If you want a high end restaurant that delivers outstanding food, great service with awesome decor this is the place for you.
I came here for my birthday dinner. Soon as I walked in the gentleman at the counter greeted me by saying happy birthday, and showed me to my table right away. I was then greeted by my waitress who was very pleasant, and informative about the menu. I was given a commemorative menu that had happy birthday on it which was a nice souvenir. I had the 6 oz filet mignon, lobster tail, crab cake, and truffle butter mashed potatoes. Everything was good. The waitress brought out the Baked Alaska dessert complimentary of the restaurant since it was my birthday, and the presentation was awesome. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a special occasion dinner, you won’t be disappointed.
I spent my birthday here. Service and food was phenomenal. Making online reservations was very easy as well.
We celebrated my son’s 19th birthday on Saturday. The staff was amazing, from the moment we walked in until we left. The food was awesome and prepared to our liking. We will return again soon.
We were celebrating our 7th marriage anniversary
The food was great plus awesome customer service I will be back soon
Man that food life. The shrimp and grits was perfect and the bread super soft with nice crunch. The smoked Mac n cheese to die for the staff was friendly and polite
I took my wife to Oceanaire for her birthday and she had an amazing time. Our server Shelby was so attentive to our needs and did not miss a beat. The food was beyond amazing.
The service was great but, the food prices were high for the portions.
Many other restaurants in the area with comparable food quality but lower prices.
I experienced Oceanaire for the first time Saturday evening and it certainly won't be the last time! Service was amazing, food was delicious, and from the moment we walked in, the entire staff made it clear that our experience was their priority. We had a great time and will return soon in the future!
Our service was exceptional! Our server answered all our questions and offered suggestions. The manager greeted us and thanked us for dining there and treated us to a complimentary desert because we were first timers. The atmosphere is especially elegant and relaxing!
Great dining experience.
Cocktails were tasty. Food was good, but expensive. A bit overpriced for what they're doing now.
A few issues - pears on pear salad were bruised, salads came out after main course but not enough time to eat the main so our table was very full, and the wine service was slow. Place used to be better.
There was an engagement party which caused our service to be lackluster; however, the manager stepped right in and comped us; and really went out of his way to ensure the rest of our visit was excellent. I will go back again!!! The food was outstanding!!!!!
Hostess was kind and accommodating- wonderful
Excellent food and hospitality
Would definitely return soon
Assuming because it was Valentines Day weekend, they were busier than normal. In all my experiences of visiting this restaurant the service all around has always been exceptional. The manager was made aware & made it all right. I will continue to visit this location because this was just once out more than 30 visits.
Atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff there were really friendly and welcoming, constantly checked on our table and refilled our water glasses without us asking. Food was very good, tried a few things I’ve never had before. Overall wonderful experience.
This was an excellent dining experience. We had the pleasure and delight of being served by Shelby. Who was attentive and knowledgeable about all things Oceanaire! So much so that she invited Charley over to consult with us on beverage options. Hubby is a top shelf conosseur. The food was delicious and beautifully plated💯
Went the days after VDAY and it was amazing. The server we had was Ashley and she did great. Me and my boyfriend had the filet and I added a lobster tail it was GREAT!
My food simply awful. I got the veal and it was rare. I eat it medium. My wife’s fish was good but not worth $60 bucks. Our server did nothing for us. Not even reduce the bill. The restaurant is way over priced for the quality and portion size! I would never go back! If you’re smart enough you’ll avoid this place! Not worth it.
Would’ve given 5 stars but drinks from the bar to a long time and I was told they weren’t changing the menu for Valentine’s Day but they did and the item I wanted wasn’t on there. The steak and crab cakes were good.
We have enjoyed our previous dinners at this restaurant however our last experience was less than superb. It was a busy night however our server forgot several things throughout the meal. He apologized and tried to make it better. The steak we ordered was cooked the way we requested however it lacked seasoning as did the sautéed spinach. We have come to expect excellence from the restaurant but we were disappointed on this occasion.
My husband wanted to take me to his favorite restaurant.
