Excellent food, drinks and service! I’d highly recommend for everyday dining and special occasions.
Food was absolutely delicious, definitely will be back.
While the food was serviceable the wait staff was very slow. It took 45 minutes for our appetizer to come out. Not sure if this was related to the slow reopening amid COVID-19 or if that is consistent with their standard of service. The food was good but prices were high. Would not recommend as a first stop in Andersonville.
Wonderful, and interesting, food! A great mix of Turkish and Georgian cuisines, in a lovely setting.
Many unique and delicious menu items at this neighborhood gem in Andersonville.
Love, love, love this place. Never disappoints. Can’t wait to come back!
Oda is consistently very good. It’s the
whole package. We were turned to it by close friends and we’ve been referring people to it ever since.
They were understaffed, and it took 3 hours to get our drinks and food. There was seriously only one waitress trying to take care of numerous tables! Although the food was amazing, I won’t return until they have more staff!
Delicious food, friendly staff, relaxing ambience! Definitely check them out!!
We had the lamb moussaka and sultans delight which were terrific ! The ambience is top notch - comfortable and cozy and yet elegant and unpretentious. The waitstaff and owner are delightful. Now they serve beer, wine and cocktails !
Every single thing we ordered was more delicious than the fish before it! So much flavor in every single bite!
Our favorites were the Babaganoush (served with bread for dipping,) Dolmas and Combo Kabob (the lamb on the kabob was some of the best lamb I’ve ever had!)
Oda is the perfect place for a date night or a fun dinner out with friends!
Great food. Service a bit slow but very knowledgeable. May have been slow due to items ordered took longer to cook. They did not mention that. But it was worth the wait. Nice options for vegetarians
The food was excellent! The hot mushroom appetizer and charred octopus entree were delicious. Best lentil soup I’ve had in a long time, too. We’ll be back!
Weird flickering light throughout meal. Looked at a review from 9 months ago, same thing happened then. Waited an hour and a half to get rest of appetizer. Entree was a thin, overcooked piece of steak, covered in pizza cheese. Service was almost non existent. They also tried to charge me 20$ for missing my reservation from open table. This place is disgusting.
intimate atmosphere, really nice appetizer plate and strong menu.
The food was really good and the service was really not.
staff was a bit flustered but very nice. The food was great!
Cozy and relaxed with great food
A great combination of fantastic ambiance and great food! Will go back!
Good food, atmosphere, and wine selections.
A mixed of Georgian and Persian.
What an outstanding find in Andersonville! Outstanding in every aspect: food, service, ambiance, quiet, peaceful dining experience where we could converse happily with our friends! Melissa is the server deluxe, anticipating our every need, offering expert suggestions, remembering our names, our selections and our previous orders. Oda is our new favorite place!
We had a 6:30 reservation and were seared before 6:30. Our orders went in before 7:00. At 8:25, we had not been served our entrees. The server told us that because of the large party in the next room, the kitchen was backed up. We left.
What a lovely and delicious experience! We LOVE Turkish cuisine and Oda is definitely a step up from our other, local venues. Our out-of-town family gathered with us and it was blissfully quiet enough to have meaningful conversation - so rare, these days! The food was truly marvelous though 3 of us experienced cold when it should have been hot food. Nevertheless, this was graciously corrected and the service was truly professional and hospitable. We would definitely return.
The meal was outstanding. The waitress recommended the cornish hen which was fantastic. The skin was crisp and the meat was juicy. The lentil soup was fantastic. All the appetizers were very good. Service was very friendly and attentive, even though we were there over 3.5 hours on a slow Saturday night.
I love this place and have been a pretty regular customer ... I often come early during the week and make a reservation even tho it’s not necessary. I mentioned that it was a birthday. They sat us a a table and I immediately noticed a sparkly table runner and nice china... the owner( I think ) came out to greet us and wish my friend a happy bday. She mentioned that she knew my name because I am one of her most frequent guests ... she was pleased that I noticed the special table set up ... they also brought a delicious desert pudding with a candle :-) So lovely!
I’ll be back soon. I love!!! The sultans delight but tried the lamb moussaka and it was terrific !!
My wife and I recently visited Oda or shall I say Oh No. the service was horrendous. No one came over to offer water, drinks of any kind, and/or asking if there was anything that we needed.
It was the type of place where they made you feel like you were doing them a favor for being there.
When the server did come- she was defending the kitchen because they cook everything to order...... as though this restaurant is Alinea.
Last time I checked- it doesn’t take 60 minutes to make falafel- unless they are being flown in.......
There are countless other restaurants where customers can get excellent Middle Eastern food without poor service and the attitude.
Go Somewhere Else.....
Enjoyed everything -- food, service, ambiance. Just disappointed that it's no longer BYOB
Great food, slow but friendly service. It won't stop me returning, but the wait for drinks and ordering is tedious.
I used to go to Turkish Cuisine when it was on Ckark Street and when it was on Perterson. The portions are a little smaller but still very tasty but the ambiance is much better. I really like the decor of the new Oda restaurant also they are now serving wine and beer. So I will miss the BYOB.
Food was very good but some of the slowest service I've ever had at a restaurant. And the place was only moderately busy. After more than 10 minutes waiting for the server to take my credit card, we gave up and pulled together cash so we could leave it on the table and get out. Every single interaction was like this - 10-15 minutes between visits by the server. Also, my meal came out before my friend's meal, and before the appetizer - by 15 minutes. It was cold by the time I got around to eating it, but I wanted to have the appetizer first. There are enough places in Andersonville with similar food, that I will go to those instead.
I just love the sultans delight !! Also the Osso Bucco... our server was lovely and the place is comfy and charming ..
BYOB makes it even more affordable .
The food took forever to arrive. Once arrived, we had a good feast. We were the only table so no excuse for the slowness
Terrible food, terrible service. We were there for lunch on a Saturday and it took over an hour to get our food.
Not sure if I'd recommend or not. Food was very nicely seasoned and tasted quite good. My friend ordered her salmon on the well done side, and found it was actually nearly raw in the middle. I ended up slowly eating my entree so it wouldn't get cold, and was finished by the time they returned with her salmon. The wait staff never checked back, so we had to keep trying to wave them down, and it was not at all busy there. Service was very slow. Had to ask for bread. All in all, food was good but experience was not.
Excellent food and superb service
True Mediterranean food
Great decor and love the outdoor space to eat
Food was good, but service was a little slow. Very nice staff, but it took a little long to get an appetizer and then bottle opener for wine. Would definitely go back!
Food was delicious and server great.
The service was a complete disaster. It’s unfortunate because the food is good. They’re going to have a tough time because there are so many great restaurants in the area. We tried it. We will not be back.
BYOB right now. Varied menu, nice ambiance, good food reasonably priced.
I love this place. The food was delicious and interesting. Everyone who works there was extremely nice and helpful. The room was charming.,One of my favorite experiences. Can’t wait to go back.
