We had a great dinner by the ocean. Ordered the Shrimp Basket, Short Ribs, Noodle bowl and a kids chicken dinner. The waitress came by to ask how it was and we commented that the Noodle bowl was a little strange, and she agreed, she brought out a complimentary desert to make up for it, which was so kind without us even asking.
Food and atmosphere was awesome.
Roasted chicken with slaw and olantains delicious.
The experience was mediocre at best. After a long day on the road we were looking forward to a nice meal in a nice setting. What we got was disappointing. The food was adequate. The wait staff were less than efficient. The space was cool and drafty. Could have been a better experience with a bit of effort.
Really enjoyed eating here. Friendly service and have great shrimp.
It was Valentines Day dinner for me and my wife!
It was everything I expected and more!!
Entrees are rather small for the price. Disappointed that the crab cake entree looked more like an appetizer. Margarita was served in an old fashion glass.
I thought I made a reservation at the Ocean Club. This was switched to the Ocean side which has little to recommend it. I will say this was the worst $200 Dinner I have had to date.
Smallish portions; higher prices. Quite casual, this is a spot to pick for easy, poolside bite to eat. Nothing serious, and limited menu.
Beautiful view/property but food is over priced and just not that good. Server was nice but for the price I expected more.
Enjoyable. Will go again.
A lovely spot next to the pool at the Omni resort. The food was fine--there was much better seafood to be had on the Island off the resort property, however. If you are there, it's worth a visit just for convenience's sake. Absolutely not worth a special trip.
Enjoyed the meal. Watched the 49ers win their division title.
Absolutely horrible food. Inedible kale salad, stale kale, mediocre ingredients and sorry presentation.
A big disappointment on a lovely stretch of beach.
Ok but nothing special. Drink prices were outrageous. Food prices Ok.
New Year’s Eve dinner with my family
If I could give zero stars on this I would. It does have a nice view of the ocean but the food was not good at all. We ordered a Calamari appetizer that had so much breading on it that we could not eat it. The main course of fried shrimp was also heavily breaded. Save your money and avoid this restaurant.
Wanted a place close by for NYE, and could only get an early reservation which was fine because we could watch the sunset. The location and view are excellent. The restaurant was fairly empty, and although they could not find the Open Table reservation, they seated us quickly. We had 3 separate servers come to our table to take drink orders and tell us the specials so clearly there was confusion and miscommunication. Waited at least 20 minutes for our drinks. Appetizers came out and an additional server was visibly annoyed when we asked for silverware, napkins and appetizer plates. They brought the plates out after we received our dinner meals. They brought 1 entree out incorrectly, never refilled drinks and we waited for an eternity for the check. Food was adequate, typical pool restaurant food, but the service was horrendous. Would not recommend for dinner.
We loved it. Nice view. Great wait staff. Food was
Delicious we loved the spicy tuna
Like we had it for lunch the next day !
loved it...will definitely be back. good food, service, ambiance and value.
I would not recommend this restaurant if you’re not already staying at the resort. It’s impossible to find, and there’s very little signage to tell you where to park and how to get to the actual restaurant. We walked for twenty minutes before we finally found it, with my elderly father. The food was fine, and I appreciate that they were open on Christmas (not many places are in this area), but I don’t know that I’d go back again because it was such a convoluting mess getting there.
This location had great potential with a marvelous view to start your visit.
Staff were confused with some help from a manager.
We asked for prime rib medium rare but got well done.
Sauce was very good, veggies ok.
Step back and see what you have.
Every guest visit should be an experience.
Food was overpriced for the quality served and was served cold, except steak
Attentive & friendly server. We made some special requests as far as substitutions and preparation, and our server never hesitated. The kitchen prepared everything just like we wanted it. Pretty setting although too quiet and empty. They even sent us with cocktails to take back to the hotel room. Highly recommended.
Enjoyed wonderful al fresco Thanksgiving meal still the Oceanside. Our server Bridgette was sweet and very attentive. Our meal was non- traditional. Prime rib instead of turkey. One of the best slices of prime rib I have ever had.
Quick and easy dining. Beautiful view and can dine in or+out depending on the wind and temp.
Food was horrible First time I have ordered take out from another restaurant while in a restaurant eating
Food was excellent, but portions were a bit smaller than expected for the prices charged.
Yes for lunch! Dinner was soso! Our waiter was really good and attentive.
Menu was boring and food was not memorable.
The filet was very disappointing. It tasted very fishy which was unpleasant. The side said “sweet potato” and ended up being a sweet potato puree which is fine but I would have chosen a different side if i knew that ahead of time. I was expecting an actual baked sweet potato. Other than that, the drinks were great and the atmosphere was fun.
Oceanside is a very nice place to eat. The food was above average, as was the service.
The only real negative was the incredibly loud sound the chairs make sliding on the floor. I noticed several groups complaining about the noise, which was hard to converse over. Plastic sliders could make for an easy fix to help the ambiance of the restaraunt.
No soup, no salad just a couple of tablespoons of pureed sweet potatoe two slices of mushroom and the filet on top which was overcooked for 31.00 per person?. I think we saw our waiter twice, to order and get our check. Dinner at a restaurant should be an experience, this was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. This was supposed to be our anniversary dinner and you RUINED it.
Extremely hot. Everyone at our table was sweating & couldn’t really enjoy our meal. The AC was on but it just wasn’t sufficient to cool on such a hot summer day. Suggest fans that can help move the air.
The food is/was excellent. Service was not up to speed at all....very uneven. Noise level was horrendous and makes simple conversation difficult. Highly recommend food but eat outside, not inside....and just be forceful with wait staff.
Lovely location. Food was tasty and light. Our server was attentive and helpful. The kitchen was a bit slow, however it allowed us to enjoy conversation.
Grilled chicken with mashed ended up as chicken fingers and well over done. The sesame chicken had way too much sesame seeds but tasty. The service was good and the ocean view was everything. Great for lunch serving the pool areas but not worth the value for dinner.
