Ocotillo restaurant focuses on Contemporary American seasonal cuisine with a touch of local Arizona Influence, bringing special attention to fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. You can enjoy lunch, dinner, brunch with a full service bar, cocktail, wine and beer program. Weekend brunches Saturday and Sunday fulfills all your sensory expectations. Menu offerings include healthy, vegan, gluten free choices !

During the summer months we will do the best we can to accommodate guests indoors, but we cannot guarantee indoor seating. Look forward to seeing you at Ocotillo Restaurant and Bar.

Still love this place - were able to accommodate a last minute reservation. Menu selections are still extensive however a bit disappointed in my go to meal as it was just lukewarm - not sure how long it may have sat waiting to come out. Service was slower than what i have experienced in the past

We had the best dinner here! The owner truly cares about this restaurant and all of the employees were so attentive. The food was incredible! Loved everything. Highly recommend.

Don’t really know where to start! We asked specific questions to our server and some of his responses were:- “ don’t get the crispy falafel it’s really dry and you won’t like it” “I wouldn’t get the sweet potatoes they take ages to come out” and when told one of our party is from NYC he said “oh well you aren’t going to like anything here if you are used to Michelin Star restaurants” we asked for his opinion between the Pinot Grigio and the Sauv Blanc and he responded ... “the Chenin Blanc is nice” our food came out very staggered which isn’t very nice for one person to eat alone. Finally the last plate (buckwheat pasta) came out cold. When asked if it could be made hotter ... he didn’t even apologize. It came back to the table 2 minutes later this time just lukewarm. At which point my friend asked to switch to the falafel (which incidentally was not dry!). My snails were very dry though and the garlic butter was pretty much just raw garlic in some cold butter. My cauliflower dish was terrible. I didn’t touch it after one bite but could not be bothered to complain any more. What happened Ocotillo??? This was shocking and embarrassing to bring out of town guests to.

Horrible food experience for a second time...went for Happy Hour before an event and we had slow service and our food was not only lackluster but horribly presented. Burnt falafel and undercooked chicken. Such a disappointing experience!

The Ocotillo is a favorite place for me for business lunches. This visit was a busy Sunday brunch time with family. They were "out of the quiche you want." Service was VERY slow; waited 10-12 minutes just for beverages; then another 15-20 for food. Our meals were not delivered at the same time....awkward moments for family members - "should I go ahead and start?" Folks at table next to us simply got up and walked out after waiting for service. Menu is interesting, but flavors of actual items was average or below....except good french fries.

Group of 10 met for brunch. High expectations. Place was busy and looked inviting. Good place to go for a first date! BUT the food was sorely lacking. No one enjoyed their meal. I think the place forgot it is a restaurant first and foremost. We didn't mind the slow service because we were a big party and the place was crowded. However, after waiting a long time for food, you would expect it to be right. Nope. Some of the group had been there before and said the food was better the last time. I won't be back to give it a second chance.

Had an incredible experience! Had a chance to chat with the owner and made us appreciate the food and the ambiance even more when understanding where his inspirations for the food came from. Highly recommend Ocotillo.

I would go again. food was very good. Very nice setting...cool vibe to the place. But, they do indeed need to step up their game on service. Seating process was kluge.... once seated, we were not even approached for way too long a period. Meals were delivered out of sequence and sporadically... and they never seemed to know who ordered what????

If they get this service thing figured out this place will be off the charts.

Love the parking lot but esp love the courtyard! Amazing large outdoor space—mult nooks/niches and even a bar. Perfect venue for perfect weather! Food exceeded expectations—the burrata is sized to share. Very tasty squash! Also loved the cauliflower—reluctant at first because of the kale and mint but glad our waiter suggested it. Kale was well-prepared as a tasty but not bitter pesto. I love octopus so the grilled octopus special was smoky without being chewy and totally reminiscent of Madrid! Wife had the ravioli w scallops that called to her before we even arrived! Super sweet n tender scallops topped delicate pumpkin raviolis in a delightful cream jalapeño sauce—wow! Wife will return just for that dish. We were too full for dessert but enjoyed our wine. Enjoyed talking to our waiter, the manager and other patrons. Minus one star for the crowded tables that frequently put the next table’s waitress’ bottom in our table and way too close to my face and wine.

Food was all so delicious. It was a great setting outside as it was more quiet for our large group. There was something on the menu for everyone’s preference with a lot of vegetarian options.

