. I had the blueberry cream cheese tart, but I would skip it next time, it was underwhelming. Great location, easy to get to on walking from the Westin, I will recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced dinner in Milwaukee.

    Had a pre concert dinner and service was very prompt and thoughtful. Our server, Sophie M, was attentive and cheerful. Food was very good, and can’t beat half price bottles of wine! Will certainly try this restaurant again for pre theatre or happy hour drinks and apps.

    Huge disappointment. Perhaps they were having a bad night, but oh boy... First, the night started with the waitress spilling water all over the table and taking a while to clean things up and bring new menus. We waited a while to get our drinks, no straws were offered. We waited an hour to get our appetizers and she brought the wrong ones. We ended up keeping them so we would not have to wait even longer. Next, we wait another hour for our dinner to come in and the steak was rare (we asked for it well done). The waitress took a while to come back to the table for us to be able to send the steak back to cook it further. They took so long that, everyone else was done eating their meals before they brought the steak back. The chicken nuggets ordered for my son were clearly frozen dinosaur nuggets from a box. The desserts were just terrible - we ordered the Confetti Cake and Blueberry Cheesecake Tart. The cake was so dry and almost felt freezer burnt. The blueberries over the Cheesecake tart appeared old and dehydrated and the tart itself tasted so terrible we couldn't get past the first bite. We again had to wait a long time to get our bill. All our waitress had to say about it was "sorry I could not give you my undivided attention, another table kept me busy". The place was not that busy, and we were the second table that night (our reservation was 6:30pm). Perhaps this was just a bad night, new waitress, etc...but meals were not great either. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this place.

    Really excellent food and drinks and the service was perfect. I highly recommend the Kong Pao Barbecue Pork Ribs and Zucchini Fritters. My husband had the vegan chicken sandwich and that was excellent as well. Fast service, a great place to stop on the way to the theatre.

    Outstanding ambiance, sadly the lunchtime fare was only so-so. (the Fries were very good, crunchy and moist) Although pricy, the menu was small, and lacking in non-sandwich, seafood options. A burger ordered medium rare arrived closer to well done. The noise level was low, allowing the 4 of us to have a good conversation, we did not feel hurried.

    I had great service and enjoyed the quietness and atmosphere. My potatoes and asparagus were amazing and the steak was exactly the temperature asked for. The steak could have used a little more flavor but the zip sauce which I didn’t use much of helped provide flavor

    We parked near restaurant because it was close to Papst Theater. Our waiter was fun. Suggested his favorite dishes and we were very impressed.

    Great service and even paid attention that it was our anniversary through the open table reservation! Food was good, not over the top but we enjoyed two appetizers and split an entree.

    Alathea provided excellent service and that made our anniversary dinner fun. Our appetizer, the bruschetta, was very good but our main course was the pork schnitzel and that was dry and over-cooked and the green bean side was minimal, barely there. Drinks were very good, wine was fine. We would return but would stick to the appetizers and we might return to try the brunch.

    The food was great. We shared all of the apps at our table except for the Octopus. Drinks were mostly ok, a couple were not good. The service was terribly slow.

    My husband and I came here out of the blue for a last minute dinner date and the food was delicious! We had the garlic bread, octupus and bbq spare ribs for appetizers, they were all good, especially the ribs were out of this world. We ordered the burger which was also great and they have some fun drinks, my husband had the chicken and waffle old fashioned and I had the amethyst sour and sour patch kids martini, also very yummy. We were pleasantly surprised by this place and we highly recommend it.

    We had a very good time at dinner here. I personally felt the photos online were slightly deceiving, but it was still a very nice place. I assumed it was larger for some reason. The food was amazing and the staff was pleasant. The place was not very busy at all which was very peaceful and cozy. My date and I enjoyed our romantic evening very much. Thank you for the amazing time

    Great visit to Hotel Metro it has been too long. Brunch menu was fantastic. Specials were so yummy and a large variety of drinks. Service was 5 stars and the manager was kind and enthusiastic. Prices were very competitive.

    We had a lovely dinner at Oggie’s. Everyone’s food was unique and delicious, as were the drinks that we ordered. The wait staff was attentive to our needs and our food arrived in a timely manner. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

    We weren't given the Happy hour menu and didn't know about it until we saw one at the table next to us an hour later. Our server was not attentive. The food was subpar for the price. Overall, would not recommend.

    Will be back solely for the amazing garlic bread. We were lured in by the chicken-and-waffle drink, and tried the bruschetta. Both great attempts at looking fancy, but overall meh. The garlic bread, though!!! Seriously amazing.

    Very pretty restaurant with great service. The walleye is pretty good. The only problem was that the heat was on and it was 85 degrees outside which made it almost unbearably hot inside. On a normal day, it would be a lovely dining experience.

    It was extremely hot because the ac wasn’t working. It was hard to enjoy the meal - which was mediocre as well. However our server was great.
