Inside and out, Ocean Terrace offers a refined dining experience against the stunning backdrop of Cape Cod Bay. At this Cape Cod restaurant, take a seat and sip on a refreshing glass of wine while gazing over the water’s horizon.

Guests can dine on elevated New England fare at every meal, including a grilled lobster roll with basil aioli, a hearty bowl of traditional clam chowder, and delectable oysters on the half shell. When the evening grows dark, gather out on the terrace and warm your spirits over fire bowls and conversation.

Server was great, kitchen mixed up the entrees. Ordered 2 strip steaks rare plus. One strip and one filed delivered to table. When correct steaks were placed on the table, flavor good but made medium and not rare plus. We have not, over many years, found a great restaurant on the Cape. Ocean Terrace was one of the better restaurants, but nothing to write home about.

We reserved a high top under the pavilion, described as having heat lamps (just in case!). We arrived early to have a drink at the lobby bar so we could enjoy the pianist. Unfortunately we were unable to get anyone’s attention (yes, we went up to the actual bar too). So after waiting 15 min we went to the hostess, who kindly informed us our table was ready. That was nice. Unfortunately, it was not a high top and was not under the pavilion and did not have a heat lamp overhead. This was more unfortunate as the evening progressed since a light rain and chilly air moved in. The staff moved us inside, which was appreciated. Unfortunately the meals were all subpar from start to finish. Overall, while the ambiance is nice, the evening missed on honoring the reservation as specified (note that the choice of tables is right on the reservation form) and on the food. Disappointing.

Dined on Terrace, very noisy and extremely , slow staff. Food came out cold/luke warm. Don’t go in season for sure.

The four of us live on Cape Cod so we are all very familiar with most dining establishments. Only one of the three of us ate the meal. We were very clear that we wanted no onion on any of our food not even as a garnish. Guess they didn't get the message in the kitchen or more likely didn't read the waitress's order as she was wonderful. Needless to say the food went back to the kitchen and replated and sent back to us but by now stone cold. My medium rare burger was raw and the other medium rare was well done?? Avacacado mushed into a cup?? not sliced as it should have been. Best part of the meal was the waitress and the view and a lovely New England summer day. Sadly, this meal was a far cry from last year, which was superb. Don’t accept the spring water in the blue bottles! Each bottle is $8.00 per bottle! They don’t tell you that, before they start to pour it into a glass. The charcuterie board was very skimpy for the price-not even pretty. We ordered the lamb. This entree should have been served with a wine sauce. The waitress looked at us like we were out of our minds for asking for it. She did not seem knowledgeable about the menu. She finally brought us two little servings (looked like take out and cold). Very disappointing for $55 plate. Service was slow and not very attentive. Very expensive and not worth the price that I paid for this dinner. This dinner was an Anniversary Celebration-the meal did not rise to the occasion.
