   We’ve eaten lunch many times at Odeum. Today on our travels we stopped for dinner. We had reservations. We chose to eat outdoors. Our experience was a disaster. It took 30 minutes to get a glass of wine. It took way too long to get our dinner. I do not fault our staff person. She was amazing and apologetic. They were way understaffed for a holiday. The worse part of being outdoors was that Odeum shares patio space with a brewery. There was a table of six right on the other side of the lattice fence who were drunk out of their minds. They were loud. Very loud. The women were shrieking loud. And worst of all, every other word began with the letter “f.” Staff on the restaurant side tried to quiet them down but didn’t work. My feeling is if we are going to spend almost $200 for dinner, we shouldn’t have to listen to what was going on ten feet away.

   I think they could have made my experience a little better I explained to the waitress that I will be ordering multiple dishes and that a table for two will not suffice instead of having me wait as I requested they sat me down and of course filled my table with all the plates at once having me move things around and almost dropping plates. It was not until I made a comment to my waitress again answering her question of is there anything she can do for me and I said yes I need a bigger table please. Since our table was disrupting the table next to us who was friends with the chef they finally give us a table that would accommodate all the dishes I was purchasing for my party of two. Not very happy at the end the chicken bacon pasta was delicious. The tomahawk steak was a 4 out of five. The drinks are delicious.

   Outside is quiet, except when the train rolls by. The space heaters don’t work very well.

   My husband and I had dinner at 5:30 PM. We were seated right away. We were greeted by our waiter and told us their specials of the day which sounded really good. The noise was on the loud side, I couldn’t hear what my husband was saying. It was a little dim were we sat, probably bcus were seated in the corner. I ordered the capellini pomodoro and my husband had blackened ahi. Both were excellent, tasty and delicious. The tomato sauce in my pomodoro was fresh and paired well with the basil in the side. The ahi tuna was great! I liked how the coconut rice and crispy shallots. All in all, I recommend Odeum. We will come back.

   Odeum has consistently been a spot to eat. We had a great girl's nigh. Service, ambiance, drinks, food, dessert all on point! Halibut Crudo - SO good Funghi Ripieni - mushrooms are not my thing, but my friends loved it Beet Carpaccio - delicious Skirt Steak - We all shared it and cleaned the plate!! One of the best I've had - cooked perfect, great texture & the plating of the dish - very pretty and delish! Dessert : I'm not sure the names but it was ice cream of sort and came with a sauce poured over it and chocolate shavings. we also got a mouse of some sort - both were amazing! If you like Espresso Martinis, also recommend. Our visit was a 10/10 =) Loved it! Perfect for a date night or catching up with friends.

   Odeum was a pleasant surprise. The food was really nice and the atmosphere just what we were looking for-- fine dining with a lively vibe. We were very impressed with our waiter, BK, who carefully planned the dishes in the right order and ended with the crudo as a fresh finish! We enjoyed the halibut crudo and the lamb riblets with the cold potato salad. I liked that the octopus was unusually plated with escarole and white beans. Artichokes were excellent!

   Odeum is truly an experience. The food is exceptional. Chef Sal is amazing; my wife raves about the chicken and waffles, and the lamb is outstanding.

    We had a great first experience! We arrived early and Presley was so kind and accommodating. We were lucky enough to have her as our server too! The food and wine was delicious, presented beautifully. The only down side was the music was to loud, great tunes but not quite so loud especially on Easter would have been much more enjoyable. Some of our guests wear hearing aides and it was to much for them.
