Odyssey Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar
The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The food was great. The Fisherman's Platter and The Godfather are a must to try and share.
Great restaurant, delicious food. Friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
The food was delicious! Homemade pasta, what more can I say. Server recommended great wine. For me, it was a solid 5 for food however the server was very pushy throughout the night and ordered us an appetizer that he recommended and we did not agree to. That was a bit of a turn off. Definitely would return, but hopefully have a different server.
Friends in town.
Amazing atmosphere with delicious food. There's a hustle and bustle about this place and the cozy rooms and the homey food make for a great evening
Service was great and the meal was delicious! Just what I needed! As always 😋
Excellent, but out of a number of things.
Odyssey is an excellent restaurant with an extensive menu of wonderful dishes. Service is always exceptional with Mike (son of the owner) usually on hand greeting guests as well as supervising and often helping to serve guests as well.
Monday is "pasta night" where all listed pasta dishes (15 or so) are under $10.00 for a complete dinner including Caesar salad to start. I particularly like salmon (in foil) which is not one of the pasta dishes as such but is served on a bed of pasta and is absolutely delicious.
I highly recommend making a reservation (especially on Monday pasta night).
Odyssey Italian Restaurant is one of those rare finds that you are happy you discovered and share with friends and family.
Amazing experience, was seated in a private booth that was the perfect ambience for celebrating our anniversary. Outstanding service and the food was delicious.
Probably the best Italian restaurant in Denver if you ask me! Took my girlfriend here for a romantic evening and really hit it outta the ballpark! The place is cute, fancy, the staff are really nice, the food is to die for and at a good price point. Will definitely be coming here again!
Our favorite dining experience in Denver!! Atmosphere is authentic to Italy! Service and attention to our needs ... over the top! And the food!!!!! OMG. Every meal is delicious!! Excellent in every way ! Truly!!
Had a reservation, but it still took over 30 min to be seated. Food was good and wait staff was nice.
Outstanding across the board! Service was excellent, the environment was romantic and the food was 2nd to none. Thanks for a great dinner!
Not the usual dining experience as we have had in the past. This has always been a favorite, but this time I have to say not a good thing. The restaurant changed all tables downstairs to accommodate parties of two so we had to be seated upstairs (up three flights). Not as comfortable. Would not go again if there are more than two of us that can't be seated downstairs.
Best Italian food in all of Denver. Ann was a great server.
The restaurant was uncomfortably packed, people everywhere, parties of 5 and 6 squeezed at tables for 4. The food was good but not great, typical red sauce Italian, not Sicilian as advertised. Arancini were well done, Caesar salad clearly from a bag with box croutons and plastic textured parmigiano shreds. The meal was rushed, as we ate antipasti, our salads were served, never even had a chance to order a bottle of wine because our entrees were soon behind the salads. Waiters clearly couldn’t handle the frenzy. Desserts were clearly from Costco and pre-frozen as we recognized the containers they were served in. No thanks.
I feel this place had potential but that’s been replaced by greed and shortcuts. Don’t waste your time here if your looking for good Italian.
Although it was a cute, quaint atmosphere the food was just not great! That was super disappointing. We ordered the arancini rice balls and they were very darkly fried on the exterior and overly mushy on the inside, almost tasting not fully cooked. The meal was veal braciole and we did not enjoy that at all!
We did like the marinara that came with the calimari. We had asked for salt and pepper and they kept trying to take it back but we wanted it for our meal. Although quaint and we were there for Valentine’s Day so it was busy it was very tight and cramped. I was bumped into by other customers and servers four different times. We would not visit again.
Great food and great service. I just wish they had bananas foster everyday. Or made it clear when it was available. We will be back and I will call first to see if they are making it that day.
Odyssey was the perfect spot for our valentines date.
I rate this restaraunt six stars on a 5 star scale. The sauce reminds me of what I enjoyed in Northern Italy, server, support staff all knowledgeable and friendly. My favorite Italian restaraunt in Denver!
Great authentic food from Sicily.
Service and ambiance outstanding.
Ok, I know I'm a clean freak, but every surface I had to touch (i.e. stair railings) were old, damaged and sticky). You had to walk through the kitchen to get upstairs. Upstairs bathroom is functionally challenged. Food was good, but not exceptional. Wait staff was very good, I felt bad for her that waiting tables in there was so physically challenged with all the narrow stairways.
