   The service was excellent. The place is beautiful and the food was memorable. From the cocktails to the sushi this restaurant started with a explosion. Into dinner with black cod, roast chicken and a dry aged NY strip, it continued to impress. Looking forward to next time.

   It was an amazing experience and can't wait to go back. The hostess set the tone and the experience only got better from there. The drinks were very good, well balanced and beautiful to look at. The aesthetic of the restaturant is what made me want to try it and it's beautiful on the inside and outside. Our server was knowledgable of the menu and attentive. The manager went above and byond by getting the ingrediants to make me a lychee martini! A server took the time to walk me to the restroom. The quality of service was oustanding. It is what high end restuarants strive to achieve and few do. They did everyhting right.

   As always a thankful appreciation from my impeccable taste guest. So far been able to bring family, close friends, clients, and/or intimate dinners to Oceans and the variety of palates, simple and elegant dishes, and most of all unobtrusive and attentive service keeps it a first choice for me. The ambience and crowd is great too - lively yet comfortably classy.

   Great ambiance and food. Celebrated my mother’s birthday and everything was perfect. The server did forget my drink order but she was swamped so it was understandable. Definitely recommend!

   One of the best fine dining experiences I've ever had. Recommendations were on point for drinks and food. No frills. Anything requested was delivered and I never felt like a bother. Even when knowing you're bound to spend good money, some places make you feel bad just for asking for some minutes to decide on your main course but these servers read body language pretty well. The food was DELICIOUS. I mean even sides that seem safe and basic ended up being the best I've ever had. Truth be told. If you need accommodations, just ask. All the staff was helpful.

    I booked Oceans to celebrate my husband’s birthday! What a wonderful experience! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, everyone we interacted with was wonderful! The atmosphere and food were AMAZING! Our table was great and our waiter was just fantastic! Thank you to the oceans team for making my husband’s birthday such a special celebration! We can’t wait to visit again!

    Currently our favorite restaurant! Went for my birthday in January and then my husbands in July. We even had the same server, Keri was phenomenal both times! The entire staff was kind, friendly and took such good care of us. We literally repeated our order because it was so delicious the first time! Dynamite roll, shrimp scampi (to die for!!) filet mignon, truffle fries and lobster Mac and cheese!! And the bread… everything so perfect! For both birthdays they made sure to make our desserts (chocolate molten cake and strawberry cheesecake) special with happy birthday messages and candles! The drinks delicious too. The decor stunning. The vibes on point. Peaceful and yet buzzing! The table both times were comfortable and felt private! They have a bunch of private dining options as well throughout the restaurant. Seriously has been the best dining experience we’ve had in quite some time! Every detail appreciated! We are already looking forward to our next visit!

    To be honest, I had high hopes for Oceans. The open kitchen is beautiful, and the fish are nicely displayed, but the food was…bland. The toro ($42) appetizer was lacking any discernible flavor or texture. The jumbo shrimp cocktail is supposedly poached in grapefruit and chili, but neither grapefruit nor chili flavor could be detected. Don’t get me wrong: the quality of the shrimp was excellent, but it tasted like every shrimp cocktail I’ve ever had. The Hawaiian Walu entree had a fairly generic curry flavor, and my lobster roll was…a lobster roll. I was expecting something a little differentiating, but it was comparable to any lobster roll you’ve likely had. The highlight of the meal was definitely the spicy yellowtail roll with pickled jalapeño, which was excellent. Also: we went during restaurant week, but ordered a la cart. There was an appetizer on the restaurant week menu I wanted to order (and repeatedly offered to pay extra for it), but they refused to let me order it a la carte. I can understand not allowing those ordering the prix fixe menu to make substitutions, but I’ve never heard of a restaurant not allowing you to order restaurant week items for an upcharge.

    Always love our experiences at Oceans! The whole fish sashimi is really unique and so, so fresh. The service really is above and beyond, and no matter what table you get, it always feels somewhat private and intimate. One of my favorite restaurants in new york!

    we previously dined at several Top Table restaurants in Vancouver and Whistler and were anxious to try Oceans. pleasant upscale interior and crowd with reasonable noise level service good and professional. began with an insipid mezcal cocktail which was the evening's only bummer. ordered a whole fish sashimi (Japanese fish) which was fresh plentiful and perfectly presented and seasoned honestly the best I've ever had. for dinner we ordered a whole John Dory which was also excellent. Dinner was complimented by a crisp Italian varietal from Congno vineyards chosen by an extremely professional and knowledgeable som any som can pick a $250 wine which will not disappoint. only one who truly knows his list can do the same for under $100 we can't wait to return

    My husband and I live in Florida primarily and Québec, Canada, in the summer. We have a pièd-à-terre apartment in NYC, and every time we are there we eat happily, never disappointed, at Oceans. This week we had another great meal, with excellent wine at this restaurant. We suggest it to all our friends and family!

    The service at Ocean is above and beyond what I ever experienced in all my restaurant visits in the USA and abroad. When the chef was told that he does not have my choice of fish (due to the late hour ) I was promised that the next time regardless of the hour it will be waiting for me. And so it was. I love the black sea Bass it was grilled and served to perfection Love the food, the wine collection, the attention to details and above all the professional service.
