The food was wonderful, and Michael was an exceptional waiter! It was a wonderful night of tremendous dining! Thank you for a great evening!
The dinner was delicious! I had bronzino and au gratin potatoes and my husband had crab cakes and asparagus.
I also had a raspberry Sangria which was delicious. Service was outstanding. Our waiter Keith even validated
our parking ticket!
Great meal, great location, outstanding service. The highlights: Best selection of fresh oysters in greater Orlando, delicious lobster bisque, outstanding wine list, and the service team was extroverted, funny, and attentive, without "hovering". The only issue was that one of the dishes (Sesame Crusted Tuna) was sub-par, and the waiter had to return twice to tell us they were out of dishes we had ordered (on a Monday night, with less than 30% of capacity).
My halibut was dry and the flavor it had was from a lot of salt on the bottom. The manager did okay taking it off my bill. My husband’s scallops were great. The waiter was very nice but seemed distracted. I wouldn’t go back.
Always on the Mark!!My favorite restaurant in Orlando!
We enjoyed a great Mother's Day brunch! My wife wants to go back and try Happy Hour.
It was great food, great service. Pricey than I had anticipated, but overall great atmosphere & value.
The Oceanaire Seafood Room is a Landry Select restaurant and as such we received the service expected. The wait staff was excellent, we were visited by three of the management staff, this was unexpected and not the usual – one yes but three? The food was outstanding. All in All a very enjoyable pre Mother’s Day celebration.
I love the stuffed triggerfish. My husband enjoyed the monkfish. He is more adventuresome than me and has tried a variety of Oceanaire's fish specialties. The staff is always attentive. Oceanaire is our favorite venue for great seafood!!
Very nice selection of fresh seafood.
Some good food with really poor service. - I recently treated my work colleagues, eight of us, to a dinner at Oceanaire and while the food was good the service was inattentive and slow. Perhaps the staff was too busy watching Game of Thrones in a Sunday night when the restaurant was fairly empty. Or perhaps the emptiness is a result of the bad service.
Food was great! We ordered from the special Spring menu which was more than enough food. Glad we did because the regular menu was a bit pricey, but has big portion sizes.
Great food, great service!
Food was great
Everything was grand. The service was perfect the food was delicious
First time there and won’t be our last!
This is the second time I have eaten here. I thought the first time wasn’t that great because they were busy. Not the case. They were not busy at all this time as we eat around 6pm. The food was just plain terrible. The clam chowder was ok. The rest of the food was no good. If you go to this area go to Capital Grill next door. You will be money ahead. The bread bowl was better than all of Oceanaire whole meal.
The service was stellar, however the food was a complete let down. The people called me because I left my credit card. I hope that the taste of the food was just a fluke on that day because the ambiance and service was great!!!
It was just ok. Service was good. Does not compare with other restaurants for the same price.
Too Espensive and food too complicated ...
it used to be better years ago
The setting is nice although it is quite dark and some people had trouble reading the wine list. The service is a bit overbearing with waiters overly formal for this level of restaurant. The food was good but not great. The dynamite preparation was really really spicy for a fish dish. The ceviche was just pretty bland. The sesame- covered seared tuna was very tender. They sell their side dishes as extras, like a steakhouse, and claim that they are really big (to be shared). That is not the case ! There was about 8 asparagus in the order. These guys don’t eat much vegetables! There was a nice selection of wines by the glass. Overall, the price of the restaurant is a big turn off. Appetzers, sides and wine were really prices for maximum profit. Frankly, I didn’t feel like it deserved it.
been to better ones other places in the country. oysters had some shell in them, octopus was a little tough, shellfish was a little over cooked.. .none big enough to be reportable to a manager but all the little things added up to a less refined experience than ive had at other versions of this restaurant.
Food was delicious! Drinks were great and the service was on point. It was the perfect romantic night to celebrate a birthday. The circular booths are really nice.
Oceanaire is expensive, and as such, the food should be perfect. The lobster tail was completely overcooked to the point where it was stuck to the shell. We should have sent it back. The shrimp was also overcooked. The entree portions were SMALL. However, everything was beautifully presented. The service was very good. The reason for the "no" recommendation is that Orlando has many seafood restaurants, and there are so many with better quality seafood that this.
Oceanaire made our Birthday celebration very special.
This a go to restaurant that never disappoints.
Service was very good but most of the food was not. Lobster bisque had no flavor the shrimp app was salty with no flavor. My halibut was $43 and was a small piece of dred out over cooked fish. On the food side my wife enjoyed her triggerfish and our dessert was good. Very disappointed to spend over $200 on dinner for 2 and leave without being wowed !
The service by Brett was outstanding. We ordered 2 chef special dishes on the menu and the servings were small and very uninspired and not nearly as tasty as menu description. . Would not order again. The sourdough bread was delicious served when seated but the “ relish” tray was pathetic, 2 olives, one pickle, half a radish, 3 carrot matchsticks, 2 cucumber rounds.
You would be better off ordering the simple grilled fish and adding a side. The BLT salad was large enough to share but realize it was 4 lettuce leaves with 4 slices of tomato and crumbled bacon with buttermilk dressing.
Way overpriced for what we had. Capital Grill would have been a wiser call.
The best service I have experienced for a non-private club or establishment. The food was superb. Try the shrimp and grits, crab cake, just one served, salmon which has a smoke taste and the state of the art Angry Red Snapper served head to tail. The snapper is a bit pricey compared to other locations... There is a $5.00 cost for making it ’angry’ (a small amount of sriracha and aioli sauce strewn over the snapper). It was huge and warmed great the next day making a meal for two. The Key Lime pie delicious and super rich! Two of us are on the pie for two days and still discarded some. No drinks, two people, leftovers for two more meals, out the door including gratuity $170.
We were told it was over an hour wait for a table. Then I went on open table and right there reserved for 28 minutes later. The bartender was argumentative insisting the wine we ordered was not what we thought it was. The wait service was terrible as he took forever to show up and then to check on us for anything or pour the wine. The food was great. No visit from the manager to see if we were happy, which usually happens. Not the nest location of this chain I have been to. Next time we’re in that area capital grill next door will be our first choice.
Disappointed. 4 wait staff appeared at table upon arrival. However had to ask for bread later and wait for someone for refills. Food was good but due to overall satisfaction with our group we will not go back when in town.
Except from the place being VERY dark, we had a wonderful dinner! Would surely go back again.
Noisy, not tasty and check overcharged
Very good dinner!!! Brett offered excellent service to us! Only complaint was we didn’t get a booth as we requested in our reservation.
The service and food is outstanding! It was my birthday celebration and I felt very special! Love this place!
Excellent service and food!! We enjoyed ourselves and was extremely pleased with our dining choice. We will definitely be returning!
Great experience! Michael was a great server!
The food was amazing and worth the price. Wine was great and the rocking mountain marshmallow with brownie was delicious.
Excellent food and excellent service. Would recommend to anyone
Wonderful meal, great service, terrific ambiance, and fair value. I highly recommend this restaurant for any event. We had a very enjoyable evening.
