Everything was amazing! My whole family enjoyed our time there! We celebrated a birthday and was given the best service! Recommend 10/10
Excellent service and love the creative food. We’ll be back!
Always amazing! Consistently great food!!!
First visit this past Sunday morning for brunch. Everything on menu seemed like it would be delicious; however, the Ocotillo Breakfast ($14) was just so-so - and rather bland - especially the hashbrowns that looked like little pieces of toast and tasted like fried mush. Asked for some salsa and was offered some clumpy "green sauce". Also had a house "Gin & Tonic" that was very watery - considering the price. Finally, the atmosphere is lovely, but the music (in bar area) was way too loud. Overall - disappointing given the price.
We were given the last remnants of the coffee. It was lukewarm and we were told that they were brewing more. We waited and waited, but never got more. At one point our waitress brought the remnants of another pot over and let the last bit drip into my fiancée’s cup, which felt like a slap in the face. The waitress explained to us that she left the spout open on the coffee machine when she made it, so it just poured straight out and they needed to brew more. At that point we were done eating and ready to leave. I told her not to worry about it and just leave the coffee off of our check. She proceeded to bring us the check with the coffee on it, and when I questioned her about it, she insisted that we be charged since we had coffee. After a heated back and forth, she said she would ask her manager to take it off, and came back with the corrected check. I don’t understand why the restaurant didn’t have plenty of coffee ready during brunch. Very disappointing experience.
Our server Alissa was amazing. Great suggestions. White sangria was perfect drink for summer. The burrata salad was so good.
Great weekend brunch. The beef ribs were fantastic.
Second time I’ve been here asked for egg white and had to explain myself
It was our first time to dine at Ocotillo. The burrata salad and halibut ceviche small plates, and the sweet corn ricotta agnolotti with shrimp entree were delicious. The temperature difference of the hot seared halibut with the cold gazpacho and beans threw me off. The dish would have been better with a warm sauce or broth instead of the gazpacho. The linguine dish was disappointing because the linguine was sticking together and the cured olives had a bitter taste. The server was nice enough to comp the linguine dish.
The service was friendly and attentive, and the dinner cocktails were delicious. I would try Ocotillo again.
Consistently delicious. The service wasn't as wonderful as it usually is, but the atmosphere and food were awesome. I always get the flautas (I can't get myself to break away yet). My guests got the brie French toast, couldn't find any brie, but they still enjoyed their meal.
This place was amazing ! I truly recommend getting the ribs!
10/10 recommend this place
Outstanding food and wine! Great atmosphere for date night. We’ll be back!
Fantastic dining experience. Seven of us and every fish was excellent. Highly recommend
Flavors of the dishes were fantastic, but noise level was really loud. Difficult to talk. Service was good. Halibut, sweet potato, roasted cauliflower and vegan meatballs were all great. Squash blossoms were very good also, but the dish was tiny!
Food was delicious and service was great. Loved the ambience too. Will definitely return!
Excellent! Everyone enjoyed.
Birthday made me feel very special
Food and drinks were delicious. Noise level was pretty high. It was hard to hear my friends sitting in front of me. The waitress didn’t pay much attention to our table. It took a while to order our food. Overall I would still recommend Ocotillo.
A lovely Father’s Day brunch at one of our favorite places. Thanks for another great dining experience!
We always love coming to eat as a family here at your restaurant. Have never had a bad experience so our Father’s Day lunch no question had to be with you all. Thank you for making today special! Our waiter was exceptional and kind and Micah went above to engage and chat with us when he was at our table. Thank you all so much, can’t wait to eat with you all again soon! Xoxo Anthony, Libby and Jett
Great food and service!
Amazing food at a fair price for the quality. Highly recommended.
Enjoyable dinner with fresh and tasty vegetarian options. Nice wine selection that is well priced. Bartender provided excellent service.
Excellent small plates, pasta course and entree. REALLY surprised by the generous quantities on the meat dishes, we left the place with more food than we ate, which is pretty amazing for such a high end food experience. That will keep us coming back for sure!