This was our first time here after hearing how wonderful it was from friends. We were not disappointed! The salad was super fresh (yummy dressing), the manicotti was delish as was the rum cake. Rae provides excellent, prompt service without being intrusive. All around it was an excellent dinner :D
Normally love going there so took my friend to celebrate her new job, it was extremely slow because of the snow with many open tables and were still asked to leave our table and hour at 15 minutes after our reservation time for another reservation. They did this while we still have full classes of wine. There was absolutely no one waiting at the door and open spots and were forced to leave and not finish our bottle of wine.
Food was amazing from appetizers to dessert!! My husband I visited to celebrate our birthdays and it was such a great experience. Lea was our waiter, she was very attentive and so down to earth. We will certainly visit again!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will return. A little busy, but it was Saturday night.
This restaurant is always the best in town! Father and son from Brooklyn, and they know how to prepare foods like you’re living in New York City!
Great! Food was delicious and our server so sweet!
Everything was amazing - such a beautiful and special place. Best Italian I’ve had in Denver!
Great home style recipe Italian cuisine. The owner is always watching, in a good way, to make sure that the food and service is spot on. The staff is attentive with great food and wine recommendations. The only thing missing from this establishment is Tony Soprano sitting at his favorite table!
What an amazing evening! Mario created one of the Eber dining experiences we’ve ever had! Will be back soon! So long as Mario is our waiter:)
Excellent food in an intimate setting. Crowded even on a Monday night.
Probably the most romantic restaurant I have ever been in. We were sat next to the fire place (real and in use!) which kept us cozy and warm. The lighting was dim but the candles made up for it. The food was extraordinary, I would say it was some of the best Italian food i’ve ever had. Very caring and professional staff, we were checked on multiple times and always had someone restocking our bread. All in all an amazing experience, I couldn’t keep the smile off me face. Definitely will be returning here:)!
While the food was wonderful I was disappointed with the overall ambience of the restaurant. The lighting was horrible. They were using very orange bulbs that made it difficult to read and I have 20/20 eyesight. I will also state that something was very wrong with the heat. It was stifling and I was so hot I was melting in my seat which made it difficult to enjoy my meal. Another guest complained and their fix was to crack a window 2 inches which did nothing.
Had another great evening! Mario and Michael such a pleasure to see you all again.

Food was great but not perfect, although price point did match the value. This place has a great authentic feel and warm, intimate atmoshere. It's not an industrial or modern pretentious Italian place, and thankfully it's also not a lame local-yocal attempt at Italian. It is legit.
Not every seat in the house is great. Props for fitting as many seats as possible in the space, so as to serve as many people as want to enjoy Odyssey, but its a head-scratcher when the place isn't busy and you get seated in one of the odd/uncomfortable spots.
Beer offerings were sad. Considering its Colorado, and the wide variety of high end craft beer available these days, its unfortunate that the wine list gets 5 star treatment while the beer is an afterthought.
Overall, I would still gladly go there.
Was expecting better. My friend had veal piccata and I had veal Marsala, and we agreed that the food was mediocre and would describe it as “homestyle”
First time, very good. This restaurant serves food from southern Italy (Sicily) , so expect a different type of Italian food. I wish the plating was more organized, they overloaded the plate with too many veggies. Other than that it was a very pleasant dinner.
We made a reservation for 5:30pm a week before the night. We arrived about 10min early. The place didn't seem too busy but we weren't seated until 6pm. Pretty disappointed for our first time with the service to start off. The hostess offered us 2 glasses of Prosecco because we complained but that really didn't seem to make up for the long wait. The server was also very off putting. He was not very friendly and was clearly distracted and not very attentive to our needs. We just had some strange interactions with him. Food was great. All the pasta was $8.95 and came with bread and a salad. The pasta was just delicious and satisficed us. We also each had a glass of wine and 2 desserts.
The place was perfect! I hardly come by good italian food in Denver (I’m from NY) and this place made me so overwhelmingly happy. The ambiance was romantic and the food was to die for. Food and drink options for everyone. I ordered classic spaghetti and meatballs and the red sauce was everything I could ever hope for. Thank you!!!
