Good atmosphere , great vibe, server was great, food very good.
great value for the money
I've been to this restaurant many times now and it has never disappointed! Whether it's been just myself and my partner for a date night or a larger group of company from out of town. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service is always amazing. Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable. The menu is always changing with what's fresh, which is great because you get the feel of going somewhere new each time, all while knowing you're always going to have a quality meal that falls into the Oddfish calibre and feel. I also love that it is a come-as-you-are type place. You can dress up or dress more casual, it's really up to you and how you're feeling. I've been in heels one night and then straight off a hike the next. You'll never feel out of place and the restaurant and its staff are always so warm and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend :)
Our server was very knowledgeable Andy gave great recommendations. Food was really fresh, but the drinks my friend and I had (a peach lemonade and ginger lemonade) isn’t something I’d order again.
Interesting food, very creative. A lot of the same sauces/toppings used on the various dishes. Very good service, knowledgeable wait staff. A little pricey but fine for Vancouver.
The food and service were fantastic. We will be dining there again.
As usual, Oddfish was excellent. The trout is a perennial favourite. Burrata and asparagus was a nice, simple starter and the crab pasta with chilies and roasted tomato was great. Service was prompt and friendly.
Don’t know why Odddish doesn’t get more attention. It’s one of our favourite restaurants in Vancouver. But I’m happy that we’re still able to get a table without too long of a line.
My wife loves Oddfish, I am medium on it. The staff is awesome, the food is ok but not really much to write home about - especially 35 dollar pasta special (pasta should never be 35 bucks)
My husband and I ate there for my 40th birthday. Cocktails were outstanding, service was fantastic and meal was one of the best we have ever had!!
The menu looked good but it turned out to be another restaurant with average food and ridiculously high prices. I don’t mind paying a premium for good food, however, the taste has to match the price tag.
Great service -just like Nook. Good food. Way over-priced. $10 for fries; $15 for carrots, $20 for tiny ceviche.
Service was great, attentive host and server. Ordered the grilled branzino and not what I expected, first of all it did not taste grilled compared to others restaurants that have this dish. Secondly, had too much sauce on the fish. Thirdly, for $45 it was definitely not value for money. We also had the fries and beet salad which were alright in taste and pricing.
It was a fun night with delicious food and drink and great service.
Service efficient and attentive, food very good with nice additions of daily specials including spot prawns which were in season. Relaxed though lively atmosphere
Love this restaurant eat there a lot in the warmer weather because of the patio, I find it too loud at a table but the bar is seems ok for noise.
Service was great- all servers seemed to know each dish very well and made us feel welcomed in the space. food was great as well; oysters were super fresh. Overall an excellent experience and will def return on my next visit to vancouver!
Fish and vegetables are all VERY fresh. Sauces are flavourful and nicely seasoned. Staff are all very friendly, happy to make recommendations, and work efficiently together. Manager is very welcoming (and we couldn’t help noticing that he’s not above clearing dishes and cleaning tables when it’s busy, not something we see managers do often). Small but smart wine list. We didn’t have cocktails but lots of customers did, and they all seemed pretty pleased with their drinks. A bit noisy when the room full, mostly hard surfaces so sounds are reflected. Great vibe in this restaurant. Love coming here!
Amazing food, great service. This is a great place to go for a date or dinner with friends.
Great food, great service. Ideal location for walking or driving to.
Thank you for having such delicious vegetable options.
Amazing food and service. Loved it
Excellent service and food, casual welcoming atmosphere. Tad pricey.
I love this place! I have been several times and every experience has been outstanding. I highly recommend Oddfish for delicious seafood in a warm and chic atmosphere.
Perfect date spot. Loved the Hot Mess seafood platter and hand cut fries. Truly special in its simplicity.
Nice visit...the trout was the best fish dish we've had for a very long time, the green salad we had was excellent and we thought the clams were a very nice serving size. The roasted cauliflower, while well cooked, filling and tasty, seemed to clash (flavorwise) with all the other dishes.
Service was okay but had a few bumps. Part of our order was served to a different table so we had an extra wait. Otherwise, service was pretty good.
We'd definitely recommend to others
aexcellent like always.
one of the best in Vancouver
Casual neighborhood spot with great seafood. Especially loved the desserts. Friendly and solicitous server. Highly recommended for seafood lovers.
The staff and food are really great-we found some things to be pretty expensive for a casual restaurant.
Food was amazing.
Good food, smaller portions but good quality.
Possibly. Unfortunately the sole was very salty even though we love capers
Speedy but low key. Great food. Great staff. Feels like neighborhood place but we travel to eat there.
Another terrific meal at this restaurant.
Always great!! Will be back many more times
We were served by Jeffrey who was a terrific host. Very helpful with menu suggestions and generous with his time. The food was incredible! Fresh, creative, and absolutely delicious. Thanks to the whole Oddfish team for a lovely evening!
Food was excellent but even with a few tables open we constantly felt like staff was rushing us which impacted on the ability to fully relax
Great fun as we came into a happy, busy restraunt. Service was good, mussels and a serving of chips to share as suggested were excellent. Decided to share the Octopus. Bad choice, think you should rethink that dish, very little overdone octopus, plus sauce etc. Very poor value. Was surprised and pleased that that dish price was taken off our bill.
Will love to try again and be more adventuresome re some choices. All in all good fun., a bit too loud, but seems all places are like that now. Thanks JW
We love the restaurant, the servers and the food. We do find it very loud and the last 3 times we went with other couples everyone commented it was not a great place to have easy conversation. To the point that we will likely only go when it is just the two os us.
A few sound absorbing panels would allow for good energy but the ability to have great conversations.
Had another great evening at Oddfis
Food was amazing! The pasta special was beyond compare
As special thank you to Patrick who shared some dining tips with us
Truly a great evening!
Over priced and tasteless... Will not go again..... Lots of preggers restos on Main by example which out class this one and priced reasonably.......
The shared seafood dishes were delicious especially the whole fish! Service was laid back and servers were very friendly. Only thing is the price was a little high, though I would highly recommend Oddfish!