Great experience here for my girlfriends birthday. Our server was new , but was very good and gave great service. The food was excellent, however I wasn’t overly impressed with the cocktails. Excellent atmosphere and beautiful restaurant. Will definitely be back, but might just stick to beer!
Great place to go with a guest - I brought my sister from out of town and she loved it. Beautiful setting, excellent service and outstanding food. Couldn’t ask for more.
Very noisy, fun atmosphere, good food, but not up to par from previous visits. Service slow this time! Our favorite restaurant!
Went for early dinner but found out large plates and pasta aren’t served until 5
We've been here a few times in the past and always enjoyed ourselves. The food is very good - varied and interesting. Sunday brunch is very busy and the wait staff seemed distracted and scattered.
We've never been disappointed with the food and service at Ocotillo. This was our first brunch there. My husband enjoyed the brie French toast. I had the delicious eggplant meatballs and strawberry salad. All of our food was fantastic!
Although I did NOT award five stars for each category, the overall experience at Ocotillo deserves five stars. The food is unique in both presentation and flavor and all of it was very, very tasty. The service on the night we attended was a bit "off" as a food server was not able to make it on time so others had to pick up the slack and they did a great job given the work load handed to them. You won't be disappointed with Ocotillo!
Had Brunch here today with my son. Over all..what a unique little Diamond in the rough spot!
Easy to find. Didn’t seem to have a whole lot of parking area….but I didn’t have any problem getting a spot.
Greeting was friendly when we walked in…and hostess gave me a recommendation of the “Brie Stuffed French Toast”.
Long story short…very pleased with ALL aspects of our meal!!
Killer unique cocktail list and AMAZING uniquely prepared menu items!!
Familiar ingredients done in a delicious and creative way!
A must try for people who love layer of flavor!
Every item we ordered was absolutely delicious!
Definitely another “Go To” added to our favorite Restaurant rotation list!!! 👍🏼❤️
PS. The Brie stuffed French Toast was KILLAH!!! Lol
Solid food, love the menu and really nice friendly staff. The food timing always seems out of sync though. On both occasions, our appetizer and entree orders for the table did not come out at same time. Weird to do that since it would be weird and rude to eat your food before everyone’s food got to the table.
Waiter was very nice and helpful with the menu!
Highly recommend this restaurant! I do not recommend you have Patrick as your server, unfortunately
Our server Zach was great! He saw us waiting for awhile for our table & offered us drinks while we waited. The meals were extraordinary and the atmosphere was very nice. We will be coming back.
Go to place with family.
We’ve eaten at Ocotillo 3 times. The first two were amazing. Last night, not so much. On our first visit, I had pancakes and they were fantastic. Not one complaint. The second time, I had pappardelle ragu and it was so good I could have eaten another portion (even though I was completely full!). This time I wanted to try something that would fast as smoky and delicious as the restaurant smells. You get occasional whiffs of the mesquite wood they use in the kitchen and it knocks your socks off-in a good way. My husband got the ribeye and I ordered the chicken. Surely those two entrees would be infused with that delicious mesquite flavor....but no. The chicken was bland and hard to eat. It was served as a whole half chicken. Almost impossible to master without looking like a barbarian. No matter, I didn’t eat much. My husband shared his ribeye and it was fine. Nothing special. Didn’t have the mesquite flavor either. It’s counterintuitive, but I say stick with the pasta or fish dishes and you’re good to go. The pasta is fresh and flavorful and the fish is too. My husband ordered Arctic char in our second visit and it did not disappoint. I was dying to try their brisket, and may yet give it a go, but I knew what I was going for last night and it just wasn’t there. Maybe it was an off night. I’m not going to cross Ocotillo off the list, by far. I just want management to take note and step it up. The ambiance inside and out is lovely, the drinks and appetizers are great, as is their brunch and most menu items. I hope I can revise this review after our next visit. Scratch that, I’m going back for brunch or pasta next time! But I’ll get back for that brisket before summer is over...
The brunch menu is amazing. Brisket on top of polenta was so tender. Every bite was eaten of the avocado toast. Mushroom quiche was very good however some of the larger slices of mushrooms were chewy. Make sure and have the sangria and bloody Mary to wash it down with.
