My wife got the Scallops that were done just right. I got the Rockfish with lobster that was just melt in you mouth delicious.
Everything was very good. Only odd/awkward thing is that at the very end when they are giving you your check they give you a a little pamphlet and give you a speech to try to get you to join their loyalty program. I would say that is quite tacky and unnecessary.
Excellent service, food well prepared with respect to what the food was not using fancy sources to disguise something. This is a big difference to many other restaurants – will go back here again
Food was very good. Waiter had another large party and forgot about us. Had to eventually cancel dessert and leave. Unfortunate. We have had many good waiters here previously.
Outstanding service and food. Alexandro was an amazing server.
Great atmosphere and services, food was great just small portions. Imma big eater...lol..i look forward to returning to again soon.
GOOD ATMOSPHERE AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL REGARDING THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT
Took a friend for dinner. I'm rarely wowed by any restaurant's food, more the atmosphere, and the company. The food here is always good, better than most and value wise on the money. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was good and if you don't know the area perfectly located. Sidenote, I can't stand relatively mindless jazz musak, but at least it wasn't conversationally overpowering.
My husband birthday
We had dinner there for our 24th wedding anniversary on 1/27/19 and we had an absolute wonderful experience. Charlie, our waiter was phenomenal and kept us laughing. He made us feel very special and give personalized customer service. Our food was awesome and our entire experience left nothing to be desired. We will be back and Charlie is our go-to guy! The icing on the cake ~ Baked Alaska for dessert and our personalized menu with our anniversary at the top!!
Love it 1st time. Great spot for anniversary first date proposal spot
It was okay,
I really just didn’t enjoy the food. Sorry 😐
Never a disappointment with exquisite service! The baked Alaska was excellent!
Great service from beginning to end. Very attentive. Explained everything you need to know. Great service!
Very nice Seafood Restaurant. Very good Choice with the raw bar.
Had a fabulous time. Howard was wonderful
My experience was amazing. Server was awesome and food was to die
My only complaint would be the speed of the bar service needs to increase a little but overall a great experience
I enjoyed everything about my visit during restaurant week. The food was AMAZING!
Great food, great service, loved the happy birthday menu.
My husband and I visited this restaurant for Restaurant Week. I ordered the crab cakes which were excellent. However, I wasn't too thrilled about the $5 upcharge, which basically had you paying the regular price for them. My husband had the short rib, which was exactly what it was. One small boneless piece of short rib, which was excellent, just a bit skimpy. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, the food and the service. We definitely intend to visit again.
Was hard to see the menu even while sitting near the window. During this visit of restaurant week, we were given some nice choices per 3 courses. For my 1st choice, I had the calamari and my husband had the kale & beet salad. Both were good, except that the calamari had some hot and sour surprises in store. I was not aware that the calamari was fried with jalapenos as well as a lemon wedge, which would have been fine as a garnish on the plate instead fried and added to the calamari. For the second course, I had the salmon and he had the seafood paella. Both were good some of the side dishes were warm almost cold and not hot like the rest of the dish. For the 3rd course, we both had the bread pudding after asking if it was served warm, but it was not. Actually it was quite cold. The ambiance was lovely. Loved the service, valet, and decor.
Our dining experience was fantastic due to NETTY I visited awhile back and now everytime we come we have to go eat due to NETTY She excels beyond anywhere we dined in Baltimore and will dine with her in a couple of months and bring all my quest as well. Hats off in this time of finding an employee that gives a damn thanks for a grand experience.
We explore it as a part of Baltimore Restaurant Week. Ambience was great, food was spectacular, server was stand-off ish (felt like we were treated “less than” cause we ordered off the restaurant week menu). I would try this place again to see if the service is better. Overall, amazing seafood restaurant but on the pricey end.
Oceanaire never told me about their frequent dining program and the other restaurants involved in the program.
Service is their game!!! Loved every moment.
We went to Oceanaire for my 45th birthday and despite letting them know that it was a celebration, the server said Happy Birthday and that's it. No special cake, dessert, nothing. The food is extremely expensive for the portion that you get. A 6 oz. filet was $37 with no sides at all. The oysters rockefeller were barely filled. The fried calamari had a soggy batter that kept falling off. And the lemon slice that accompanied the calamari was also breaded and fried - almost ate it thinking it was a zucchini. The lobser bisque had 2 pieces of tiny lobster on top and was only lukewarm when it arrived. My father ordered lobster tail, and at $32 a pound, it was just ok. The servers kept trying to take our plates when we still had food on it and sauce - not sure why there was such a rush to clear the table. I feel that the quality of the restaurant has gone down over the years and we will not be returning. The one good thing was the sourdough bread.
Food for Baltimore Restaurant Week menu was phenomenal!! Our service was awesome!!! My boyfriend & I had a wonderful & rare date night!
Great experience, definitely will be returning. This was my first time and I really was empress.
Food was passable, shrimp were over cooked, expected more
Our meals were wonderful and the service excellent! Would recommend!
Excellent food, atmosphere, and wait staff.
Great resturant and menue
Very disappointing. Perhaps they were off their game with the New Year's Eve crowds, but the service was slow and the food was sub-par. "Roasted" brussel sprouts were clearly steamed; spicy shrimp appetizer was soggy, $50 grouper entree was not appetizing. Cocktails were great, but I'd be hard pressed to spend that kind of money there again for such a mediocre meal. Our waiter tried to make things right by giving us a free cocktail and reordering the brussel sprouts (which were barely better than the first order), but it just wasn't enough.
Had reservations but it still took 20 mins to get seated. Mind you there were plenty of empty tables and servers. Got seated at the worst possible table right off the bathroom. Complained as was promptly moved to a nice booth. Server was knowledgeable but not the friendliest. Took over 20 mins to get our drinks. My entree was good but small. Wife’s entree was undercooked. Overall, less than average service and food from this high-end restaurant.
the food was amazing. Charlie our service was one of the best we ever had. Will be going back soon. awesome experience.
Food was very good . The service was a little slow due to bar being so busy ... took awhile to get re-order of drinks . Overall a good experience .
New Year’s eve dinner. Restaurant was slammed so wait staff were not as attentive as they could’ve been.
The food and drinks were delicious and our server was outstanding. Parking is right across the street. It was a great start to our New Year.
This is a great seafood restaurant close Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The food and cocktails are very good and the service is quite good. Francisco, one of the restaurant’s managers, was especially nice and professional. The restaurant itself offers really great seafood which make a visit a must when at the Inner Harbor. We spent New Years Eve here and had a really great time.
