   En general fue buena la comida estubo muy bien el lugar e Alonso para una cita romántica 🥰 pero el servicio es malo ya que son lentos tardan mucho en atendernos. En traer las bebidas la comida y aún más incomodo que trajo la cubeta y nunca regresó después de 15 min esperando tuve que ir hasta enfrente y pagar por que. Inca apareció el mesero muy mal servicio

   Took a while to get our drinks, took forever to get our food. The food wasn’t cooked well so we had to send it back. When it came to asking for the check, she forgot to give it to me so I just gave her my card to pay because I just wanted to leave

   Had a reservation, (in all fairness need to mention that I did call to advise I was running a couple minutes late and then showed up 10 minutes late) but still had to wait almost an hour to get seated. This is typical with Odyssey. I was seated outside when I actually requested a window table inside. The restaurant is looking somewhat shabby and outdated. The outside patio had a patio cover that had holes in it and looked like it had been in a hurricane. Instead of fresh hot sourdough bread we were served corn muffins with this horrible spicy seasoned butter. The menu also is now limited. I requested to substitute the mash potatoes that came with the steak with mac and cheese and was told it would cost an additional $10.00! - No thanks!@ Waited what seemed like a lifetime for our drinks and our dinner to be served. We were there for over 3 hours in total. The couple seated next to us was most displeased with the wait time, having to be seated outside as they wanted a table indoors and the food was not up to their standards. The lady was complaining about the corn muffins and the spicy seasoned butter as well. Odyssey also doesn't give out the birthday certificates to dining members anymore. On our way out of the restaurant there was an elderly couple who were loudly complaining that the staff lost their birthday cake. It was the woman's birthday and they planned to eat it after the meal but the cake somehow mysteriously disappeared! They were most distraught about their situation and it ruined the woman's birthday. Overall the food was excellent, the waiter was most accommodating, but the wait for the table, drinks and food was unacceptable!

   The server was very nice and friendly. He did a great job. Just drinks and appetizers didn’t came on time and when we got there they told us if half of the people there we could seat but we were 8 people still they didn’t let us seat at the table.

   We parked our car and found skateboarders on parking lot and smoking pot. We waited over 15 minutes passed our reservation only to be put on a table across from open door with cold wind coming at us and right by the lobby. The food was very bland and my wife never got a steak knife for her prime rib steak. The vegetables were very wilty and tasted like dirt. We saw (1) manager pull on our waiters arms very rudely and have him clean a big table for a big party celebrating a birthday and then our waiter was only making sure that they were attended too and the manager made sure of it. Their was (2) managers and both kept yelling at their employees and it was just very rudely. The only thing we liked was our waiter Joseph as he did his best to attend to us before he was rudely taken away by the (1) manager for the big birthday party table. We will definitely never go there again as it was not worth the over 100.00 dollar bill and will never recommend this restaurant.

    Nice view and ambience. Somewhat pricey though for the out dates furniture. Restaurant looks old and reminded me of one of those travel lodge cheap restaurants. Food was good tasting though, I guess I would recommend overall but not a favorite that I’d return

    I have been to the odyssey many times over the years and it’s always held its charm. The new renovation and updated menu has brought it to a new level. Our server Nancy has been working there a “few minutes” and as usual she did a fantastic job! I highly recommended sitting at her station. We were celebrating a 90th birthday and she made it so special! The specialty cocktail menu was intriguing and enjoyed by a couple of our guests. The bloody Mary’s were also a big hit. The food was delicious. My hubby and I shared the oyster appetizer and wedge salad. The kitchen was wonderful and split it into two beautiful portions. I had the fried chicken and waffles and it was delicious with the syracha glaze and the maple syrup was fantastic. Definitely a large portion and will be lunch today. Hubby had the filet “bennie” it was cooked to perfection and had a wonderful dipping sauce. It too will be consumed for a leftover lunch. The restaurant then presented a beautiful slice of cheesecake to the birthday girl as a special treat on the house. Everyone had a wonderful time and we will be back!

    Such a nice restaurant! It was our first time coming here and my husband and I we both loved it. Service was excellent and the food was amazing! If you can get a table by the windows or outside it will make your dinner even better. Definitely coming back here.

    This was my first time back to the Odyssey in over 20 years and I'm emphatic and stating that I will never go back again. There is too much hustle and bustle between the private party venues and the restaurants. I had a reservation for three at 5:30 p.m. and arrived at 5:00. I checked in with the front desk and I was told that even though there were many empty tables they would not be able to seat us until approximately our appointed time. Very foolish on their part. I found the menu to be very pleasing and the service was excellent. However it was not a venue for dining it was a venue for loud noise and people partying who had no respect for other tables who were trying to dine and have quite conversation. A party of 18 was loud and boisterous and management took no steps to ask them to reduce the level of noise they were creating.

