Great meal. Great service as well. The food was wonderful. It was pack but me and my girlfriend enjoyed the night.
Amazing experience overall. Food was perfectly cooked and the service impeccable.
My husband and I enjoyed our 5 year wedding anniversary here last night. Amazing service, food, and ambiance
Great Time and food was delicious from appetizers to main course and deserts!
It was my birthday. Great experience!
We’ve been going here for years and they always deliver.
Food and service are always exceptional. Try the creamed corn as a side dish.
Great food and service!
The food and service was great! If you love fresh seafood this restaurant is a definite must!
Wait staff was awesome very tentative. Way overpriced. Nothing spectacular presentation kind a weak , escargot was very oily, definitely not splurge worthy
Everything was pretty good aside from our server. It was just subpar for what you would expect in this type of atmosphere. The server assistant however, was a delight and probably should be promoted to server. He was so good we slipped him a some money to say thank you.
I have been dining at Oceanaire since it opened and that was by far the worst dining experience I ever had.
Service was terribly slow, as if really short staffed or something.
Saw other tables not being waited on either.
Food was horrible. My fish was “fishy tasting” big time...hard to even eat.
Taking a break from your restaurant for a while
I don't write reviews..................................
Service was consistent and attentive. Food was fresh and well prepared
Always the finest oysters
Your bar staff were friendly and entertaining. The table service was outstanding. The total experience on a scale of 1 to 10 was a 12.
Great seafood spot. Enjoyed every bite!
Food and service were outstanding at one of the last few elegant seafood restaurants here in Dallas. Fish was fresh and well prepared and steak was great too. Crab cakes stand out as appetizers and lobster mac and cheese and brussel sprouts are star sides. Baked Alaska was impressive to look at but not the best I've had. Drinks were good. Very nice dining experience that you will pay for but definitely worth the visit when you are treating yourself to a nice evening out for seafood.
This is the last time. I gave this plAce a second chance. First of all he offered us a lobster appetizer and then charged us for the entire entree. Entirely not worth it. Second we didn’t want dessert but we lingered over drinks and the waiter brought a piece of key lime pie to share amongst 4 diners. We thought it was complimentary. It wasn’t. My colleague noticed this morning we were charged for it in the bill! We didn’t even order it. The food is mediocre at best and is very over priced. We won’t be bAck.
As always, Oceanaire delivered an outstanding experience. Michael was a fantastic server and took great care of us. with social distancing, the place was so serene and perfect for a romantic dinner that we had been missing for months! the fillet mignon was flawless and tender. Try the build your own surf and turf where you can choose your steak cut and add whichever seafood you wish. You have to get the lobster mad and cheese, which is to die for, and don't forget the baked Alaska served flambe table side!
I really did not like the wait staff wearing gloves and touching everything and touching their mask. There must be a better way such as washing hands and using hand sanitizer.
The halibut was wonderful and we loved that we got the best seat in the house on the mezzanine. Tianna was so nice and hospitable.
The good just wasn’t that great. I had a grossly steak
We were greeted and given our choice of tables. We both enjoyed the warm sourdough bread and relish tray while waiting for our entrees. My husband enjoyed the simply prepared fresh halibut. My Greek salad with shrimp and crabmeat had a beautiful presentation but actually had only small slivers of crab. There were good greens, many capers and olives as well as the two large shrimp that were sliced in half atop the salad. We were celebrating our joint birthdays and had a choice of cheesecake or the fabulous key lime pie which we really enjoyed! Our waitress was helpful and attentive.
A wonderful experience. They cater to you and your event in a special way. It was out first visit and I will definitely be returning soon. Our waiter was exceptional in knowledge and in service. He made our experience that much better.
Thank you for the great food and service
This was a return visit. We were pleased but expected to be. This place is great for any occasion. Their Baked Alaska is a must.
Everything about our meal was great. We had the Restaurant Week menu, and a few added items, and it was all to perfection. great wine selections, as well.
Food was excellent. And our waiter was so informative and friendly!
For a first experience, my server Michael was kind and knowledgeable. The 3 course meal was special and tasteful. I will return again.
Food was excellent. I recommend the Texas Redfish Almondine. Crab cake appetizer was delicious. Great place to celebrate a special occasion. Our server, Fozy, was great and will ask for him next time. The GM, Lisa, visited our table and was super attentive to our needs. Will definitely return.
Everything was perfect. Social Distancing measures made us feel very safe. Everything was as good or better than normal. Food, service, atmosphere. Thanks!
Service was very good.
Food was mediocre at best. Tasteless sauce. Clam chowder poor- tough rubbery clams. Desert was the highlight but still nothing special. Calamari was funny- half cooked well half rubbery.
Oceanaire is our new family go to place for special occasions. The service and the food are always outstanding. Phillip was an awesome server! Can't wait for our next visit.
Great food. Great staff. Enjoy it every time we go.
Food and service were impeccable! Wonderful place for special occasions!
Food was ok for a mid priced restaurant. For the cost we had much higher expectations. Their pricing is on par with high end steak and seafood places but the quality was more on par with a Red Lobster or Texas Land and Cattle. Service was acceptable for a lower cost restaurant but I expect crumbs to be brushed between plates and servers to appear clean and well groomed. Not the case when we visited.
Was terrible actually. Had reservation for 1 pm. Waited at the hostess stand for about ten minutes before anyone attended us. Finally sat down at 1:15. Had to flag down the server for waters, to order an appetizer, and to ask about their fish selection. we ordered the escargot to start and they finally came back to take our order when we finished the appetizer. I just ordered the check. Extremely dissappointed as I was excited to have a unique fish fillet for my birthday. Ended up at capital grille instead!
My husband and I really enjoy eating at the location in DC. We weren’t excited about this visit. While the service was great and the social distancing practices were consistent, the food was underwhelming. They sold out of the oysters the previous night and halibut during the lunch service. The calamari was more breading than squid, as was the chicken fried lobster. The clam chowder was tasty, but it’s consistency felt like it had been on the stove/heater for quite a while. I’ll probably wait for travel to open back up and enjoy the DC location...
The food was delicious. Unfortunately our server seemed to be in a rush (even doe the restaurant wasn’t full)
