    We had our Company Holiday Dinner at Odyssey and we had such a great experience. The staff were very accommodating & provided excellent service. Selina and the reservations team were very helpful and did an amazing job with helping us set up the perfect evening for our team. The food was delicious and we the most enjoyable time. We were provided with the most excellent service by Macy & Jesus and made sure we were well taken care of. Will definitely be back soon and will have many more special events here in the future!

    The food was delicious and the service was awesome. Our server Macy was great. We were celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary and Macy made it feel that much more special to us. My wife had the chicken which was delicious. Lots of flavor!! Sitting on top of a bed of creamed corn, they paired perfectly. They serve you a half a chicken, so bring your appetite!! I had the NY strip steak. It was cooked to perfection and had great flavor. All of the sides were spot on. This was our first time here and we will definitely return.

    Everything was great! However they make you wait until your whole party arrives before seating you. And then you still have to wait when you are seated because the bar was backed up according to our waitress. The lady was kind enough to bring us some muffins since she noticed we had been waiting for awhile now.

    Had a wonderful meal last night, our server Jesus was friendly and attentive. He suggested the salmon, mashed potatoes and broccolini and it was amazing. My husband had the biggest wedge salad and shrimp cocktail. Very delicious. The view never disappoints across the valley. Will be back gain soon.

    We had a preset menu (Hilltop $80 per person). The waiter encouraged us to select the chicken dinner option. The appetizers were for the table to share. The food was OK. Two of our guests chose the Filet Mignon. The medium-rare was overcooked, and the medium was rare. We had to send it back. We had eight guests, and only three desserts were given to share. We were not told the desserts were to be shared among the guests. That was not OK. We paid $897 for eight guests.

    Always great. Service was outstanding. Food was tasty. So happy they brought their Prime Rib back to the menu. Only thing was they took too long to bring our alcoholic beverages, but it was a busy night. Waiter was so friendly and attentive. Always a pleasure going here.

    Sat at the bar this time with a coworker and watched the 405 traffic get more and more congested as the night went on. Worth the view.

    Our impression was The Odyssey is understaffed to the point that wait times for seating and food was longer than expected. Staff was doing the best it could, but there should have been more servers and perhaps cook staff. The food was good, but the wedge salad was essentially almost a whole head of lettuce, which was not cut into a wedge (the patron has to perform that duty). It was way too much lettuce for a salad item. I would recommend The Odyssey to a friend because of the great views, but don't expect excellence as far as service and food.

    Food was ice cold. Mass produced under a heat lamp. Sarah our waitress was okay. Served wrong drinks, forgot items. I had gift certificates but corporate was closed and they couldn’t figure out how to redeem them. It cost me $90, awful! The only good thing about the experience was Mark the manager.

    The food was excellent as well as the service. We had a filet and a petite prime rib, both cooked to perfection and well presented. Our drinks were amazing too!! We will definitely be back again.

    Sadly, the service we received today was something to be desired. We had to ask for our drink refills several times before we got them. We had to ask for missing components of our order several times before we received them. Our check was incorrect as well. We have been here multiple times and this experience was disappointing.

    Wedge salad is a waste because no one or two people can eat it plus minimal blue cheese and a fraction of needed dressing- 4 lardons😳. 10 os prime rib nicely done., needs the additional horseradish, broccoli rob chewey, wine nice but high$. I think we might do better on a non holiday visit. Staff was lovely! Rob was our server👏

    Had table for 8 in the bar area for thanksgiving. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Prime Rib was very good and I’d have it again. Shrimp cocktail was fabulous- large shrimp ice cold & tangy sauce. Ribeye and New York steaks perfectly cooked. Turkey dinner was surprisingly moist. First time we didn’t cook thanksgiving ourselves and we’d do it again.

    Very disappointed in our experience. Even though we had reservations, there was an error at the front desk and we had to wait an additional 30 minutes. This was supposed to be a very special family dinner, instead we left feeling disappointed and underwhelmed. Our waitress, while very nice, was clearly overwhelmed. The meal was overpriced and subpar. The Odyssey had always been a beloved establishment, I hope things will improve for them.

    Probably the worst meal I’ve had in LA in my 10+ years. Maybe it’s just Thanksgiving brunch but I’ve never been to a restaurant that cares so little about its guests. First we were delivered a charcuterie board that looked like it had been sitting out for a while alongside a “seafood” platter with the saddest looking crab legs, four pieces of shrimp (not fully deveined). Then our server dropped off a salad that looked soggy as I’m sure it also had been sitting…all before taking our order. Our server never came by to ask us if we wanted another drink, or how our food was. We then got our entrees where either the eggs were overcooked or under. My steak was also wayyyy over medium rare. My husband then found a hair in his meal. When we told the server she offered to give us a cocktail but by then we had been waiting so long for the dessert that we declined. While waiting for our check we also witnessed a grandmother getting place settings for her family because the servers didn’t bring any for the dessert platter and another women getting her own heater to warm her table. We started to realized it was the kinda place that has zero hospitality and heart in what they do. Then after waiting 20min to get our check we noticed the server didn’t take the cocktail we had already ordered off the bill. All in all, for a $200 brunch extremely underwhelmed and won’t be returning. Would have been better off getting takeout at home. I’d literally recommend going anywhere else.

    No one liked the food and we all had different items. Sea bass was so overcooked it was tough. The lobster Benedict was served on terrible type of cornbread. The crab on the seafood plate was very salty. The price was way too much for what we were served. We won’t go back

    Delicious hidden gem. Lots of parking. Go on a week day, lots of events going on here during the weekends It’s a bit on the pricier side, so go on a special occasion. Request a table by the window to see the sun set. Spectacular. You can also eat outside, weather permitting. There are fire pits and heat lamps. Warm complimentary corn muffins with a honey glaze. Yum! Spinach and artichoke appetizer was ok, but the filet was very well made. See my picture.

    A birthday occasion, and not our first visit to the Odyssey, as we love the view, the food is consistently good and it's close to home. Our server, Daryl was outstandingly kind and attentive, the seating was outstanding and the meal was progressing as wonderfully as imagined.

    Stunning views of the San Fernando Valley, while sipping yummy (and bottomless) mimosas made this special occasion brunch a real treat. Food was terrific--especially fond of the crabcake with a lovely corn relish. Our server, George, was attentive, informative, quick, and incredibly thoughtful. This longstanding location in the Valley still has it!

    Food was good nothing terribly special. The steak was kinda small for the price paid and was just an average steak nothing special. Absolutely loved the ambiance of the place. Stunning view. Slightly over priced. Would go again.

    They should get friendly hostess this people don’t have any good public relations, they don’t say hi or anything else, I requested a window with a nice view which I never get by the way and I got one with a palm tree blocking the view so I went back and asked for a another table the hostess told me that the waiter in that area was coming 30 minutes later so I had to by the lobby I decided to go back to the table that we already got since my nine year old daughter was hungry, very disappointed specially when we’re celebrating my daughter’s birthday, I used to go more often but because those people at front now I just go once in a while by the bar and obviously just for a couple of beers, waiters and food still good

    Great views. Pricey. Service is excellent. Diverse food menu. Wish the hash was hash potatos but instead was baby whole potatos mix with prime rib. Coffee was weak. Need better beans.
