Great food, service a little slow. Beautiful location!
Oceanside dining with a beautiful view. Food options were fairly good
The food was decent but somewhat over priced for what you got. To be expected somewhat for a resort. The service was awful. 20 minutes to be greeted. Asked 3 times for water. Asked for the check multiple times. If you are going to charge $30 for a sale and $18 for a glass of wine you expect a bit more
Slow service, got the drinks wrong....lost one entry, salad was sent back 2x's and still not right....very noisy, not what the pics on the website looks like.
Over priced, Over Priced, Over Priced....Do not wast your time or money.
Grouper sandwich and shrimp po boy very tasty but over priced - drinks over priced but ok. Wait staff excellent!!!
View beautiful of ocean and pool. The seating staff was the horrible— they were extremely unwelcoming— we were very uncomfortable
Highly recommend. Outstanding! Service and food were impeccable.
The fish was excellent. As it should be at a fish restaurant; however, in what culinary world is a $45 entree served with rice and two pieces of corn on the cob! Good grief last time checked they are both carbs. Astonishing.
We had a large party of 16. The restaurant staff was very accommodating, & communicative. We had excellent service, great music, and some great dishes! Everyone had an enjoyable time! Highly recommend!
Food was over cooked and the prices were off the charts.
Food was high quality and very flavorsome. Service the opposite. Hostess grunted at us and didn’t lift her head off her arm while talking to us... took 15 mins to order a drink and 45 mins for food to come - which all came at the same time - appetizers and mains. I’d expect a lot more from the Omni.
Made reservations at 5pm and seating immediately. Our waitress took our order for our drinks and brought out within a few minutes. She then took our ordered, that took 30 minutes to come out for chicken tenders (that were overcooked), chicken wings and fried shrimp. The food wasn’t warm. Overall, the service was not the best and food was overpriced.
The crab cake was very salty and the server was non existent during our meal.
The service was terrible. We waited 10 minutes just to get water, then another 10 minutes for the server to take our drink order. It was not crowded and there seemed to be plenty of servers in the restaurant. I would not go back there again.
The worst meal that we had on our vacation to Omni Amelia Island. Had lunch there a few days prior and it was alright. This dinner was terrible. Both my wife and I had fish that was barely edible. Corn on the cob tasted like it had been sitting on a buffet all day. In addition, the meal was very expensive. They should stick to the lunch menu. We won't make that mistake again, there better options just a short drive away.
Restaurant was out of most items. Food was overcooked and expensive for what it was.
The food was better than expected but the service was very slow. I think our server was inexperienced - he was very nice though.
Bird's swooped down and grabbed leftover food off plates after patrons left! A little unnerving.
Views of the ocean great and the boiled shrimp and seafood chowder were superb!!
Excellent service and good food...
Extremely disappointed. Shrimp was cold & not seasoned. Calamari was tough and rubbery. Service was lacking and restaurant very loud.
Despite the many poor reviews, my wife wanted to celebrate our anniversary with a water view. So we booked a reservation at the Oceanside. What a mistake. We were seated and after waiting for 30 minutes, we left. No one ever came to our table. This isn't a big restaurant, maybe 20 tables at most. Pathetic is too kind to describe this poorly run establishment. One star is inappropriate for this place.
High top table was not available. Everything was ok but no great.
Very over-priced. Nice, helpful waitress. Excellent quality fish, but unimaginative and lame preparations; way too expensive. My daughter had the special with Mahi Mahi ($30) and I had the grouper ($45) - exact same preparation- plain rice, not cooked well, and a couple of small, plain corn cobs.
Uneven, one evening delicious the next inedible
Definitely needed more servers for the amount of tables in the restaurant. We waited at least 10-15 before anyone came and greeted us at our table. We ordered oysters and they were dropped off at our table with no plates and nothing to accompany them like crackers or cocktail sauce. The food was average and definitely expensive for the portions. We were staying at the hotel so it was very convenient for us to eat at this restaurant. Will probably not return.
Served the wrong dinner and server never checked back to see if everything was ok. Ordered a 2nd drink to go with dinner but it arrived after we were done eating.
We had a great dinner by the ocean. Ordered the Shrimp Basket, Short Ribs, Noodle bowl and a kids chicken dinner. The waitress came by to ask how it was and we commented that the Noodle bowl was a little strange, and she agreed, she brought out a complimentary desert to make up for it, which was so kind without us even asking.
Food and atmosphere was awesome.
Roasted chicken with slaw and olantains delicious.
The experience was mediocre at best. After a long day on the road we were looking forward to a nice meal in a nice setting. What we got was disappointing. The food was adequate. The wait staff were less than efficient. The space was cool and drafty. Could have been a better experience with a bit of effort.
Really enjoyed eating here. Friendly service and have great shrimp.
It was Valentines Day dinner for me and my wife!
It was everything I expected and more!!
Entrees are rather small for the price. Disappointed that the crab cake entree looked more like an appetizer. Margarita was served in an old fashion glass.
I thought I made a reservation at the Ocean Club. This was switched to the Ocean side which has little to recommend it. I will say this was the worst $200 Dinner I have had to date.
Smallish portions; higher prices. Quite casual, this is a spot to pick for easy, poolside bite to eat. Nothing serious, and limited menu.
Beautiful view/property but food is over priced and just not that good. Server was nice but for the price I expected more.
Enjoyable. Will go again.
A lovely spot next to the pool at the Omni resort. The food was fine--there was much better seafood to be had on the Island off the resort property, however. If you are there, it's worth a visit just for convenience's sake. Absolutely not worth a special trip.
Enjoyed the meal. Watched the 49ers win their division title.
Absolutely horrible food. Inedible kale salad, stale kale, mediocre ingredients and sorry presentation.
A big disappointment on a lovely stretch of beach.
