   We ate at Oceans Edge on Thanksgiving. We were in seating 3. We arrived promptly at 4 o’clock. The food was looked picked over, likely because it was leftover from prior 2 seatings. None of the dishes were hot, it was lukewarm at best even the hot gravy could not warm up the meal. Service was scarce and we felt like we needed to flag someone down to get a drink. The ambience overall was not great, with full lighting on in the ballroom. Additionally, there were no holiday decorations.  A service fee of 20% was automatically added, which I would’ve had no problem with if we actually had attentive service. For the money, I expected an experience which this was not. Overall we left very disappointed and would not recommend.

   We had a reservation for four but they only had tables for two in the area under the heaters. Put us in the back corner of the patio where it was freezing. Server took our order and it was 30 minutes before the drinks came. We asked to move to the warmer area and they kept seating other parties instead of moving us. Server said they had no bartenders or food servers. We ended up leaving before the food came.

   We had dinner here on Saturday night and it was beyond disappointing. The terrace itself was absolutely freezing - while the main bar area has heaters, the actual terrace did not have a single heater, leaving all guests out there absolutely freezing. Service was SO slow all around and our meals were terrible. I ordered the mushroom tart which was $34 - it was literally an empty hardshell pie crust filled with what looked like a side order of mushrooms. It was beyond bad. The table next to us got up and left halfway through their meal they were so frustrated with the slow service. We overheard their waitress explaining to them that they are currently understaffed, doing way too many weddings, so do not have enough cooks, bartenders or servers to do regular meal service. It clearly showed. While this spot is probablyy great for a drink, it was not the nice meal at all we were expecting or paid for.

   This was our second visit to Ocean Edge, our first visit to the Terrace. There was a wedding reception the night we attended and we weren't able to see the water as the result. It was beautiful to be outside and the heaters helped keep us warm. The prices are really high on the food but the portions are not large. Next time, I will return to another local favorite which has delicious food and larger portion sizes for the price. Ocean Edge is beautiful, but I don't think we will return.

   Perfect dinner from start to finish. Our service was amazing and attentive. Food prepared perfectly & we loved the dessert given for our anniversary! The ambiance was great/not very noisy or loud. We enjoyed all of it!

    A very nice experience. The view was spectacular, the food was great and the drinks were wonderful. The service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a hurry. Our server took the most wonderful photo of my wife and me!
