My only complaint is they had run out of some of the menu items and my reservation for dinner was at 5pm on Friday night. That seems to be odd for so early on a busy weekend night. Also, the Panna Cotta for desert was not ready yet, again how did they not plan for that, there were only two items for dessert and one of them was not ready? But the food was excellent, our waiter was great, the ambiance is really nice. It just seemed like the kitchen was not very organized......
We have the food in the table, but we don't have fork, napkins, not utensils. we told the waitress was a birthday and nothing happened.
I heard so much about Ocotillo and decided to give it a try for my bday. Food was lack of flavor. The ribs were dry, Spaghetti squash aflautas to greasy .
I did like it the desserts and Sweet potato salad , halibut ceviche it was ok .

We choose the burrata cheese salad served with dried kale and dried broccoli
served beautifully.....needed some balsamic reduction or perhaps quince jam
on top as it was dry.
We choose the dried strawberry and ricotta which was awesome.....
One of us had the ribs served with french fries....excellent.
The other had the halibut....overcooked and served over cold (mostly lima beans
and little squash) they called gazpacho.....they redid the halibut and better...could not recommend.
Desserts were amazing.

Came here for restaurant week and was not disappointed. Food was excellent, service was attentive, and the ambiance was a blend of relaxed and classy that really made for a great night out. We split a bottle of wine (even though there were many unique cocktail options) and were most pleased with the burrata salad appetizer. We also really enjoyed the pork shank entree and fudge cake dessert. Would definitely come back here again and again.
I love the decor and the ambience of this place. It is a truly unique, fun and funky experience. The people there are attentive and upbeat. The food tastes delicious and the presentation couldn’t be better! I was highly impressed and that is not a common occurrence for me.

We decided to try some place new for our anniversary. This place did not disappoint at all. We walked in and were greeted with smiles, sat immediately, and Riley was there on point for us. The food was amazing, the timing of the courses were dialed in, no waiting long periods between them. I had the beef ribs and my wife had the halibut, both were awesome. This place just added to our "take family' list. We will be back, Thank You.
It was Restaurant Week and four of us tried four different appetizers, three different entrees and both desserts. All dishes were very good to excellent. Several items were unique, either in their ingredients or presentation. Service was prompt and helpful. Would definitely return.

Restaurant week and this menu was amazing. Had the sweet potato starter, chicken entree, and the fudge cake dessert.
Restaurant week enticed us to dine here. Two of us tried the Eggplant meatballs, one had the Smoked Chicken Liver Mousse and one had the Sun Dried Strawberry for the first course. Each was wonderful and the mousse could have been my entire dinner since it was a very generous serving. Two had the beef ribs which were 3 huge ribs accompanied by delicious french fries. Two had the pappardelle. Everyone loved their food. The chocolate dessert was too rich - we weren't expecting fudge with the ice cream. The coconut panna cotta was deemed fair. The service started out a little slow but then righted itself. With all restaurants experiencing shortages, we were not upset. Water glasses were refilled regularly and drinks were brought promptly. Our server, Ben, was helpful with making selections. The ambiance was nice and though we didn't sit outside, in cooler weather we will definitely ask for that. We will definitely return.

I brought my mom here for her birthday, which happens to be September, 11th. It just so happened that there were a lot of other people celebrating their birthdays here that day too! So it made her feel happy that she wasn't the only one born on this now infamous date.
We both loved Ocotillo! We ordered the chicken mousse starter with the bread made from Noble bakery. The presentation and accompaniments were wonderful! The chicken mousse would have benefited with a little Cognac and pink peppercorns to make it less bland. A larger portion of the chicken mousse would have been better too; as there wasn't quite enough to spreed on the bread. We both ordered the Halibut, which was divine! I never had such a perfectly cooked and clean tasting Halibut before.

The steak wasn’t cooked too our liking and they remade it 3 times and it was still bloody red, we honestly didn’t like the food

Great venue. I would certainly consider it for a large party and may go back again, however our experience tonight was mediocre at best.
Server was not good for this type of restaurant. Maybe it was because of the holiday (Labor Day), not sure, but he did literally nothing to enhance our experience. I mentioned in my reservation that we were celebrating my twin daughter’s birthday, and my wife mentioned it to our server directly but we might as well have said it was hot outside. No reaction whatsoever. Who doesn’t automatically say happy birthday? Weird, and if he was competent in other areas we would have assumed he somehow didn’t hear it. In any case being totally disconnected from guests makes for a disappointing experience.
Food was fine but when the service is off it distracts from everything else for this type of establishment.

Great food but VERY loud. Made rez 2 weeks in advance. Got put by waiter station w/ doors to cabinet banging. Asked to move. We did. Waiter was awesome. Got free dessert for bday. So overall...pretty good.

Our service and attention was very poor. Drinks missed, water not refilled -I got up myself to refill water for table. Waiter walked away from us mid ordering so food did not come out together. Waiter did not come back. We told him we were celebrating a birthday-never asked us about dessert. Extremely expensive meal with very poor service. Complained to owner. Will not return
The service was terrific and the food was PHENOMENAL!
The food was great. The service was not good. The server tried to take away the plates while we were still eating. He brought one coffee and never brought the other two. He brought us our bill before asking if we wanted anything else.

Food was good but the restaurant seemed short-staffed. No second drinks were offered and we only saw our server once right after our food was delivered, despite being there for a couple hours.