The grilled chicken...amazing. Good variety of drinks. My Manhattan drink was tasty and strong, just how I like it. Friendly staff, the owner was also walking around asking people how they were and thanking them for visiting. Will definitely be returning.

Great to have such a nice place closer to home. We live just around corner, dropped in for a food truck event.. We loved the location so much I then made reservations for Valentines day.
My wife daughter and I... Loved it.

Cute place, service started off amazing but ended up just average. Waited forever for the check and water remained empty. The drinks were tasty and the food tasted good however my food was cold. Not cool, but seriously cold. It was like it was frozen, the potatoes and the chicken was cool. But the taste was spot on.

I had reserved an inside table. On arrival hostess said they were full and shouldnt have accepted the reservation!! Eventually they seated us at a bar booth which was very noisy. Service was ok

We ordered the ribs and Quail. Quail was ok, nothing special, ribs were way over cooked and dry. Also, did not allow outside wine even with a corkage fee. Have never ran into that in a "fine dining" restaurant. Is his unique to Arizona?

Terrible service. Forgot an entree, let us order fries for our child then tells us Fries comes with the beef ribs after it's all in and walks away, first round of drinks during Happy Hour were was really nice glassware and appropriate size. When they doubled in price during our meal for the 2nd round they were served in hilariously small rocks glasses and took 20 minutes to get to us. Was expecting more wood fire flavor, but it was lost in the dish by being smothered in sauce. Overall, a big disappointment.

Ocotillo brunch offers many choices. Noise was very high, ambiance is pleasant, a brisket dish was very tough and only half was eaten.

Good brunch! Lots of options on the menu. The flavors were amazing, but the cut of meat I ordered was a little bit tough. I would love to go back and try something different.

While I did change my reservations to a later time we still had to wait over 15 minutes to be seated as they were running behind! The staff was great and the ambience was amazing! Food was okay...they had to take back the salmon twice before getting it right. Overall I really liked everything about the place.

What a wonderful experience a of food and welcome. The menu offers interesting preparations. The beef ribs were amazing and the pork shank was out of this world. The staff was friendly and service felt personal. We will be back!

What a great vibe. Beautiful and fun setting. Guests included 'kids of all ages.' Really creative food, but you better like the chef's seasoning as salt and pepper are not on the tables. All 4 of us said we'd return.

The meat was tasty with the teeny piece
I was able to cut. The meat was like shoe leather and inedible.
I make brisket frequently-it needs to cook for a long time to become tender,because it’s not a top grade of
Beef, but tasty when property cooked.
I will return, but not for that dish!

Food was not the best. Steaks were either undercooked or overcooked. Food was forgotten and it was pretty expensive for what it was. The atmosphere was great, just not pleased with service or food.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! The food is original and wonderful. A wide variety of choices to satisfy everyone. The ambiance is really nice and cozy. The service was excellent! Everyone was very nice and professional, provided great recommendations. I would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to dining here again!

We have been to Ocotillo several times and always enjoyed it. The staff is very knowledgable and makes great recommendations. Cocktails and food are inventive and delicious. This particular visit the pumpkin ravioli and scallops were amazing! And I always love the burrata. We do find it a little pricey and the noise level can be overwhelming indoors - still well worth the investment.

The problem I had was with the food. The ambiance and look of the restaurant are great.

I ordered the Mesquite Chicken. It arrived cold and undercooked. My Bloody Mary was so spicy it was barely drinkable.

Ocotillo is a very lively spot! Our server was extremely helpful as he explained their menu’s set up, advised on portion sizes and suggested wine pairings. The food was beautifully prepared and the wine list well thought out. The maitre d’ came around at the end for a short chat, too, making for a very personal experience.

Sat outside with heater in January. Nice Note community tables but we had a whole table to ourselves at 6 pm on Saturday.
Our waiter was over whelmed with a large table. So the bartender Maya stepped in. What a pleasure. Everyone there worked together to make the customer happy.

Maya recommended the chicken with the rooster comb pasta. Come hungry or share. It is a rich norther Italian dish that reminded me of cassoulet without beans. Fantastic. Truly great for a chilly evening. The chef came out and asked us about our meal. Classy touch.

Husband had the ravioli with Scallops also excellent but the chicken was phenomenal.

Nice and quiet for a weekend evening. We are definitely going back.
