Oceans, a locally and globally inspired seafood restaurant, was founded by Vancouver’s award-winning Toptable Group with the philosophy of creating a timeless and approachable dining experience. Executive Chef Andy Kitko sets the vision for the menu inspired by the Pacific, Atlantic, and Mediterranean shores that will feature the freshest catches available all accented by seasonal ingredients.

    Located at the corner of Park Avenue South and 19th Street in the heart of Union Square, Oceans offers large group tables in our dining room on Sundays and Mondays that are perfect for your next gathering of friends, family, or colleagues for parties for up to 10 guests. Executive Chef Andy Kitko’s seasonally focused, seafood-forward menus feature exquisite tartares, premium chilled seafood, sushi, and signature fish entrees. Prime cuts and vegetarian options round out the bountiful menu.     Fabulous from start to finish! 2nd time here. Sommelier helped us choose an outstanding sparkling from Italy. Nebbiolo based, beautifully deep flavor! Tuna Tartare was exceptional and different! Bits of Japanese pear mixed in gave it greater depth of flavor with a touch of sweetness. Whole fish sashimi is just amazing! We had the Golden eye. Sweet and stunning. Truffle fries did not disappoint (we leveled those first while fresh and hot!) For dessert, we tried the cherry cheesecake and the pear/chocolate concoction. Both were fantastic. Mixed textures and flavors. A wonderful end. Service was both attentive and helpful in making perfect selections. We will be back again!

    Continues to be all round the best restaurant in NYC for food , service, wine list and atmosphere. You can actually talk and listen here. To me, the restaurant is exceptional.

    We’ve been going to this restaurant for many years, several times a year. We love the food, the service, and the general ambience. Congratulations to anyone who decides to try it out. Yummmmm.

    Always a great time. The food was amazing! Every Sushi Roll, the Branzino, Lamb Pasta, Dover Sole, Tuna Tartare, Lobster Mac, Lava Cake, etc- all exceptional!

    We used to come we love Oceans. Cory was absolutely amazing. I won’t come back without him taking care of us again!!! He is the best.

    We’ve been here multiple times, maybe 10 times. We always get the mushroom soup, I crave and think about this soup. Today was lacking. And service was spotty, even though they meant well, but they just didn’t seem to know what they were doing.

    Lobster roll was ok not great. Black cod in miso was excellent. Great drinks too. Waiter and front of house wonderful!