We arrived shortly after opening and were seated immediately. Alejandro was our server and he was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable of the menu items and very attentive. Our meal was absolutely delicious.
It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t exceptional either. It could’ve been because it was Valentines Day. We had the fish and grits which was excellent. We also had the rock fish and sea bass. The presentation of the rock fish was bad and it taste ok. The sea bass was excellent but very over priced for what was plated. If I went back again it would only be for the shrimp and grits and maybe calamari since the waiter spoke highly of it. Again it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t one blowing either so I couldn’t firmly say I would go back to or recommend this restaurant.
The service was horrible my anniversary dinner was ruined. I had to listen to servers complain about how customer was being annoying because the restaurant was running out of food. There was older white male server was telling the hostess not to put anymore customer’s in his section. The food was really good I just wouldn’t come back because of the service
Our waiter was very brusque. He took our appetizer order and then came back to get our entree order; however, after waiting for sometime our entree came but no appetizers. I informed the staff member who brought the food that we never got our appetizers. He asked if we wanted them before the entrees that he had in hand. We stayed that we wanted our appetizers. The staff member took our entrees back to the kitchen and was told that our appetizers would be out shortly as well as new entrees made. After a 20-25 minute wait we received our appetizers. Later, we received our entrees which I question if they were freshly made or if the original entrees were just kept warm. I have visited Oceanaire a few years back and I am not quite sure if I will make a return visit.
It was Valentine’s Day. The food was good. The service was slow and the bar was very slow. We cancelled wine with our dinner because it hadn’t come after 20 min.
Allow 45 minutes from Camden Yard to finding parking for our 7:30 pm seating. Outstanding service from beginning to end given the high volume of Valentine's. Meals arrived within our expected time, perfect temperature for both seafood and steak. As frequent dinners, we will avoid major romantic events in the future. Congratulations to the staff at all levels for handling the crush ! L & K
Valentine’s Day was amazing here
Valentines Day get together. A group of 10. We had an amazing time dinner was awesome. The service was top notch Bristen was a next level server. I would definitely recommend going here.
Food was not the greatest tonight. Calamari was very salty. Asparagus was extremely mushy. Crab cakes did not have the Maryland flare. We had a 7pm appointment. Because of the traffic in Baltimore near the restaurant on account of Valentine’s Day, we were 18 minutes late due to the valet parking. So..we lost our table, although more than 10 tables were available. The only option they gave us was a seat at the bar instead. When we finished, those same tables were still available. Oceanaire is not what it used to be.
V Day with 3 couples and was a fantastic evening! Been here several years strong over the years! Keep up the good work
Overpriced and not enough food but the food is delicious.
Place used to be a favorite for us: anniversary, birthday, etc. This last visit, all the booths are gone and the overall atmosphere is deteriorated. Service is still good, but costs are worse and portions smaller.
Will probably not be back. Sad, since Oceanaire was a special place for us.
Asked for flowers on the table, didn’t get them. Wasn’t even notified About it. Wobbly table, almost spilled drinks multiple time:z
The service was excellent and the food was outstanding.
A group of 8 came in on Valentine's. We were looking forward to a good night with great food. Everything started off well. Our server Howard was great. Now, the rest of my review is my own experience, and may not reflect my group. About an hour into the evening I excused myself to use the restroom. Along my travel I slipped and fell on ice/melted ice. I quickly got myself up from embarrassment and told another waiter, and he just wiped it up and didn't say anything. When I returned to the table my husband could tell something was wrong, I told the table what had happened and tried to make a joke of it.. but quickly turned to tears. Once Howard returned he asked the same, told him what happened. He then went and told the manager, who eventually came over to ask if everything was ok and quickly offer a cocktail & desert. I felt that I was just pushed off and no big deal. No ice offered for my legs and knees where I had fell, nothing. No incident report filed, no follow up for the next hour and half while we were still there, nothing. I wasn't going to leave a review, but a few days later and my bruises and swelling are still noticeable, I figured I should. This incident could of been handled more professionally.
