    Amazing dinner from start to finish! Everything about Ocean Prime was top notch. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all excellent. Unlike most of the restaurants in DC, Ocean Prime has a comfortable noise level. Not as loud as most, yet not that weird silence that some high end restaurants have. A great place for a meeting, a romantic date, or a celebration. Highly recommend and we will be trying their locations in Beverly Hills and Dallas.

    Excellent experience until the bill came. Don’t mild spending top dollar for a fine dining experience, however have no tolerance for unexpected and undisclosed “surcharge “ of any magnitude. Waiter was embarrassed and had a tough time explaining why there was a surcharge. He offered to speak to his manager about removing the surcharge and then came back with the surcharge still on the bill. Excellent waiter. Management put him in an uncomfortable position.Shame on you for sneaking in a surcharge for whatever reason. Done with Ocean Prime.
