We very much e joyed our dinner, we shared fried calamari and both had the grilled shrimp with lemon rice and corn.
The shrimp were delicious and plenty of them.
Drinks were ok,as the bar seems to specialize in frozen drinks more than martinis!
Still overall very good service and we had a very enjoyable evening.
It would be nice to get bread with a $50. Steak.
Inside and outside dining. Limited menu but tuna poke, oysters and shrimp very good. Wine list not great for wine lovers. A typical beach/poolside restaurant.
Literally our worst meal experience ever. ONE crab leg for $38. Don’t waste your time or money.
Great outdoor casual atmosphere and the wait staff are incredible! Especially Omar & Leslie!
Beautiful place to sit and enjoy dinner!
Our server took great care of us but the food was mediocre at best. Menu is very limited; no choice of side items and no choice of prep style. For what you get the price is very high.
There are so many great restaurants in Fernandina Beach that are much better.
I can't recommend this restaurant.
Don’t waste your money! There are plenty of other places to get reheated frozen food at a better price. My two preteen girls each ordered a fried shrimp pail, but we were charged $39 each for a shrimp entree. The waiter disappeared when I questioned the charges. I ended up getting a hostess to run my credit card but still at twice the cost of what was ordered. Major disappointment!
Casual but fun. They serve goldfish while you wait for your food which is very cute. We had a nice time
We are here for lunch one day on our trip and it was fantastic! We had crab legs, oysters, and lots of tuna! The one item you should not pass up is the burger!!! That burger was by far the best burger we’ve had! Only down side is that burger is not offered at dinner. Beautiful location by the Atlantic and the resort pools.
Also, the lemon lavender cocktail is amazing!
Not much good to say except excellent view of Ocean.
Wonderful experience would definately visit again
Waitress was a bit disappointing, not very attentive. Salad should have come out before main dish.
Birthday dinner. Great casual ambiance. Our table had a beautiful view. The food snd service were good but not wow. They did not acknowledge the birthday celebration even though I heard the hostess say to the server it’s a birthday dinner... no big deal.. they just miss on little touches...
Great view of the ocean. Casual restaurant with excellent seafood. Nice cocktails and wine. Very knowledgeable server.
Delicious food and very fun atmosphere. Casual dining poolside with a view of the ocean. Indoor seating includes live music. Limit menu and wouldn’t recommend if you don’t like seafood. The lemon lavender drink is delicious!
The menu has a great variety of fish, simple preparation but very high priced. $45 for grilled grouper with white rice and corn on the cob. $18 cocktails.
Great food and views. Felt a bit rushed by the staff and they were not busy at all.
We sat outside on the patio. The table was a glass top and not very clean. There was even an ant walking on the table.. I received a salad in a bowl but didn't have a placemat, plate or even a napkin to put my silverware on. So I tried to balance them on the bowl. My lobster tail came with no drawn butter so it was very dry. The lobster came with rice and corn both of which were cold and not appetizing so I didn't eat either. I have to say our server was attentive despite taking care of most of the patio tables, one of which had about 12 people. I can't really recommend Oceanside as a dinner restaurant but more of a lunch or drinking establishment with snacks and quick bites.
We are staying at the omni and wanted to eat as close to the ocean as possible so this fit the bill. Our server, Adam, was very nice. We enjoyed joking around with him. The food was good. I had the poke bowl and it was healthy and tasted good. My husband had the mahi mahi and it was good as well. The view was terrific. The restaurant was a typical hotel restaurant. We ate outside.
If you love having an ocean view, this is the place.
Not impressed!! Food was just marginal and way overpriced. Also it is very hard to get to if you are not staying at the hotel. My advice, try someplace else.
