Only about 1/4 full on a Saturday night but took 30 min to get our bottle of wine. Child “grilled” fish came out like sushi had to send back. Mixed up course order on 3-course prix fix menu. Bad experience!
Delicious food and knowledgable, welcoming service. The branzino is amazing!
The ambiance, service and food are top notch at every Oceanaire I have been to and the Denver location is no exception. Very dependable fine dinning.
Good to excellent food, outstanding service. $10 valet parking. Fun bar and fresh bar.
Perfectively prepared fish. Absolutely top quality. Lovely meal.
The oysters were excellent! We often come here before the show and they provide a very consistent meal and got us to the show on time.
The food was amazing, my husband and I had a really nice date night here
We went to Oceanaire during 5280 week and had 3 meals from the 5280 menu and one from the basic menu, a first time for all of us. The wait staff was attentive, ensuring we were able to have our meal and get out in time for our theater night. The food was delicious, and all the plates were presented nicely as well. We did enjoy our meal, albeit this is a very expensive place to dine.
A wonderful dinner and great service!
Had a wonderful evening with my family and we had quite a variety of food. From the appetizers to the main course they never disappoint, great job!.
Best Cod and oysters I’ve had outside of London. Great service amd dood! I’d go back.
We wanted to try it out during Denver restaurant week.
We went for restaurant week and it was awesome! My husband’s steak was better than my cod which is only upsetting because it is a seafood restaurant.
Been here several times. Meal is always good. We got a corked bottle of wine which they replaced without question. It was restaurant week so service was a tad slow, but otherwise a very nice meal.
As always, the wait staff is great. Really enjoy how they’re attentive without being obtrusive. Food is great, although there’s so much of it we frequently struggle to finish our meals. A great way to spend the evening, particularly before a DCPA show.
Bad service, salmon look like it had been under a heat lamp for a day or two and looked more like jerky than fish. Crab was crunchy. Mentioned it to the server, he didn’t seem to care. Drinks and water were never refilled.
Great food great service!!
The oysters were terrific, the Dover Sole a little overdone and the crab cakes a little too creamy....the service was terrific.
Great spot for happy hour and dinner. Loved my server he was great. Awesome food and environment can’t wait to go back!
My girl and I had a very nice time. The James Bond Martini is a winner and our crab legs were superb.
Our server Samantha was great! Very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. We had an amazing night out thanks to her.
We love to make Oceanaire our go-to place for dinner anytime we're attending an event at the DCPA. The service and food are top-notch, and consistently excellent every time we visit. It's not a cheap date, but with that price comes security that the service will be wonderful, they will always be mindful of what time we need to leave to make our show on time, and there's always something new to try on the menu. We have never been disappointed here. And I say that with knowing that we haven't always experienced perfection - but when something goes wrong, they make it right immediately.
Attentive not intrusive service and amazing food preparations
It was a great experience! The restaurant was very nice inside and the music was fantastic. The food was very good as well but for the price, we weren’t too sure it was worth it. The waitress and staff were very quick and kind as well as knowledgeable of the menu. Still, it was a great experience and a fun place to go for Valentines Day.
Beautiful place with amazing service. Will go again
It was good. They were busy and it took forever to get our bottle of wine
Awful over priced
Lobster was tough, angry Branzino was excellent, as was the bread and asparagus. Server was super sweet but took a long time to take order and to check on us. Wish they had more potato options minus truffles.
Everything at Oceanaire was excellent, with the exception that they brought the wrong entree out for my wife (same fish, different preparation). She ate it, is was wonderful, but the server realized the mistake while clearing, and comped us dessert.
It was a phenomenal dinner experience and great food and service!
Wonderful meal, Samantha was great, very nice experience.
The service was slow. The food was just ok. For the price, I expected a lot more out of the food. I would not return.
Great oysters, great service, always lots of great options on the menu.
It was Valentines Day and every table was filled; none-the-less, we had a delicious dinner with exceptional service. Kudos to all the staff!
Very wonderful V day date
Attentive service, varied menu, nice atmosphere--recently redecorated, ease of valet parking
Simple seafood at it's best. And the ambience is elegant.
First time visit to Oceanaire prior to a show at the Performing Arts Center. We could. It have been more thrilled with the experience. Service was impeccable...prompt without being intrusive. Our server asked for our show time and paced the entire dinner accordingly. Easy valet parking for dinner and the show; our car was waiting curbside when we walked out of the show....no waiting. We drove away as throngs of people were waiting for rides and trying to exit the parking garage.
Cocktails were amazing. Tasteful without being overpowering.
The food was fantastic. Not the typical seafood. Chef Jodie prepared a will fish with mushroom risotto and a braised oxtail sauce that was unique and surprisingly delicious. Perfectly prepared fish.
A perfect dinner from start to finish.
Dessert was so tempting but we worried we didn’t have time our server and the kitchen delivered to most delicious cobbler and ice cream— to die for—in mere minutes.
Without rushing we experienced a fantastic dinner and walked into the show right on time.
The price was surprisingly reasonable, I was actually amazed.
We highly recommend this establishment for dinner. We will return for the next show!!!
Fun night before the theater. We enjoy Oceanaire but always seem to be there in winter in conjunction with a performance at the Denver Performing Arts complex. Dining room was chilly and it was bitter outside. Excellent service, good recommendations on oysters. Gluten-free bread was an unexpected choice and delicious. I had the Wolf Fish on risotto. It was flavorful, but had too much of the pan juices that made the risotto runny and "wet". Too bad. Overall a B+
