Oceanaire Seafood Room - Orlando Ratings and Reviews
My wife and I enjoyed Magical Dining for our Anniversary. The food was exceptional. Well seasoned and prepared to perfection. Our server Steven was excellent. The entire staff went out of their way to wish us a Happy Anniversary and made the evening extra special. Free valet parking as well! I have already recommended this restaurant to several friends and we will be back again as well! Thank you for a lovely night!
This place reeked of fish when you enter. Anyone who enjoys fresh seafood knows fresh seafood does NOT smell. Our waiter was rude when I asked him about bread stating in an arrogant tone, “I don’t do that. Someone else will bring it.” It’s hard to believe this is part of the Landry’s family. The manager and hostess were nice. The meal was good but it was overshadowed by poor service and stinky air. We’ll stick to Chart House for more upscale dining within the Landry’s chain.
This was my best dinning experience thus far. The food is great and the service is fantastic. You feel like you are the only one in therestaurant. The manager of the store Doug is terrific and I see why they have him there. I went here for my birthday and it was an experience I will never forget.
This was a great place for a birthday celebratory date. The service and staff were most pleasant and knowledgeable. Charles and Mike took great care in making this evening a night to remember. Highly recommend the Oceanaire Seafood Room, and will select this venue again and again! Thank You to all! For a Great Experience.
As soon as we stepped into the restaurant we were greeted by lovely ladies who showed us to our booth. The menu was fantastic if you're a seafood lover and they even catered for my partner who isn't so much. The service was great and the food was exceptional, i would absolutely recommend the pan seared cod, the fish was cooked perfectly and the dish was so tasty. The restaurant itself had beautiful decor and the ambience was relaxing (shame about the noisy guests right next to us). The menu is pricy but we really enjoyed our meal.
The food was extremely bland with no flavor. Was diasappointed by my expectations vs. their reality. Only positive was the manager caring and trying to make it right but there really was no other solution the food was just not something I'd spent any amount of money on let alone their prices!
Ambiance is great we had the special $ 35.00 diner for September, the waiter Erik was fantastic and very helpfull, we ordered the Trigger fish bronze blackened and 2 where perfect but the Third one was heavenly blackened and very salt. Desert was fine and lemon pie was great.
We ordered 2 double espresso coffee who was very weak and a little cold but okay can happen. Only we have to pay $ 26.00 for 2 coffee!! So it ended a little disappointing for us .
Tried this restaurant during Orlando Magical Dining.
Got there around 7pm and the restaurant was "out of" iced tea, really! Even after I received my glass of iced tea, several times the server "forgot" to bring a refill. Since my glass was empty more than it was full, I was insulted that the server actually charged me for the iced tea ($3.75!).
Both my guest and I ordered filet mignon and it was very chewy (one of the worst filets I have ever eaten), although the charcoal taste was good. The shrimp appetizer was good and the full-sized dessert was great.
We had a party of 16 and four people sent there food back up to four times for it being undercooked to the specs requested. The steak was very salty, cheesecake was purely creamcheese.
Drinks were good and their bread was delish. Guess you can at least order those
So this place was a mixed bag for me. I thought the food was excellent and the service was definitely adequate. There was just something about this place I found to be very stuffy. It was a place I would go for a business dinner but not a night out of my choosing. I don't have anything negative to say really, I just won't be back.
We went to Ocenaire to celebrate our mother's 70th birthday. Our waiter, Alfredo, along with the other members of the service team, were wonderful. They were very patient and helpful with our team and helpful while we took pictures. Our meals were very enjoyable. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
Traveling on I-4 is so ridiculously bad and then the parking garage is unspeakable.... When we entered the front doors of the restaurant, there was a family that had preceded us in the door. There was no one at the host stand, for a few minutes, which is rather unusual as far as I recall. Mind you this was 5:30 ish on Saturday. The other family was seated and then we were taken to our table. It was a few minutes wait for someone to come and take order and the place was pretty much empty at that time... We ordered shrimp and grits appetizer to share, which was very tasty. My husband had the scallops which he enjoyed. I had the salmon, simply prepared and enjoyed that as well. We shared the truffle whipped potatoes which were good and the steamed broccoli could have been a little more tender and I found a nasty spot, for lace of better description on the end of one of the stalks. If I was doing the prep, I would not have served that part of it... We shared a piece of Key Lime Pie for dessert, which was good, but have had better elsewhere. It was not quite tangy enough for my liking.
Great from start to finish. We went there for our Anniversary and the menu had the celebration on the top of the menu. We went there in a Friday around 515pm and at that time it was slow. Tim, our waiter, very knowledgeable in the menu and took his suggestions from appetizers to entrees. We had a sneaky suspicion it was going to be a great experience when the bread brought to the table was Amazing and it continued to the end. App - Buttermilk Calamari, Entree - New Eng Did and Black/Blue Mahi Mahi, Sides - Green Beans w/bacon gastriqu and Hash Brows Oceanside style then to our surprise we had a Baked Alask w/strawberry cheesecake ice cream delivered to our table to complete our celebration.
The entire staff that we encountered during our dining experience was TOP NOTCH, AMAZING and 5 STARS. Will definitely be returning hopefully sooner than later.
Make sure to play 20 questions on the menu, the dish you order likely is much different than the descriptions. In fact the menu in some cases is void of ingredients. I ordered pan seared chicken and out came a 1/4 chicken loaded with mushrooms onions and garlic. The plate and veggies submerged in mushroom broth. I hate mushrooms. Caprese salad had a weird green goo and brown balsamic vinaigrette. Be careful ordering
Nice place. Have dined here many times. Execellent seafood. Steaks overpriced and comes with no sides. Service subpar relative to other sister franchise restaurants such as Vic's Chophouse and Moon Fish. Restrooms and restaurant very clean. Presentation of seafood is excellent. Cocktails are hit and miss. Location is great. Parking in nearby garage. Valet parking for Pointe Orlando is consistently appalling and total waste of time. This restaurant is very cooperative with Open Table guests and promptly redeemed my Open Table gift card. The menu has great selection of seafood and steaks but not everything on the menu is available. No restaurant is perfect and this is one of the best seafood restaurants in Orlando.
