Waitress and service good. A little pricey but worth it
great food. waitress gabby was very polite and helpful.
Great food and service, always.
Excellent environment. Really enjoyed the company of other guest outside of my own and the food was perfect 👍
The food was excellent. However the service was not. Wanted 20 minutes for a scotch (neat) and received it on the rocks. Waited another 20 minutes for the scotch. All they had to do was pour the scotch in a glass!
Always a great experience
The atmosphere is always elegant & relaxing w/great tasting food. The only downsides were the increased prices probably from the pandemic & lack of different types of shellfish tools.
We made the reservation thru "Open Table" for 8PM as it was available.
When we were on our way at 738pm then 739pm we got a call from the Restaurant and we talked to the "host" as we thought it was, to let us know that they were closing at 8pm and we needed to be there by that time. We got to the restaurant at 750pm and had to wait a few minutes for our table to be ready.
It was Christmas day and it seemed by the way the person in the front was acting that she was upset to be there and wanted to leave.
The waiter "Angel" came to our table took our drink order and then the apps and food. The salad came first than the water or any drink about 10 minutes later the dinner. The waiter was not in our table at all and we had to send back the meals because we didn't even had the bread yet in the table. When we asked to talked to the manager, it was the same person that was in the entrance of the restaurant "Desiree".
She said that she called us an hour before and no one answered the phone to let us know that they were closing at 8pm. The only two calls I had was 738pm and 739pm, which I answered. Also that the food was kept warm in the kitchen since the staff was already gone, this all happening while she saw that we didn't even had the apps or bread or drinks (also we got the incorrect app). The only thing she said was that she was sorry for the situation, but that she tried to call.
After the incompetent manager left the table, the waiter came to our table few times and apologized because he "didn't know" we were being rushed out. Then he said that he wanted to give us a free dessert due to the inconvenience.
I understand it was Christmas day and people in general want to be with their family. However, when you chose a job in the F&B, entertainment or hospitality industry, you accept to works Holidays and weekends. It is not the customer fault at all. We were not disrespectful to anyone. This is a fine dinning and the least we were expecting was a great experience.
Having eaten at Oceanaire twice before, I booked it for Christmas dinner. It was a wonderful meal. The food was fresh and cooked expertly. The wine list is extensive. Even though it was crowded, the service was even, attentive and not rushed. The ambiance was nice.
It was pricey but expected and worth it for the menu. We will be back when we want an elegant seafood dinner.
The food and service are always great. The menu is somewhat limited, but I always find it enjoyable!
Everything was wonderful!
This is one of our regular special restaurants because the food is fresh and consistently well prepared. Menu is updated daily to account for fish available in the market and it shows. Cocktails, entrees, appetizers, side dishes and desserts are reasonably priced. The wine list is truly encyclopedic and frankly intimidating, but wait staff seems able to guide you through or make suggestions. Staff is attentive without hovering. Noise levels are moderate and the tables spaced comfortably.
We recently had dinner here with friends, one of whom is gluten sensitive. And while they don't claim to be a gluten-free restaurant, they do know which items to select or stay away from -- considerably reducing our friends' stress level.
Whether casually with friends and family, or for a business event - all of the Landry's restaurants have always been some of my favorite venues to dine. The staff (from telephone customer service to the hosts and wait staff) have always been personable, helpful, and go above and beyond to elevate the entire dining experience. Morton's and Oceanaire are two of my favorite places, especially Oceanaire for their amazing Seafood Chopped Salad and fresh selection of seafood appetizers. Without a question or doubt, 5 stars and a huge recommendation. If you haven't already, go eat here!
The hostess sat our party of 6 in a private dining room which was an unexpected and welcome surprise. The wait staff was attentive, but not overbearing. Cocktails were delicious and not too overpriced. The salads were large and splitting them was a great idea. Entrees were very good.
Awesome experience. Food was delicious and came out quick. Our server Trevor was delightful.
Food and service were outstanding. From the cocktails to the raw oysters to the steaks, everything was top notch. It was pricey but you get what you pay for. Ambiance was perfect for a date. I’ve been to several locations and the experience has always been excellent.
My birthday and the chef sent me baked Alaska
Overpriced & service was not good
Amazing!! I went for their Thanksgiving dinner pre-fix and it was impeccable.
Was very nice but overpriced for what we got. It was good but not great.
We asked for bread and were SHOCKED that they charged us for it. Most restaurants bring bread to the table when you sit down and if you are going to charge, you should at least let the customer know. Certainly wasn’t expensive - just be upfront.
Bottom line - too basic for expense
Our waiter Julio was great!
Very nice place, food was delicious, service okay. There was just something missing for a restaurant of this caliber. COVID has certainly reduced service staff, so maybe I’m expecting too much for staff to be present.
Has charging for bread become a thing post COVID…
Food Always Delicious. Nice Fibe
Miguel was great, food was amazing.
I was treating my Employees as a thank you for their 40 years Service to me and was totally embarrassed by the Staff, constantly getting the orders served to the wrong people, our waiter, who was stiff as a board and could care less, the small servings and the LONG WAIT for the food! The worst was serving 3 of us while 2 others had to wait for their food to arrive, for both the appetizers and then the main meal ! For over $150 per person, I deserved MORE than this. This all left a "bad taste" in my mouth and will not be returning any time soon. Such a disappointment. Worst.... I had to apologize to my guests.
Food quality was just OK; My Halibut piece was the tail end of a filet. Not what I expect for the price. I ate at Morton's and Capital Grille the previous nights, this place was sub-par for the price and expectation.
Amazing food, amazing service great ambiance. We will definitely go back.
Great atmosphere, food is always good and consistent. Staff is very professional. Excellent wine list.
Service was fantastic. Waiter (Trevor) was knowledgable, professional, and personable. Room was fairly empty but management felt the need to seat us next to another couple. Food was good, I would go back.
Great food as always although a little cheesy to offer us bread and then to taste it would be extra $3.50 charge. Nice bar scene and restaurant is always beautifully decorated with the right volume of tasteful music. Our grilled seafood platter and cod miso was fantastic. Plus the pink oysters for breast cancer awareness month were very tasty.
Our service was terrible. I think there was one waiter for the entire restaurant. We all sat down at 1:45pm and didn’t leave until 4pm because that’s how long it took to finish our meal since things came out so slowly. We asked for a Diet Coke, and it came 20 minutes later. It took 45 minutes just to get our plates cleared once we were done. I wish I was exaggerating. Once we did get our food, it was excellent. But it was my mothers 71st birthday and we had my 1 year old at the table. There is no reason the meal should have taken 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Calamari was horrible. Too over breaded & dry vey small portion calamari cause 3 breaded lemons (nasty) , and breaded peppers.
Signature cod with pumpkin another loser. Only saving grace the grilled halibut. At least cocktails were decent
The food was made from high quality seafood but the preparation didn’t add much flavor. It was very expensive. It was NYC prices but without the quality. Will not be going back.
Gracious lovely welcoming service! Good seafood - relaxing setting - wonderful ambiance.
Many great menu choices, excellent service, fantastic wine list- will definitely go back
Attentive but not intrusive service. Excellent cocktails. Good food and great crem brûlée
Fresh seafood but dishes were bland and overpriced
Everything was great my Mom loved her Birthday surprise. The only thing I would change is that I would enforce the dress code. Our party was dressed appropriately but felt slighted an confused when others were mot.
