The staff are friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is quiet. I haven't had a bad dish there yet. Everything is delicious.
Great service from House, that’s his name. Ask for him for a fine dining experience. Crab cakes and swordfish were outstanding.
Excellent food with an outstanding view! Our waiter did a wonderful job even though he was obviously stretched among too many tables. Unfortunately this has been a trend this summer since restaurants are short staffed. Overall great night!
Excellant meal, atmosphere, and service, Will be going again soon!
We both had the duck a lorange.
It was crispy on the outside and perfectly moist on the inside.
Our server, Deidre, was delightful.
Food was ok. Breakfast was included in your stay which was nice.
we all ordered something different and everyone liked their meals
Outside dining overlooking the Boothbay they were spectacular..Our waitress Megan what is top notch very professional and very personable..
Great location but that’s about it. You get a basic breakfast as part of your stay. The staff are generally nice but the resort is not really setup for large groups. It could be that they are stretched thin right now but would not recommend hosting s large event here.
They told us they were not doing outside seating, sat us next to a smashed broken window, then sat someone at a table outside 5 min later. The food was completely microwaved and disgusting. We actually got up and left and we to down town and got breakfast.
Unfortunately we were seated at a table that had a woman who had a few too many who had a very loud voice!
Dinner was outstanding. We especially loved the brandied lobster appetizer.
Delicious, fresh cooked breakfast. My husband loved his blueberry pancakes!
Problem: the Chicken Atlantis, which I and another diner ordered, did not have lobster meat, did have shrimp (which looked good but were rather chewie) and had a single tiny piece (<dime) of mushroom (no 'mushrooms'). See Menu entry below:
Boneless all-natural chicken
breast with Maine lobster,
scallops, mushrooms and
tarragon cream 30
At $30 one should get what is described. As a diner in a party of 6, I didn't want to make an issue of it, especially as it was otherwise tasty.
BTW, we love the Ocean Point Inn, but they need to do better on this.
Service was great. Food mediocre. The portions were very small and the quality could have been better. I ordered quiche of the day and the portion was half of a normal size and sub par in flavor
Friendly, competent staff making it a very good dining experience!
Breakfast each morning was fantastic! Seating was always with a beautiful view, very pleasant service and delicious food!
Dinners were very good but I feel the vegetable portion was very small, barely counting as a serving. And the presentation could be improved upon.
Breakfasts were a great value for the money and delicious. Presentation was wonderful!
Dinners were a little high in price.
Overall experience at the Inn… loved it!
We had a great room with a beautiful view and all staff were so very friendly and welcoming. The Inn was beautiful, peaceful and was a wonderful place for our getaway!
I would definitely go back!!
This was the perfect place to stay. Everyone was so helpful and nice. LOVED the setting right on the shore and completed with adarondick chairs for relaxing. The food was excellent as was the service.
Gracious service in a quiet peaceful setting!
Wonderful view. Food was good. Gabriel is an excellent bartender
Such a beautiful spot! Service was attentive. Food was very good. It didn't appear that there would be music, but there was - a guitarist who was right next to our table. But he was very good and quiet enough that he didn't make it impossible to be heard.
It was our anniversary and it was supposed to be recognized but it wasn’t. They were very busy for dinner!!! They ran out of lobster ravioli 😐
Great food great service. No one had complaints. Except they had sold.out of the lemon moose dessert. Great will be back!
Great view, tables a nice distance apart and very friendly servers.
Beautiful location and excellent wait staff. Food was slightly above average. Lobstah ravioli without a unique or light seafood sauce. Portobello lasagna very good. Could have a better craft beer selection since Maine has 100s of breweries. Overpriced. Many "away" people here as this ia a touristy place. Beautiful spot and has a firepit that was a great spot after dinner. Parking is very limited.
The restaurant was pretty looked out to ocean. Service was slow. Staff seemed confused who was working on our table. Food was small portions swordfish was raw inside. Restaurant has a lot of potential, however was just less than ok.
The chairs in Sea Winds were very uncomfortable, and we missed the desk and desk chair.
Our meals were enjoyed outside at picnic tables along the water. Our waiter, Spencer, was enthusiastic and attentive. The food was great. We will absolutely return when we have the chance to return to Boothbay.
(We did not stay at Ocean Point - just dined there).
Basic lunch menu, but worth the drive for the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful view. Thanks to our wonderful server, Megan!
(Don't forget to make the required reservation online or by phone.)

Breakfast was so-so
The Inn is a very nice place to eat. We have eaten there in the past but never for lunch. Our server was a lovely young woman and responsive. Initially, the hostess sat us next to a table with a lot of people. Our server asked us if we preferred another table that was further away, which we did in these covid times. This was something the hostess should have done. The food was very good. We had a leisurely lunch and will return.
The food and service were excellent! We will go back again!
We are 3 days into our stay here at the resort. We’ve eaten breakfast every morning and dinner twice here… all the meals have been wonderful! This place is perfect… we love the motel and the view..
Food was very good. Each of the 6 of us had something different and we were all pleased. Service was excellent.
This used to be a great place for dinner. Now it’s dysfunctional. Salad dressing in cafeteria-type packages, cold baked potato, overcooked swordfish-which I ordered because they ran out of prime rib. While I understand this happens at some point each night, we were told about it at least 20 minutes AFTER ordering.
Absolutely stunning location, very nice service. Limited lunch menu, with only OK food.
First time dining at Ocean Point. We were seated promptly upon arrival. The view from our table was awesome. The service was very good. I had the French onion soup and my wife had the Calamari for appetizers and they were both very good. I had the Tuna special for my entree and it was delicious. My wife ordered the Delmonico Ribeye. she said it was chewy but had a good flavor. Her sides were very very good. We will most definitely dine there again on future trips to the Boothbay Region!
Excellent breakfast with your stay. Variety of choices
Lobster stew was AMAZING!!! Crab cakes also very good. Weather cooperated so we were able to dine outside harbor side. Server named House was attentive and very nice.
Ambiance was amazing, watching the sunset, so how can you go wrong. Any staff we interacted with were over-the-top friendly, which made for a fun and friendly experience. The food was a bit above average: tasted great, was served warm and nicely plated. There were many options of meat and seafoods and a veggie option or two. The alcoholic beverage menu was good, too, with several wines and beers. Custom mixed drink options were okay, I thought too many options, each with too many ingredients. Overall—you won’t be disappointed!
Food was delicious, lovely views of the ocean, and outstanding service.
Very good food. The lobster stew was a favorite. So delicious! The blueberry pie was excellant!
