Pino, Marcus, everyone here are the best of the best and deserve raises!
Best crab cakes anywhere. Sides are huge and full of flavor. Great wine.
But you’ll come back for all the great people who make this place special!
The scallops are amazing!
Excellent, well-prepared food in a very pleasant setting. Took my spouse prior to attending the theatre. Entrees a bit on the high side, but at least what we had (appetizers, salad, entree, dessert) was outstanding. Relish tray and fresh bread were very nice touches. Good, solid service without being either too stand-offish or hovering.
We expected more for the price. The service was nice but the food was pricy and the quality was equivalent to a restaurant like Bonefish.
the food was amazing and the service was top line. our waiter Michael was very attentive.
We had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves food and likes to have a good time.
Everything about our experience was great. The food the service all was excellent. Our waiter Michael was the best.
Abominable food every step of the way. Outrageous prices for mediocre food. A complete tourist trap. Terribly disappointed. Only bright spot was our server but great service cannot overcome terrible food.
Save your money or spend it somewhere else just do NOT go to Oceanaire.
Nice! No real complaints. The food was good. Dessert was amazing.
Good atmosphere and service. Recommend lobster Thermidor, it was delicious, but the lobster cakes appetizer had too much filler, not enough lobster.
So we were a little disappointed by the weak wait service and food quality. It wasn't like the worst service we've ever had or the worst food, but for a $335 meal for two people, it left a lot to be desired. Maybe we were spoiled from having eaten at Marcel's the previous Friday, but either way, we didn't feel great about the experience. If you like shrimp but don't like Old Bay seasoning, pass on the Oceanaire shrimp cocktail. The chicken fried lobster was exactly what you'd expect from the name -- which is good and bad. It was about what I'd expect chicken fried lobster to taste like if I ordered it a KFC -- nothing particularly interesting or inspired about it. The service shortcomings were surprising. My wife ordered a salad that was never delivered. They were apologetic. I had to ask after the aforementioned shrimp cocktail, which was delivered long after my wife's appetizer and when I saw the unadvertised Old Bay, I widhed I hadn't. On the other hand, the waiter tried to make up for several errors by giving us a free baked Alaska, which was colossal and tasty. And, the meal turned out to be the gift that kept on giving because the leftovers from my wife's Lobster Thermidor actually made about 5 meals (total) for 4 different people over the two days following our visit. So bottom line: we won't be going back to Oceanaire for Friday date night anytime soon, but it's not like the meal was a total disaster. And if you like Lobster Thermidor (and it was very good, particularly if you like cheese) and have $115 to spare, you will get a meal that will feed the family and then some.
They made us feel like family. Great job by V and Tom. Kudos to Donna and her staff.
Nice restaurant. A little pricey. Service was excellent, very accommodating.
The food was great, the restaurant is a little noisy. We would definitely come back.
Wonderful place great food fast service