    My husband & I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of San Fernando Valley, our table was in a quite area & very private, our waitress did not rush us, we enjoyed our Gin Martinis, the food, dessert & coffee at our own pace, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable evening !!!!

    Good service! Celebrating my son 18th birthday. Only recommendation is to have more servers. My server was excellent but I know he was spread thin across multiple tables. Fried chicken was on the oily side. Appetizers were amazing: crab cakes and mango habanero shrimp.

    I have been thinking of revisiting this restaurant for several years now. My dear friend mentioned the unlimited mimosa brunch was amazing prior to Covid, so that elevated my interest. Our waitress Macy was so lovely, patient & funny with compliments to boot. We were kid free so had to have a few libations. I love mimosas and they offered 4 different kinds of fruit mixes. Macy was full of great recommendations and even suggested a mix of two mimosas creating a citrusy, tropicalmosa like drink that looked oddly grey and dismal but was delicious! Now If you’re on brunch date I highly recommend the breakfast variety plate for 2. That’s not the name but it had everything from waffles to crab legs & steak like a mini table buffet. Everything was delicious. I had asked for the Eggs Benedict yolk to be medium and there was some miscommunication that was swiftly corrected and they provided a whole new Eggs Benedict that was perfect. I also highly recommend getting a bottle of champagne to share instead of bottomless mimosas as it’s easier to control how much or little alcohol you drink. Ordered the Bread pudding but honestly it was more like a cake than anything else. It tasted good but consistency was wrong. I mentioned it wasn’t bread pudding to Macy and she may have inquired with the head Chef. Sadly I don’t recall what they had to say as I had one too many mimosas. Altogether the experience was lovely. They could benefit from some light music, especially since sitting outside was off the table in the winter wind and air. Definitely returning in the summer. Please get some live music for weekends.

    This is the second time we’ve dined here in the last two weeks. Again the hosts need to make a point of telling us we only have the table for 90 minutes! It’s insulting, especially because both times we didn’t get the check we’ll after 2 hours. When I mentioned this to a host at the end of dinner, he said we had 2 hours because there were 9 of us. He heard the other host say, 99 minutes, but didn’t clarify. Bottom line, for this supposed “fine” dining, it’s insulting to rush patrons before they’ve even been seated. If there’s a problem with overstayers, deal with it at that time. To be fair, there was a mishap with our bottle of wine, but the manager took care of it in a fair manner.

    We went to celebrate my Dad’s birthday. Food and service was great. Mina was our server and she’s very nice and pleasant(excellent service). How I wish the table next to us could have lowered down their voices a bit so we can enjoy the ambiance even better. All in all was a good dinner. My husband said it’s our go to place for steaks because he haven’t had a bad one it’s always cooked to his preference.

    Always a great place. Steaks were a little rare for us, but still very tasty. Truffle butter and au jus highly recommended. Dirty Martini was excellent. The service was great, except our server forgot bread. Ambiance was wonderful too. the view was a little obscured because of the rain on the previous day and clouds that night but still pretty excellent. Acoustics aren't great, and its a little loud, but not enough to distract too much. We felt the crab cake appetizer was a little pricey for one cake, that was obviously not fresh, but the wedge salad, was awesome. Bleu Cheese dressing to die for and the bacon bits also great. We ended up ending the night with a key lime pie that was probably too much for the two of us, but very good. I haven't visited this restaurant since before pandemic, and happily will be back soon!

    I bought my girlfriend here for our 9 year anniversary. We arrived 20 minutes early than our reservation time. We enjoyed the beautiful ambiance of the restaurant as we talked while waiting for our table to be ready. When seated, we had a beautiful view of the patio and city of the valley and 405 freeway. It was a very pleasant view for our eating enjoyment. Our waitress was very attentive and courteous. The only thing that stood out with her was that her breath reeked. It was very distracting and hard to ignore when engaging in conversation with her. Other than that, there was no problems. I loved all the food and free dessert they offered. My favorite dish was the spinach artichoke dip. It was hot, fresh and creamy with plenty of delicious feta. The cheese plate had a lot of delicious cheeses, nuts, jelly and fruit. My girlfriend and I also enjoyed the cheeseburgers. What was odd was that they were supposed to come with garlic fries but didn’t. There must’ve been a problem communication with my waitress because she thought we didn’t want any fries with our burgers for some reason. We had to order them separately. Once again, not a problem. Finally came the cheesecake to which we decided to have it to go. The entire experience was great and memorable. Our waitress was great as well and received a good tip. This was my second time here and will not be the last!
