My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary. It was the perfect location for quiet fine dining, romantic ambiance, delicious food & drinks, and excellent service. We will definitely return.
It was a hit or miss for my dinner part. The lamb was very good. The branzino was rather bland.
My best friends bday was made perfect! Food was amazing he was surprised and Tory our waitress made the night perfect with her excellent service!
Excellent service, attention, and dinner there. I got the Mixed Grill with Lobster, Shrimp, Crab cake, & Asparagus. I had the Oysters Rock and glass of Cab. It was great.
Great food, great atmosphere and servers were awesome! If you don't plan to spend much this isn't the place for you. If you want good quality and quantity with all of the finer frills for dining this is the place to go. The decor is fabulous as well. Truly a wonderful experience!
Really enjoyed my husband’s 40th birthday dinner with 7 of our friends. Tory handled our large party very well and was amazing!!! We enjoyed every second and our food was so good. We have no complaints.
We had a great experience! Our server was friendly and answered any questions that we had! The food was great and I can’t wait to come back again!
Was so happy with the service. The waiters and the entire staff was amazing. The ambience is also wonderful and the dinner was nice and quiet.
Always an impeccable experience at The Oceanaire!!
Adam was a courteous and very attentive server. Great service!
A nice room but tables are very close! We could hear others entire conversation ! A Nice place, good location for very nice hotels but way overpriced! $24 for Oysters, $58 for Bronzino, $3.50 for bread ! $72. For a 1 lb lobster. $13.00 for Asparagus !
The server was very nice and he did pretty well. But seating most tables all together seems ridiculous during Covid with a large room full of empty tables!
So $257.00 for 2 people and with only 1 cocktail ! & no wine.
Made dinner reservations for my significant others Birthday to Oceanaire. I requested a window or booth and we were given a table in the middle of the floor, absolutely annoying. I eventually had to ask to be moved to a booth. We are still in a pandemic so it was very uneasy to sit so close to other parties. When we were seated, it took our waiter way too long to even greet us and get our drink orders. He was a bit older and moved a bit slower and seemed to lack personality that I would expect in a server in an establishment such as this. When we moved to a booth it was by the door and the booth seat was loose. Everytime we would lean forward to eat the seat would lean up. Very disturbing. Our food took FOREVER (not kidding, almost 40+Mins) to get to the table, and we ordered steak and crab cakes. I requested menus to say happy birthday and they were not given to us until our late waiter came over reading our reservation ticket and asking if the menus say happy birthday. HORRIBLE. A true mood killer. Here I was expecting these things to be a bit of a personal surprise and it was ruined. I wanted to get up and leave the restaurant. The food was great however. We had the rockafeller oysters, filet mignon and the crab cakes. The food is certainly pricey and I’m very disappointed that it was below my expectations. The food is the only thing I would go back for
The prices were way too high. The food is tasty, but for the price you would expect Michelin start.
I was disappointed. First, their prices are astronomical! They brought the entrees while we hadn’t finished our appetizers. The staff was “OK” - this isn’t where they lost me. Last, the food was just “OK”. I will be looking for other alternatives.
Everything was totally amazing the food host and atmosphere
I took my husband here to celebrate his birthday and they exceeded my expectations. The whole staff is amazing and shoutout to our Waitress Tory she’s great!
It was my birthday, and everything was wonderful including the Baked Alaska (see pic below)!
The food and service was awesome!
Keep up the good work!
Great seafood restaurant and lovely ambiance.
The waiter came to our table maybe 3 times and it took him about 30 minutes to bring drinks alone. We order extra dressing and ketchup and the waiter never brought it. We had to find the manager to obtain assistance in order to receive what we asked for.
It is such an elegant restaurant! My friends and I came here for my birthday celebration. The food and drinks were amazing the staff were extremely friendly and anticipating of all our needs. I will return!
Water was poured in wine glasses... I thought we were a prime seafood house? Wine menus were taken as the waiter assumed without asking and had to be brought back per my request. No bread was offered at beginning of dinner. Additionally, very limited offering of resiling and other wines. Lastly, the seared tuna was wildly over priced for the offering and glacier point oysters were fishy and incredibly small. All in all a very underwhelmed with the restaurant, considering I loved my prior trip to Oceanaire in downtown Houston.
Great dining experience. Server Cassie was excellent!
The Oceannaire is fantastic! The seafood is always fresh and delicious! The website indicates Valet service; however, there was no valet service available.
This is by far the best restaurant I’ve ever been to!! I love fine dining and they are top notch!! From the service, to the food, to the ambiance— there’s no restaurant around that’s more well-rounded!! This is my 3rd time dining with The Ocenaire and it did not disappoint!! My server was amazing and super attentive!! Just an overall great experience!! 10 Star Service!!!
Service provided by our wait staff, Antonio, was impeccable.
Dined alone. After I was seated, the waitstaff ignored me for a significant amount of time while others seated after me were given prompt attention. Made me think that they preferred multiple people at a table.
That being said, one waiter noticed me, and while I don’t think my table was her responsibility, Cory took charge & gave me excellent service from then on.
Clam chowder potatoes were raw swordfish was swimming in onions … just not up to Oceanaire
Server was good just not a great night!
Chicken fried lobster sounded good but was more like a Chinese dish
Experience was so on par I would come back to Baltimore just to dine here. Service and food was impeccable. Thank you for a memorable evening!
A little more light would have been helpful otherwise the evening was perfect.
We sat in our favorite booth with our excellent server, Tori. They have added a butternut squash soup to the menu and it was delicious! We ordered the simply prepared items of whole bronzino and halibut with sides of asparagus and creamed corn. Their hot loaf of bread is SOOO good. Being in the Landry's Select Club is a definite asset - we receive credits on our meal every time we go. The excellent back round music of the classics of Frank Sinatra, et al makes us want to get up and dance!
Looking forward to our next date.
I asked to be seated while waiting for my guest. I waited nearly 15 mins before I decided to stop a waitress so I could order a drink since I was not greeted. Food was ok ambiance was soothing. Unfortunately the service didn’t match this time
Food was meh, the bartender (our waiter) was phenomenal!
Great food, great service
Service slow despite not being busy. Second glass of wine came after the meal was over. Ambiance way way way too dark to read the menu, see the food, or even find your dining partners’ faces at the same table. Background music too loud and not relaxing. Food was delicious but expensive.
Fancy and nice place for special occasions. My husband enjoyed his birthday experience and the food quality was worth the price, the portions are a bit small though.
Everything was good…nothing was great. Overpriced for the quality and in comparison to similar high-end restaurants.
It was our Anniversary. Stephanie and the host staff were AMAZING!
