    Had a 7:00 reservation, but didn’t need it. Place was empty. Seemed odd for a Sunday. I had the veal cheeks, and my wife had the skirt steak. She said hers was very good, but if I closed my eyes, I could have sworn I was eating pot roast. The menu said it came with asparagus,of which I was served one skinny one. I wouldn’t order it again. The saving grace was the service. It was impeccable.

    Loved this place. It’s away from the Main Street, great ambience. Tables with crisp white table cloths. It’s well run, with a full bar. All staff where kind, knowledgeable and super helpful. My waitress was incredibly knowledgeable with drinks and the menu. Super friendly. I never heard of this place but now that I know,will becoming more often.

    We dined at Odeum before a show at Clos La Chance winery. Food was delicious. They were able to fully accommodate us on a tight schedule without feeling rushed. Give them a try!

    Been here many times and normally love it. Booked outside because it’s noisy inside and hard for my older parents to hear. We waited for 20 minutes but they couldn’t accommodate us so had to sit instead. Couldn’t order pizza or pita bread bc they said it would take an hour

    I've been coming here for a few years now and have always loved it. The ambiance is perfect for couples date night or with friends. They have good specials, I tend to lean more toward the specials since the menu has changed over the years. For appetizers we ordered the scollops, their day special prawns, cracked bread and ricotta with flat bread, I preferred the cracked bread. Normally we order the calamari and pulipo both are great, must try. Entrees we ordered: I ordered the halibut special (unfortunately there was no Eggplant Parmesan which is on the website menu, and we raved to our friends about it). My husband and his friend ordered the skirt steak, and this time it was over cooked, our friend's steak was burned on the bottom. Overall it's usually on point, but the last two times it's been rushed and food items not cooked correct. I will return and hope to get our food cooked right. I always look forward to their specials.

    Was not busy inside , first tried to put at table near door so we asked to move. They stuck us a back in the dark. Must be why waitress was so inattentive - she couldn't see us. Tried to flag her down a few times to tell her the wrong appetizer was brought. She didn't check on us until bringing entree. Too late for appetizer now so it was removed from bill. Food was dry - hard to tell what we were eating as there was no lighting. Table next to us had lighting and we could hear their loud conversation. Disapointing meal. They automatically add 20% to bill so I guess wait staff don't care- they are getting tipped regardless of service.

    We weren’t told the specials until about 30 min in when we over heard a waiter telling another table. Overall the Beet Salad and Tzatziki were delicious. However Pappardelle Pastore the noodles were cooked perfectly but the lamb was very gamey, it overpowered the entire dish. The Skirt Steak flavor was good but was over cooked. Asked for bone marrow they ordered it then came back 20 min later saying they were all out as they took one to another table. The Louisiana Butter Cake was full of flavor and delicious.

    5 of us celebrated a bestie's bday and we had the most incredible service and the food and drink was top notch! We arrived at 12:30 and left at 3:30 even though they close at 2:30 to get ready for dinner service at 5:00. Our server was also the bartender/mixoligist and he crafted our cocktails to perfection. Food was fantastic!! Chicken and waffles is a splurge and worth it! Odeum always delivers! Thank you Odeum for making our celebration so special!

    Today we took my mother to Sunday brunch at Odeum to celebrate a special day. We ate outside and although it was in the high 80’s, it was lovely under the generous umbrellas on their patio. Gerry was our wait person and he was absolutely wonderful. He attended to our every need ensuring our meal was delicious and we felt well taken care of. Thank you, Gerry for your excellent service and kindness! We will be back again, soon!

    Our dinner at Odeum, under the expert hands of award-winning Chef Sal Calisi, was a culinary delight. The wood-fired baby artichoke hearts appetizer was a symphony of flavors, perfectly balanced with tomato compote and sheep's milk feta.     We thought the food was outstanding! We especially liked sharing the 5 different Mediterranean dips with pita Bread. The service was a little slow for us & inside was a bit noisy- but overall, we’d come again, and maybe next time try the outside seating. The dessert, butter cake with berries put the meal over the top.

    They let a waiter drunk as a skunk wait on our table. Forgot what everyone ordered. Brought out main course for one before salads. This was our third and last visit to this restaurant. Once it was great, second time we ate inside music was so loud left with a headache. Then this. Odeum is off the list.

