Another visit before Corona isolation... food was good, although I think the blue cheese used in the "Black and Bleu" fish was too strong - it overwhelmed the dish. I've had that numerous times before when it was nicely balanced. Nice wine selection and side dishes, very attentive service.
Excellent service, very good food, and the personal recognition is a very nice touch.
The food was good but not great. I had a grill combo that had lobster, scallops, shrimp, and asparagus. We also had calamari, Caesar salad & wedge salad, cream corn, truffle whipped potatoes, creme brulee, and a cappuccino. My wife had king crab. What wasn't so good - calamari What was good - lobster, scallops, shrimp, asparagus, and salads. What was great - cream corn, truffle whipped potatoes, creme brulee, and cappuccino.
On top of the food - which was good, but not great for the most part... And at this price point it should be great. The biggest let down was pretty slow service. We had to ask several times for several things, and it took time for anything to happen. Our server was friendly so no real complaints about his personality, but it just seemed like the attentiveness was missing or maybe he had too many tables.
Meal was awesome. Chicken fried lobster was great. Highly recommend to everyone!!
The Oceanaire made a wonderful experience for my father’s 93td birthday dinner! He loved it and the Baked Alaska topped it off for an enjoyable and delicious dinner!!!
Great ambiance and quiet, which is much appreciated!!
Birthday. Service is always excellent.
One of my favorite seafood Restaurants in the Dallas and Minneapolis areas.
The food was great. The service could have been better. The waiter seem very impatient and unfriendly.
This is one of my FAVORITE restaurant to eat and bring my wife and my staff. Last night we had a really BAD SERVICE. Please keep the same service as used to be
Thomas was an awesome waiter. Food was delicious!
It was my first time dinning at Oceanaire Seafood and we loved it. From the time I made our reservation everyone was very professional and the food was great and very reasonably priced. I had a party of 8 and this was the general consciences of everyone who attended.
Outstanding service from Fozie!
We enjoyed oysters, mussels, shrimp ‘n grits Florentine
Grouper and crab cake. All were very fresh and most delicious!!
Awesome food! Our server, Nathan, did an outstanding job.
Food was very good. See ratings for other aspects of visit.
The food doesn’t seem to be as good as it use to be. Service was arrogant and not accommodating.
As always, Oceanaire was an occasion: the food, service and atmosphere were all lovely.
Took the kids and wife out for fresh oysters, quality fish and good conversation.
Our food was cold. We sent it back and it was still cold the second time. Including deep fried lemon (rind included) with $18 fried calamari appetizer is strange and just a way to filll the platter with cheap ingredients. Incredibly overpriced. Would NOT recommend!!!
Very noisy. Our order was either lost or got behind a large group that came in after us, leading to very long wait for main course. Waiter did t seem aware of it till we asked about our order.
This was the most amazing dinning experience of my life. Service was excellent and food was delicious....10 stars.......
Ate at the bar so service was a little slower than a table in the dining room. Still a good experience
Great as always. The chopped seafood salad is wonderful.
Menu variety is awesome. I like that certain items on the menu may change daily. Very friendly staff.
The service was good. The food was not up-to par for the money spent. My wife and I ordered the lobster, it was the worst we'd ever had.
Me and my husband really enjoyed the food. Our waiter Muhammad was EXCELLENT!
We were very disappointed in the wine list as they had an extremely poor selection of whites by the bottle for a seafood restaurant. The food while normally superb was mediocre at best
We came for the chicken fried Lobster! You have to try it. We also got the shrimp cocktail and the Dover sole in the brown butter sauce. Of course we shared and were absolutely stuffed but so worth it.
I also highly recommend the happy hour. Great drinks and appetizers. If we lived closer we would be here on a weekly basis. The staff is exceptional as well. We love this place.
Given we are originally from Florida, the idea of getting high quality seafood in Dallas seemed daunting. The everpresent Texas bloat of bbq, steak, brisket, pork and all-things-deep-fried has done nothing good for our waistlines nor our overall health. Therefore, seafood, (and good seafood, is the meal of choice).
Dining at the Oceanaire uninhibited is a very expensive proposition, however it is probably the best seafood we have ever eaten. This is even comparing to the plethora of fresh catch that was readily available to us in Tampa back in the day. Save up your money and splurge every now and then.. It'll be worth it.
Ok my server was Phillipand he did amazing job. I was very please with every thing
Excellent food, great service, right portions and wonderful atmopshere
Disappointed that they would not let me change reservation time, but when we arrived restaurant was three quarters empty.
I have visited the establishment for many years. Always good food and great service.
Tried new things in the Menu this time around and we are never disappointed at this restaurant. Our favorite server Ana Lopez attended to every detail to make sure our lunch was a great experience.
Great for business
I was disappointed that I had to pay $10.00 to park. That will keep me from coming back. After paying in excess of $150.00 (which I think was well worth it) for the meal and tip, I think the valet should have been complimentary.
The food was excellent as always!
Colton was fabulous server and food was, of course, delicious. Loved the birthday treat of Baked Alaska! And best cappuccino around.
