Everything was amazing especially the shrimp and grits

The restaurant is a gem. I was celebrating my birthday; it was the perfect location for my celebration. The host greeted and seated us right away, and the restaurant did a great job with social distancing.
I had the grilled filet mignon and shrimp with asparagus; everything was tasty. My BFF had the scallops, and she enjoyed her meal. Our waiter and manager were very attentive, even came over to wish me a happy birthday and gave me a souvenir to take with me.
I took a picture in front of the lovely holiday-decorated bar and enjoyed my dining experience there.
Service was excellent and the best crab cakes I ever had. Would recommend this restaurant highly.

As always, our waiter, Howard was wonderful. He made my sister's Retirement Celebration really special. We loved the food as we always do.
The atmosphere was a bit uncomfortable for us. With the Pandemic on going, we felt the tables were way too close.

I loved the experience with the exception of the party that killed the ambience for a minute but we had a good time. The drinks were excellent and the food was marvelous.
Great meal and service
Must of been a bad night. I had a reservation, I waited for someone to seat me, they went looking for the manager, and returned saying he would be right out - after waiting 10 minutes in a restaurant with 10 people seated I left to eat at the Irish Pub around the corner.
Jamie was top notch and able to answer every question and make excellent suggestions. We will b asking for her to be our server on subsequent visits.

Great experience
My bf and I came to Oceanaire for date night and had a excellent evening; we’ll be going back. The ambience was amazing. Beautiful lighting and slow jazz music playing in the background. It’s a bit chilly inside if you are more sensitive to cooler temperatures. Our server Cassie was genuine and full of energy, we loved her. The food was plated, prepared and served well. We were treated so well by the staff, it was very refreshing.
The whipped potatoes were very dry!! The drinks could’ve been more for the amount we paid!
No hostess on arrival. Waitress was horrible. Food not great. Never will go back

My husband and I went for our first wedding anniversary. The food was delicious and our host and server were very friendly. I would love to go back and visit again.
Went for my girlfriends birthday dinner. This is my second time at the Oceanaire and it was better than the first time somehow. Food, service, and atmosphere was incredible. Our waitress Cassie as well as the other members of the staff were accommodating and friendly. Can't wait to come back
Went to celebrate my daughter’s 21st Birthday with her BFF. Sat in a semi-circle booth near the window. Head Waitress was pleasant as well as other waiting staff. Ordered the Crab Cakes and the Norwegian Salman (my daughter broiled and her BFF grilled). The broiled salmon was out of this world. Perhaps because it was beautiful drenched in butter...yum! Overall food was great! Ended the night with their signature Baked Alaska for a fun presentation and 3 coffees. We are fans of French Press coffee which most up scale restaurants have but unfortunately they didn’t but oh well! We didn’t come their for the coffee but it would of put a nice ending to the night. My daughter was excited to turn 21 and take a drink of a cocktail she ordered but unfortunately because her ID is vertical and not horizontal, the restaurant couldn’t serve her alcohol. Oh well...she will have to wait till she gets that new ID! My daughters favorite part of the night was when a 3 yr old little boy came up to her with his father to wish her a Happy Birthday as he was there also celebrating his birthday too! So sweet!
The food was delicious and we will be going back more often. The only part that I did not like was that our drinks had a little too much ice compared to other restaurants that are in the same category as this restaurant. The servers were polite and very helpful. Thank you.

Come to Oceanaire EVERYtime I’m in Bmore. Tonight we sat outside but it was so noisy from street traffic....not a great idea.
Our server, Tory, was very good! Knowledgeable and friendly, unobtrusive.
Food was pretty good. I would have to say, the portions were not substantial, for the cost... but I knew that. I had scallops on sweet potato risotto. The risotto and accompanying sauce were delicious! And that’s not easy to make risotto in restaurants! My scallops, however, were rather tasteless... not sweet at all . My dinner friends were pleased with their filet mignons, cooked perfectly. One friend had shrimp scampi & ate it all!
Good for a once in a while but I wasn’t as blown away as I usually am.

Love the staff and service at Oceanaire. Never disappointed, however my card was charged an incorrect amount. The issue was corrected but still a slight inconvenience. I will still frequent Oceanaire.
We came to dine in for my boyfriend’s birthday. You guys were COVID-19 prepared and that was a great comfort and we felt safe. He had a good birthday dinner.
Food was good. Portions were small for the price.
Best birthday dinner I did not have to cook. Staff were so professional and on point. Food was delicious and had simple elegant presentation.