    Odeum never disappoints!! Great lunch with friend visiting from out of town! Sat on patio for 2+ hours; server even came and filled our water glasses because it was hot after we had paid check while we sat chatting! Food ordered: Crack bread, gyro salad, salsiccia pizza without green peppers and tomatoes, changed tomato sauce to white sauce!! All food was amazing!

    Food was overpriced. There was no ramp for handicapped people. Rib eye was smaller than other restaurants I have seen. I was not aware of 20 per cent service charge. I would not recommend this restaurant.

    No air conditioning so we chose to sit outside which was very hot but Breyer than stuffy inside. I ordered the salmon. Menu did not say it was a fish stew. Poor choice on the chef due to the 98 degree weather in the middle of summer. I had a hard time even swallowing due to the fish smell and one inch layer of oil on top. 👎🏻🤢 Also very pricey and poor service. Will not come back

    While the food was good, nice filet of SeaBass, everything else was sub par. Service was poor, had to flag down a busboy to ask our waiter to come by. The most shocking thing is they cannot make the simplest cocktail, a gin martini…the bartender shook it so long that it ended up being a glass of water. On top of all this, the prices are ridiculous. We will never return here.

    We have been there a few times before - Food was Good, Service was ok, and No specials offered. A 20% auto service fee already added to our check when it was delivered to our table. A lot has changed since our last visit wine list was disappointing.

    I have dined at Odeum many times for brunch and dinner, the service and food was just okay this time, did they recently have a chef change? I ordered a filet medium rare and when I cut through the center it was well done (no pink in sight). I called the waiter over and explained it was not medium rare and asked if they could redo the steak. He took the plate back to redo the order. I was hoping he would leave me with the vegetables so I could eat something with the rest of my party. Minutes later a second waiter came by with my first steak on a small plate and asked what was wrong with it. I then had to explain again my expectation of medium rare and well done. At this point I was getting a little upset with the service and how I was treated as a customer. Our original waiter came back 15 minutes later and announced that my steak was in the order line. Am I crazy, doesn’t a redo order automatically go to the front of the line? The second steak came out with minimal vegetables on the plate and when I cut through it this time it was raw, cold to the touch. The waiter didn’t even stick around to make sure the steak was better the second time. I had to call the waiter over to share the bad news about the cook (or lack of it) on my steak. I told him I would skip having dinner, the rest of my party already finished their meal. He brought out a desert wine to make up for the cooking error. I did not want another drink. I asked if there was a manager I could speak with and was told there was no manage that evening, our waiter claimed to be the bar manager. If he was any type of manager, I would have hoped he would have handled me sending back an $60 plate back with more grace. There are positive moments from this experience, the beet salad was good and the dining environment/location overall is always nice, but I don’t see myself returning.

    It was disappointing to find that the bar had no cocktail onions so we had to have vodkha martinis instead of Gibsons. The lamb shoulder steaks were unbelievably overdone ... almost burned. The chicken & Waffles arrived a good 15 minutes after the other 3 meals, making for a very awkward and disruptive situation. All in all, a disappointing experience

    Service and food quality have declined in the last year, as we have been patrons for the last five plus years. This was one of our favorite places and are sad with the current state of affairs. We will not be returning for a while.

    Waitress dropped an espresso martini. It spilled on the table , on myself (my clothes) and my daughter. She replaced it with another one only after I asked her to. She did charge for the espresso martini. One of the meals came very late , after all the other meals and we had to inquire about the status of the missing meal several times before it came. Steak plates were served without steak knives . We had to also ask for them. Overall service was poor. Because we were a big party the 20% service fee was already included , but this was one of those times that it was not earned .

    The environment is very nice and everyone seems nice enough. Our food was brought out except for 1 person at our table and after about 10 minutes, I had to get up and ask about it. It seems that it had not yet been made and they started making the dish! Not sure what would have happened if I had not gotten up to ask about it! The waiter was nice and brought over French Toast on the house, while we waited for the dish to come out, which was very nice! He also offered a free dessert, the Louisiana Gooey Butter cake, which was fantastic! Overall the food was just okay and not worth a drive from San Jose.

    The most exceptional restaurant down in that Morgan Hill area. We always make it a point to stop when we’re on our way to Pebble Beach or on our way back to the bay area. Don’t miss this gem! Every menu item is delicious and portions are quite large. Cozy romantic indoor decor, and fun, relaxing outdoor atmosphere. You can’t go wrong either way.! Every guest we take returns, I’ve never had anything other than exceptional meal there. Don’t miss out !
