Great place to go with a guest - I brought my sister from out of town and she loved it. Beautiful setting, excellent service and outstanding food. Couldn’t ask for more.
Very noisy, fun atmosphere, good food, but not up to par from previous visits. Service slow this time! Our favorite restaurant!
Went for early dinner but found out large plates and pasta aren’t served until 5
We've been here a few times in the past and always enjoyed ourselves. The food is very good - varied and interesting. Sunday brunch is very busy and the wait staff seemed distracted and scattered.
We've never been disappointed with the food and service at Ocotillo. This was our first brunch there. My husband enjoyed the brie French toast. I had the delicious eggplant meatballs and strawberry salad. All of our food was fantastic!
Although I did NOT award five stars for each category, the overall experience at Ocotillo deserves five stars. The food is unique in both presentation and flavor and all of it was very, very tasty. The service on the night we attended was a bit "off" as a food server was not able to make it on time so others had to pick up the slack and they did a great job given the work load handed to them. You won't be disappointed with Ocotillo!
Had Brunch here today with my son. Over all..what a unique little Diamond in the rough spot!
Easy to find. Didn’t seem to have a whole lot of parking area….but I didn’t have any problem getting a spot.
Greeting was friendly when we walked in…and hostess gave me a recommendation of the “Brie Stuffed French Toast”.
Long story short…very pleased with ALL aspects of our meal!!
Killer unique cocktail list and AMAZING uniquely prepared menu items!!
Familiar ingredients done in a delicious and creative way!
A must try for people who love layer of flavor!
Every item we ordered was absolutely delicious!
Definitely another “Go To” added to our favorite Restaurant rotation list!!! 👍🏼❤️
PS. The Brie stuffed French Toast was KILLAH!!! Lol
Waiter was very nice and helpful with the menu!
Highly recommend this restaurant! I do not recommend you have Patrick as your server, unfortunately
Our server Zach was great! He saw us waiting for awhile for our table & offered us drinks while we waited. The meals were extraordinary and the atmosphere was very nice. We will be coming back.
Go to place with family.
We’ve eaten at Ocotillo 3 times. The first two were amazing. Last night, not so much. On our first visit, I had pancakes and they were fantastic. Not one complaint. The second time, I had pappardelle ragu and it was so good I could have eaten another portion (even though I was completely full!). This time I wanted to try something that would fast as smoky and delicious as the restaurant smells. You get occasional whiffs of the mesquite wood they use in the kitchen and it knocks your socks off-in a good way. My husband got the ribeye and I ordered the chicken. Surely those two entrees would be infused with that delicious mesquite flavor....but no. The chicken was bland and hard to eat. It was served as a whole half chicken. Almost impossible to master without looking like a barbarian. No matter, I didn’t eat much. My husband shared his ribeye and it was fine. Nothing special. Didn’t have the mesquite flavor either. It’s counterintuitive, but I say stick with the pasta or fish dishes and you’re good to go. The pasta is fresh and flavorful and the fish is too. My husband ordered Arctic char in our second visit and it did not disappoint. I was dying to try their brisket, and may yet give it a go, but I knew what I was going for last night and it just wasn’t there. Maybe it was an off night. I’m not going to cross Ocotillo off the list, by far. I just want management to take note and step it up. The ambiance inside and out is lovely, the drinks and appetizers are great, as is their brunch and most menu items. I hope I can revise this review after our next visit. Scratch that, I’m going back for brunch or pasta next time! But I’ll get back for that brisket before summer is over...
The brunch menu is amazing. Brisket on top of polenta was so tender. Every bite was eaten of the avocado toast. Mushroom quiche was very good however some of the larger slices of mushrooms were chewy. Make sure and have the sangria and bloody Mary to wash it down with.
It was wonderful. We sat by the bar , plenty of space for everyone. The food was excellent . The drinks were refreshing. The service was perfect . Definitely is one of our favorite brunch spots.
We loved Ocotillo! We felt well taken care of and the food was amazing! We both agreed that the eggplant meatballs were our favorite hands down! So good!
We really enjoyed our time! The real star of this restaurant is their open-air area. They have a picnic table area that was outstanding. The large indoor area was quite nice as well!
Lots of outside seating with misters to keep it cool. Excellent, innovative food. The cauliflower and eggplant were especially good.
The meal was delicious. The Burrata salad we ordered was really good. I would definitely recommend the beef ribs. For the steak we asked for medium but got rare, once it was corrected it was pretty good. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant is pretty charming. Our waiter seem to be all over the place so when we needed him he wasn’t around. But once an older couple sat next to us he l seemed to be very attentive to them. Maybe it was that we were younger and they were older like himself I’m not sure but it seemed like he really tried to give the best service to them. But wasn’t quite the same with us. I wanted a second drink and as I mentioned before it took sometime for us to be able to get his attention. Overall it was a pretty good place to go.
Ocotillo is a great place to dine. Super good service and great food. Indoor and outdoor dining with a great vibe!
The food is creative and fresh. Eggplant meatballs are sublime.
Ocotillo is our favorite for all kinds of occasions. Outstanding options for vegetarians and omnivores alike. Never disappoints for a beautiful meal.
Ocotillo was wonderful to have dinner at. The service was great, the food was great, and the drinks were even better.
Our server was inattentive and had no sense of urgency when we asked for drinks, food or checks. The food was fantastic but her service made me never want to go back.
We had the best service(thank you Caleb) and food was perfection. Adding to our list of places to go
My wife and I came for brunch. Visiting from out of town, we wanted something different. Everything was excellent from service to food and quality. Definitely happy with the experience.
Had a lovely time! Patio was so nice with the misters, etc.
Amazing brunch here.
I THOUGHT THE HALIBUT COULD HAVE USED MORE FLAVOR. My wife thought it was quite delicious. She loved her smoked chicken mousse was to die for. My Ahi tuna app. was also very good.
Loved this place! Would definitely recommend to others :)
Love this place!
I visited during restaurant and overall had a fantastic time. The food was all excellent, except for the halibut which was the special. It was a bit more fishy than halibut normally is and the seasoning was fine. Their panacotta was particularly good.
Our server was the low point of the meal. While friendly, she didn’t give us her name, didn’t actually introduce herself as our server, didn’t check back on our food after it was brought out. Maybe she was new?
The food still won us over and I would definitely recommend a visit.
Everything was top notch! Thank you for always delivering a wonderful experience!
Went to Ocotillo with four friends for restaurant week. I had been to a couple other places this same week for restaurant week (making up for our lost year) and Ocotillo was so much better than the other two in terms of selection, deliciousness, and value.
Food was amazing!!!! We will definitely come back and make it a regular.
Great food but slow service. Good ambience and enjoyed my visit but took over 2 hours for our dinner with only 3 people
I enjoy outdoor dining at ocotillo. The string lights and rock wall decor and desert landscape give such a cozy feel. However, the food is always just okay for me and on both visits not super hot when it arrived to my table. I’ve had the rib-eye and the beef ribs, both were underwhelming. Really enjoyed the cauliflower though.
Ocotillo was a great restaurant for a quiet evening out. Great service, great food, and great atmosphere.
Excellent food. Service was slow and felt a bit inattentive ... good thing we weren't under a time constraint!
I would customer service, ambience and food were great!
Service was a tiny bit slow, but we were also there during peak brunch hours. Other than that, staff is very friendly, great food and cool vibe.