WE dined at most of the restaurants on The Plantation property and this did not live up to their standards. Three young woman stood at the hostess desk, in clothing that was inappropriate, to tight, bellies hanging out, constantly pulling up pants. They stood and talked without wearing their masks. People were waiting to be seated. They argued over where people should be seated and when a gentlemen who appeared to be inc hage they slipped on their maks, until he left. They were on their phone and very noisy- understand we were seated very close to the stand so it was impossible to ignore.s. The food handler did not wear his masks properly, though he was friendly. My cocktail had less scotch than lemon juice and we waited forever for the food. Our waiter was not knowledgeable., our salads and entrees came at the same time. We could not help but notice, the empty/ but bussed tables while people waited for seats. A little ingenuity and rearranging a table or two, 12 people could have been seated in different tables rather quickly. The "man with the Keys" didn't wear a mask either and he too stood and talked other girls at the desk. There was one small, wearing clothes that fit her properly girl, long black hair in a pony-tail, who tried to keep the front area moving, emptyinging trash, serving drinks, talking to the waiting patrons. etc. we re restaurant people and could go on and on.
Very nice with beautiful ocean views and overall ambiance.
Oceanside at the Omni ... not fancy at all but comfortable. Food was tasty and service was good.
Previous menu was more to our liking. Quite expensive compared to our many previous visits. Not likely to return as often.
Our meal was very good. We had grouper with rice and roasted carrots. Tried to sub rice for mashed potatoes but they had run out. Little overpriced especially since rice was side dish but still tasty and looking out at ocean while eating is what vacation is all about. Also our waiter Perry was great!
We had requested indoor seating, but it was hardly indoor. 2 large doors were wide open, allowing a rather brisk breeze (wind) into the indoor seating area. We had been seated right near one of the open doors, and I had to switch places with my husband (who tolerates cold much better than I do). The manager closed 1 of the 2 doors for us. I understand that this is a poolside venue, but the indoor seating section should have been "indoors". They didn't have "Zero" beer, and my king crab legs arrived cut in half, which made them dry and tasteless. A waste of $39. I ordered a 9 oz glass of wine, but there was no way it was 9 oz. - pretty sure it was 6 oz (but I was charged for 9 oz). I had been drinking 9 oz glasses at other restaurants during this vacation, and this one didn't last nearly as long. A disappointing Mother's Day experience.
Great high table overlooking the beach but around the corner from the crowd.
Outside table with a view. Great service. Food was delicious but seemed overpriced.
We didn't know what to expect so we were very pleased with our experience with the ocean view. At first blush we were surprised by how the outdoor dining felt as if we were eating on a poolside patio. However, our server Rachel was such a fun server and the view of the sunset was so romantic our perception changed in a big way as the evening progressed. Then the food arrived! My husband ordered a Caesar salad and we both ordered the "Dina shrimp entree. The sauce on the wonderfully fresh local shrimp was "to die for" as they say and will bring us back for this same dish again. We ordered the banana pudding desert and loved every silky smooth bite. We're local so this has been added to our A list for places to take guests for dinner! There will be sea birds trying to join your table from time to time but it's all a part of being oceanside.
What a wonderful place to eat. Rachel and Charlie were so helpful with our meals, helping us with our choices. We didn’t wait long for our food and it was so tasty. Awesome place to eat, I would eat there again.
Great food, service a little slow. Beautiful location!
Oceanside dining with a beautiful view. Food options were fairly good
The food was decent but somewhat over priced for what you got. To be expected somewhat for a resort. The service was awful. 20 minutes to be greeted. Asked 3 times for water. Asked for the check multiple times. If you are going to charge $30 for a sale and $18 for a glass of wine you expect a bit more
Wonderful evening with friends and family. Delicious meal and drinks.
Slow service, got the drinks wrong....lost one entry, salad was sent back 2x's and still not right....very noisy, not what the pics on the website looks like.
Over priced, Over Priced, Over Priced....Do not wast your time or money.
Grouper sandwich and shrimp po boy very tasty but over priced - drinks over priced but ok. Wait staff excellent!!!
View beautiful of ocean and pool. The seating staff was the horrible— they were extremely unwelcoming— we were very uncomfortable
Highly recommend. Outstanding! Service and food were impeccable.
The fish was excellent. As it should be at a fish restaurant; however, in what culinary world is a $45 entree served with rice and two pieces of corn on the cob! Good grief last time checked they are both carbs. Astonishing.
