   This place is a sad paean to failed gentrification, attempting to set up a moderately upscale eatery with no understanding of how such restaurants work, and lacking any traffic from a historically distressed neighborhood. The waiter was either epically stupid or incredibly absent minded, and forgot about us (the ONLY GUESTS) three times before being shocked to see two people sitting in the ONLY occupied table. The staff were more focused on discussing their miserable attempts at getting drunk and getting laid than in performing their jobs. We will be glad when this abomination shuts down.

   The restaurant was closed and dark when I got there, 15 minutes before our reservation. No sign on the door showing why it was closed or hours of operation. Is this not something that Open Table would know? Why was it shown as open on your site? This was a Wednesday night at 8:15. I got a confirmation for our reservation (as per usual) from your site but nothing from Off the Hook. Please check your client and see why they are not open when you say they are. Very disappointing to be standing on the street in the cold having looked forward to a fish dinner.

   Amazing spot for fish and chips. They have a large gluten-free menu and many vegetarian/vegan options.

   I had such a wonderful dinner and evening at 'Off the Hook' - delicious fish, great house wine and atmospheric ambiance - prepared with professional skill and served with thoughtful kindness.

   Very disappointing. We've read lots of great reviews but our experience was not the same. The restaurant was cold, food was lukewarm, and a number of the beers, altho listed on the board, were not available.

   I’m not a reviewer but this spot deserves it // I booked this place because I was craving fish & chips - it exceeded all expectations from entrance to exit. The halibut, the fries, the ceasar, wings, brussels - I couldn’t contain myself. Will be coming back. Nothing like a little gem you stumble upon. If you’re looking for good food and good service without the BS you’ve found what you’re looking for.

    Great!! Cute and cozy place with great food that is customizable to your likings! something to eat (& drink) for everyone! Super nice staff and easy parking out front! Will be back soon:)
