Ocean Prime - Denver Tech Center
Great Food and Service did not have to wait and the drinks are absolutely Amazing
Lamb and scallops were both outstanding meals, as was the gluten free sushi dish we shared as an appetizer.
Beautiful restaurant and the service is excellent. Wide selection of salads!
Fantastic service and fabulous food!
We enjoyed our dining experience. The staff was friendly and prompt.
I would recommend this restaurant to our friends and family. The food was prepared to our satisfactions
Superb service and outstanding food.
Great food and service. The truffle mac and cheese is a must have, the side vegetables are amazing and my sea bass was perfect. My only complaint is we were made to wait 25 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation.
We celebrated my husband and my friends birthdays. At one point, the music simply became so loud that it was difficult to hear everyone at the dinner table. We all have good hearing too. That was the only blip in a flawless evening. The food the service the ambience was outstanding!
Good food, great service, overall expensive. Not quite on par with With the best in this category, but still very good.
Slow service, halibut had no taste, sauce over powered lamb,
Great for business dinner, special birthday or important date night.
We were sat in a back room that had many kids that were making a lot of noise. Our server was very good but was working too many tables. If you make a reservation, I suggest that you request the front room. That is what we will do next time.
we celebrated my husbands birthday. It was so elegant. The serve was definitely top notch, the food was over the top.
Wonderful experience, our server was wonderful and attentive.
The food was phenomenal, attention to our table was superb, and the overall experience was great! 50% off our bottle of wine was great.
The food was delicious and the service excellent. I did not appreciate the seating, which was past the bar and in a private room where extra tables had been set up. If the main restaurant had been full, it would have made sense. However the main dining room was not at capacity and had many empty tables. It’s obvious the extra room was for restaurant week patrons. Not the experience I was expecting and a bit disappointing.
Ocean Prime in the Tech Center delivers on all levels. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, the Oscar sauce heaven sent, the service was superb and the ambiance was amazing. We even had a special request which the chef prepared to perfection. Truly an outstanding restaurant and I highly recommend for a special night out.
Arrival was a bit confusing. We arrived 5 minutes ahead of our reservation. It took a bit long to get seated.
We we're there for restaurant week. Special menu was great. Service was very good too.
We will probably return.
The service was wonderful, as was the food. The portions were perfect and everything was prepared and presented very well. Worth every penny!
Tried Ocean Prime during Restaurant Week - the menu & serving size was perfect & delicious.
We had a wonderful evening. Jim, our waiter was delightful and the food delicious. After we had been seated for a while, a booth became available. We asked if it would be possible to move. We were taken care of immediately and happily. We will definitely return...could become our new favorite.
We went out for our anniversary to Ocean Prime. The noise level where we were seated was quite loud next to a table of 8 but besides that the service and food was outstanding. We went during restaurant week and we ordered from that menu. We spent more on booze than the delicious food so a killer deal.
This was our first time in the DTC location, we had no idea what to expect from the former Cool River decor. I was impressed they changed a very open expansive site to feel cozy and enjoyable. The private dining spaces are quiet, the bar is attractive and the booths are cozy. The food was prepared as requested and any special requests were accommodated. I can't say enough, the service was attentive and responsive.
Staff was a bit overwhelmed with crowds for Denver's Restaurant Week.
Our service was great and the wine selection was outstanding, will visit again.
Loved this location! I only wish they didn't play the music so loud in the entrance area, since you can't hear the hostess call you name, or rather say your name. They either need to turn the music down or have the hostesses speak up. Also, the music selection is rather interesting....I would prefer something more relaxing than led zepplin. The food and service was outstanding! Will be back!
The beef filet was one of the best I’ve ever had. Partner had the sea scallops with risotto which was also flavorful and cooked just right. Green salads were fresh and well chilled.
Shane was outstanding! Beautiful restaurant and we will be back very soon.
The only concern I have that was subpar was the two ladies at the front they pretended like they didn’t see us, I had to ask for my coat to be checked but the coat check service was offered to the party behind us. It was not better when I had to retrieve my coat same two ladies, other than that everything was excellent, maybe I’ll call and make sure those front desk ladies aren’t there when my wife and I return .
We did feel a little rushed during dinner, I'm not sure if it was because it was Restaurant Week or if this is the norm.
Joshua was our server whom made the
Experience even more fabulous. The meal was the greatest memory to hold onto for a lifetime.
The table we were sat at was in a section that has the tables way to close together. We should have asked for another table but there was no one else in the section when we were first seated. Looking around you can see that they have to many tables in all of the sections but this section was particularly obnoxious. Crab cake entrée was dry and bland. Surf and turf appetizer had good flavor and scallops were cooked correctly but the shredded braised short ribs (on the surf and turf appetizer) had too much connective tissue and fat. Connective tissue and fat are normal on short ribs but not for this type of presentation. My wife had the 8oz fillet and she liked it.
Went for restaurant week and waiter was not very pleasant, food was overpriced and portions were small. Steak and pretzle bread was very good, but the rest of the meal (including dessert) was nothing special. Also, size of shrimp is exaggerated, not worth the upcharge.
The food was excellent. When our steaks arrived we did not have steak knives and had to ask for them. It took a while for them to clear our used plates from the table. It was restaurant week and they were busy so that could be part of the reason why. Otherwise, great food and atmosphere.
Beautiful setting, great service, good food, still overpriced.
Great experience in the new location...our wait staff were very attentive...will be back!
Food was very good and the service was good. No big complaints.
Great ambience, service & food, but ... very spendy!
Our group of 4 took part in the Denver Restaurant Week at Ocean Prime - DTC. Two of us had the sea scallops and two had the filet mignon dinner. We were greeted promptly by the hostess and seated. We were initially greeted at our table by one of the wait staff and welcomed to the restaurant. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. All 3 courses of the$45.00 option were excellent. This was our 1st visit to this location of Ocean Prime and we will definitely return.
We had a good dining experience although we felt that for the Denver restaurant week there could have been a better selection of desserts to pick from. Other than that the rest of the food was great!!
We were very impressed. It hard to go to a place any more and get good service and good food.
